>Blur -> Sharpen -> Feed model
>Poisoned data behaves similarly to steganography - tiny incomprehensible changes to exact pixel values carry meaningful information. Loosing the exact pixel values loosed the data, in this case - the poison.
>This defeats all adversarial models, on a conceptual level. The only slight downside is the cost of blurring the image - however, that’s negligible when compared to the cost of actually training the model (both tasks are efficient to do on a GPU or a TPU, so no extra equipment is required).
that requires you to do it to all input images though.

it's very easy to do batch operations on files. A blur -> sharpen pass is two lines of shell scripting, and takes about 2s per file.

>>106475254
I already addressed that - the cost of blurring is negligible on a GPU/TPU, which you would have anyway because you’re training an AI model. Besides, blur+sharpen is just an oversimplified example to avoid derailing the thread into a technical discussion - in practice, cheaper and more reliable methods of removing the adversarial noise do exist.
Furthermore, you would only have to clean poisoned data. Even assuming no cheap detection method exists, you could safely clean only the images scraped from likely poisoned sources. Assuming your heuristic is mostly reliable, model quality wouldn’t be significantly affected even if many artists start doing this, which they won’t.
In practice, adversarial noise is only effective against uninformed hobbyists training a LoRA against a specific artist who uses it.

About the same to be honest.
If you don't trust Ali, use paypal, they're easier to take your money back, just know that if you do you'll be banned on ali.
I used paypal when I got started and didn't trust them yet.
Personally I know ali is trusthworthy though, in which case it doesn't matter. The fee is the same.

Theoretically, can you completely de-India your computer by only using software without any Indian commits? Linus removed all Russian code from the Linux kernel, so something like this is certainly doable.

What's a good base to start with for building a non-Indian OS under a free licence? Arch?

Calibre is huge overkill for just reading epubs, as you have noted.
The only halfway useful feature it has is acting as a runner for DRM removal tools, and that's just other people's code as a plugin.

Never said one should learn all math. But I'm saying learn the useful stuff, discrete, probability, calc, lambda calc, linear algebra. The more advanced stuff like analysis and numerical methods comes when dealing with numbers, but that's down the road.
>>
>>106475080
ah ok
makes perfect sense
>learn the tools, dont learn the bloat

tools are important. thats kinda the whole story of humanity, kek
we are a technological species, and some tools are abstract
>>
>>106475143
I think you may be arguing against your own point. Learn the tool would be the same as learning (or getting gud) at programming languages. Unless you meant learn tools of thinking, in which case I agree wholeheartedly. But this is a bit perverse at its core, because what teaches how to break things down and work carefully through a small amounts of computation can easily be dismissed by someone rampaging through math formulas.
I think learn the useful fields, yeah, but also learn how they came to be. In a way, delving a bit deep into how these logical constructs came to be is actually THE thing to become good at problem solving; to reformulate my point. But then again, I'm a bit dense when it comes to proofs and always had a hard time understanding them. Guess that's where I should focus my efforts to actually git gud at this stuff.
Very productive conversations, thanks a lot, anon. Good day.

Man when this game launched it was heralded as super optimized for PC and saying AA does what AAA can't but now it's a year later and the game has sprawled into being completely unmanageable performance wise by the devs themselves

THIS is why people only buy top of the line GPUs and 9800X3Ds now. Because look at that. A Double A game cannot even keep up its performance just a year later. And this was a game that the devs said "No DLSS - Doesn't need it!" and now they realise what a big fucking mistake that was.

It's true, OP is a retard that doesn't understand the game is ruined by gameguard and not because "iS MiSsInG mY FaG-LsS BiLlIoN DoLlAr fEaTurE!!"
>>

>Man when this game launched it was heralded as super optimized for PC
Who the fuck said that? It was terrible on release and had tons of bugs. People were rendering at 720p on release because hitting your vram limit crashed the game. All of the scopes rendered at 240p due to a bug. If you moved the camera to just the right angle everything would melt into this weird fractal'd alternate dimension and crash your game.
I haven't seen a single person say it was optimized (real person not a marketing monkey). It's clear this game was never intended to be as popular as it is and they have to rebuild it from scratch to meet expectations, which they never will.

How does a game become 110GB?
That download has to consist of at least 105GB of bloated asses sizes right?
>>
>>106475253
Many games are even bigger, see the recent CoD titles
In many games the major reason for bloated sizes is because of uncompressed media. Uncompressed videos, and uncompressed audio including uncompressed dubs in every subhuman third world language on Earth including dead tongues.
I remember a few years ago hearing about a game that has an uncompressed end credits video that's over 10 GB, just for a few minutes long black background with scrolling letters
