As a guy with almost zero coding knowledge and/or experience how do I unironically into indie game development? I have a pretty solid idea for the next best indie game. I'm looking to create a linear pseudo open world rpg experience with a engine similar to Telltale where your choices kinda matter but not really, I also want to possibly incorporate multipleplayer into the campaign. Any advice is appreciated.

I would often wake up and get online while everyone was asleep. I also had arguments with my sister because we only had one phone line and she wanted to talk on the phone. It absolutely was a different era.
I cant stop scrolling omg!!
Realistically, I think 90 minutes a day of Internet actually is too much, assuming that this is solely time dedicated to being online and not just seated at a computer. My work is remote and requires me to access databases, but I'd say 50% of each job is done outside of my browser. I've rarely needed to put in a full workday but the few times I did, I was still mainly typing up documents and scanning through shit I already had backups of. And suppose that you're just using the Internet for general purposes like reading news, an hour and a half is still a lot. I used to try to read the entire physical newspaper every morning and it would take me just under two hours to go cover to cover, and that includes the redundant stories they shove in to fill column space. When I stopped receiving the paper and moved online, I had to put in effort to need more than a half-hour to get up to date on everything, because of how truncated online articles tend to be. There's the elephant in the room of talking to people and playing videogames but like I said, those don't necessarily rely on you being constantly connected. I can send a message to someone, go offline for an hour and then pop briefly back online to do a followup. Obviously on an IM client this would look weird but everybody understands that you aren't beholden to their time or attention. And with games, if you're in the trap that is competitive ranked stuff or have a group who consistently plays whatever, your life is probably healthy enough you don't have to worry about spending too much time online.Anyways my point is you don't need the Internet as much as you think you do.
I spent more time on the internet as a kid back in 2001 than this guy.
So if matrix is open source how come no ones forked it and fixed the meta data problem?

cute kitasDors anyone have a nm790 without a heatsink? I bought two of them but they're underneath my gpus, so I got some strips of metal for them. But the controller isn't as tall as the memory, so in order for the pad to contact it, the whole pcb bends by a degree or two.

god what is up with modern keyboards? its either featureless minimalism for super cheap or over designed bloat for outragous prices. all i want is the feature set of a G710+ but new and not $200 wtf.
>>106456768>CAD developers and animators basically use the keyboard and mouse the same way gamers doIt's not a bad point, but there's a large difference which is that there is never a moment during use of CAD where failing to do something 5ms faster than your opponent causes you to fail rather than succeed. So while in some sense you can usefully compare CAD to a video game, it's completely ridiculous to suggest that a hall effect keyboard will be as beneficial to a CAD user as it is to a serious competitive gamer.>>106465075>All I want is the feature set of [keyboard that cost $210 at release when adjusted for inflation] but new and not $200 wtf
