Any anons into radio stuff? I just like to snoop into radio signals in my area from walkie talkies to police scanners very interestingI've been archiving telemetry data of airplanes in my area constantly hopefully it'll be of use some day or I could even sell it. I hear stuff like Walmart agents on walkie talkies to military codes I have no idea about
>>107856288I was into listening to a police scanner for years, still have a Uniden handheld, but now that local LEO traffic is all encrypted there isn't anything interesting to listen to. Fucking internet streamers ruined the hobby.

From your phone's wifi and cellular modem, to a wirelss chromecast for your tv, to the wifi router in your room, to the wifi card on your desktop gaming computer, do you ever wonder if all of this stuff is bad for us if it's working all at once?
>>107857440My point is, humans have a very weak shield against radiation. Going higher up in the sky already has consequences.So if you're going to introduce artificial made radiation, you can't expect it won't affect life. Especially when there are countless studies that show this. But keeping the artificial radiation going is far more beneficial for governments & co than taking care of its people.
>>107856549for now.
>>107857463The artificial radiation you talking about is not at an ionizing frequency though? It's kind of like shining a normal flashlight on your arm, how would it hurt you?

>>107854904hmm> (A() and B()) or (C() and {})...> if A() { B() } else {C(); {}}are these equivalent, or does the first one run C if B fails or something?
>>107856077yeahonly a good idea when the language allows a function to be nested inside another function
>>107856422They are not equivalent. C indeed depends on the return of B.In simple words, and chain returns either the first false value or the last value (if all of them are true), or chain returns the first true value or the last value

>>107856478Ok, so if B returns false or nil then C runsAnd if C returns false or nil that value is the result instead of {}.

I think I'm going to start migrating the CachyOS optimizations/"ecosystem" to a NixOS install. Seems pretty doable but I'll have to compile everything locally for zen4 optimizations.

>>107851299I used my PC for less than usual in November and December. It started going to sleep and not waking up. This is especially weird since I didn't change anything and I never had sleep enabled. I now have to use (Right Alt & Print Screen) followed by R, E, S, O, P to turn it off. I then restart it manually and it works. I changed the PC to go to sleep after 15 minutes, which seems to help a bit. If I leave it for a while it still becomes unresponsive. Jiggling the mouse, hitting a key etc. doesn't wake it up. Ubuntu 24.04Ryzen 5 RX 6550
What is better: a 14" or a 16" MacBook Pro? I can't decide. It's unironically too difficult to decide. On one hand, I would prefer the larger display, on the other hand I use my laptop exclusively when I can't use my PC to do something, which means I need a laptop for use around the house and carry it outside first and foremost. I absolutely do not want to use an external monitor almost ever though.

Just make the game render as interlaced scan instead of progressive.This will double the framerate, and reduce the pixels of each rame by half.Then all you have to do is use AI and both fields to generate a higher resolution full progressive frame.This will double whatever DLSS has to offer.No need to pay me, I'm working for free because the market needs a balance.
