Many themes are very much random or chosen for aesthetics and really drop the ball on readability.At the end of the day it's all preference, if you actually prefer using monochrome then that's what you should use. XFS + Stratis is the future. There's a reason why it's RHEL's supported and recommended path forward. Btrfs is a dumpster file that RHEL doesn't even want to touch anymore and ZFS is poorly supported trash as well.
