I think the other guy nailed it. Nvidia is still feeding off of the legendary 10 series, that 1 series built such a stronghold on the industry even after the years and years of locked features, higher prices and lower tiers getting killed on silicon/cuda count/vram the mental lock they have on the market is too impregnable. 10 series just killed AMD, who didn't own a card in the 10 series, at any tier and love it. Ironically it's also the time nvidia saw they can really start getting away with bullshit like the 1060 3GB.

But yes you can use loras to add details or concepts you like, you can make your own, you can add additional detail passes to remove bad eyes or fingers, you can make it look insanely detailed, etc. You can generate video, you can generate music, you can generate speech and lip synch the video. It's insane. Now yes a good video card will help but there are special workflows for poorfags with cheap gpus. go and lurk in the stable diffusion threads and look at the sticky.
