I want to check all my current connections and I want to be sure what is making what connection (like the browser or antivirus).

But I have no idea how to look at this, networking filters me hard.

Seems to run scripts based on everything everybody does normally, but he must have extra failsafes in place for whatever was gunking up my attempts. The guy who made it probably included a workaround every possible roadblock. Worked like a charm. Wish I'd seen this earlier. Saving and keeping forever.

>Mozilla had to break it's tried and true internal security to do sandboxing and e10s with interprocess communication. This has left the Mozilla of today with weak internal security and the sandbox leaks like a sieve and constantly has sec issues focused at it along with the WebEx impl. Indeed, the very thing that we don't allow by design is actually something Mozilla is trying to introduce on top of everything else that has gone wrong over there... And of course more holes in any remaining old style security and their new sandbox needs to be punched to accomplish this.

>SO.. IF they are STRICTLY talking about the state of their own old style security today VS their new shit.. It MIGHT be "better" from the perspective that they have broken the old security and at that specific moment they have resolved some major issues in their NEW security. But it is all manipulative and indeed transitory. They have to keep punching holes in it so the feature of the day works and their old style security isn't compatible with it at all.. because what they are doing now is ill-advised at best and stupid insane at worse.

>HOWEVER, if they say their new sandbox and security model is superior to US.. Well they are just outright lying or talking out their ass because they likely never understood how the older but intact model worked because the people who wrote it have long since been purged. Or both.

>Bottom line is.. At any given point over a protracted period of time they are either breaking security or fixing security. While we... We just stay secure.

Docker only works for individual applications.
LXC/LXD are system containers, meaning you have services, logs, scheduled tasks, and so on, just like in a real OS.
>>
>>107890160
Blame whoever came up with the failed (and pushed) streamed app shit. Now Apple wants to start renting apps and I can't even find videos about Google, streaming and apps without a flood of results about their new TV streamer.

Streaming *everything* is what these companies want. They'll stream you oxygen if they can get the patent.

I think I got it running (?) but I need to manually run
>modprobe -r thinkpad_acpi
>modprobe thinkpad_acpi fan_control=1
And start the thinkfan.service everytime I boot. Wiki says something about generating initramfs manually but I'm confused by it. How do I do that?
>>
>>107890349
So if I want to run... idk a tor gateway or i2p router in a container to be used with other software (lets say, a web browser)
is better to run these services/applications as multiple dockers that communicate with each other (with docker compose) or run them in a single / multiple lxc container(s)?

I guess what I'm also getting at is, apart from portability reasons, why is docker more popular if you can do the same with lxc with all the benefits of system containers? Being lightweight can't be the reason since you can use alpine for lxc and I don't see it as inherently more secure since it runs as root ....
>>
>>107890539
it is never always better to use one over the other, or else both wouldn't exist

>why is docker more popular if you can do the same with lxc with all the benefits of system containers?
time to market, LXD is younger than docker, config for LXC containers pre LXD was more tedious which is a problem Docker solved, as it was originally based on LXC

hi
>>
>>107889801
why wouldn't it be fixable? Use more flux and re-wet those legs. the melting solder should contract on the leg.
>>
>>107889801
i should have looked closer. you may have to remove some of the solder mask from those traces in front of the legs so you can actually get something down. it also looks like you don't have enough heat in the solder you are using. you may also try a tiny bit of wire from the (lightly) scraped back traces to the legs that are broken off.

i have no idea how i'm supposed to respond to the text of your post so i'll just respond to the image you posted. your soldering looks shitty and there might be a poor/intermittent connection.

put some flux on the leads of the IC, and reflow the solder with a tinned tip. if there's too much solder after reflowing then clean it up with some solder wick. if your solder wick isnt working, put flux onto the wick and use a heavily tinned tip on the wick.

pic related is through hole but you get the idea.

What really bothers me about the Agar is that the super and meta keys on the right side are shifted to the right a bit compared to a true HHKB layout.
It's the same with most "HHKB layout" keyboards. On a true HKKB layout the super and meta keys placed literally perfectly.

>Song submission rules/guidelines
Upload the file somewhere, preferably in a lossless format, and post the link here. If you want to update your track, make a new post.
Include the song title in the post, and make it clear that your song is a submission for the album.
Optionally you may include cover art for your track, but please confirm that the image in your post is the cover art or it won't be included. You may not use your real artist name.
Songs that contain anything against YouTube's policies won't be uploaded on YT, but will still be added to the album.
By default, tracks will be normalised to -14 LUFS (integrated loudness) in the release. You may specify a lower loudness for your track.
Use of AI is banned. This includes AI generated stems, samples, and effects. "AI" includes all neural network-based models and not hard-coded automation/procedural generation. You are allowed to ask an LLM about music-related questions, but asking it to give you musical ideas (eg. generating a chord progression) is already a no-no.

I think in an interview the creator of neo it said that it uses no gears because of its custom robot actuators which i think make less noise. But im not spending $300 a piece or however many 3 digits on robot actuators for the time being.
Hell theres better alternatives to regular servos like the mg90 which are cheap. As a rule of thumb the less the motor struggles the less noise itd make which means youd want more torque. There might also be tricks like a low pass filter and dampening the vibrations….
