I think it would be fine, since under hard cornering it's mostly the front suspension that compresses and otherwise flexes, under a well tuned suspension setup you want the front softer than the rear afaik. so most of the force that would cause you to roll is getting bled off by the front suspension crunching down, and the tail is free to swing where it pleases but won't swing more since there's no force actively moving it, it's just being dragged by the front.

also a lot of ATV accidents are from retards gunning it too hard and flipping or losing traction, but that's harder to do on a front wheel drive vehicle. instead of crazy oversteer and the front wheels lifting off under power, all contributing to to a roll, you would have severe understeer under power and less pitching up under power
