Is this the general where I can actually discuss image diffusion? Can someone explain wtf DareMerge nodes do? I've been messing with the parameters for the past hour and have come to the conclusion that the merges are done at complete random.
>tweak parameters
>the merge gens something interesting
>try to adjust it
>image suddenly changes entirely even though I'm on the same seed
>revert back to the old parameters
>image is still different
>even drag in the wf from the png itself
>image is still different
Are these nodes broken or something?

What's the best small, compact, non-phone non-hinge computer? Laptops just give me the ick.

Something with a decent enough balance of power to not overheating/running out of battery in 30 minutes. I don't plan to AAA-game on it, but it would be nice to do just miscellaneous stuff. Maybe some really older games, as a novelty.

What is the deal with the Anti-AI derangement syndrome? I don't like to judge people, but the anti-AI seem to include an evenly distribution of furries, twitter "artists", people with funny hair color, and a poor understanding of economy.

You probably don't want that.
>>
>>107626447
Yes and 99% of it is due to not requiring HTML be well formed. There are tons of unwritten rules on how HTML is parsed and displayed. If your browser doesn't do it the same way as a more popular browser, most will reject your browser. There are endless edge cases you must account for because of this. A well defined spec that had to be followed correctly would make it simple to make a new browser. That's why web standards are in constant flux and the standards committees, populated by the big players, set the standard to be whatever the big players do.

>there are people who still use BIOS over UEFI and turn off secure boot in the year 2025 on this board
What the fuck is your problem?

UEFI/GPT has been the standard for a decade. UEFI supports larger drives, boots faster because UEFI runs in 32/64-bit mode rather than 16-bit mode, handles initializing multiple hardware devices during boot better than BIOS/MBR, and supports modern hardware better than BIOS/MBR in general. Unless you have an ancient computer, it is almost certainly UEFI/GPT OTB.

I can't think of a reason to use BIOS/MBR if your computer supports UEFI/GPT.

>>107627091
lmfao typical /g/tard, you don't understand how security works at all. resetting the CMOS just removes the bios password and resets the boot config. it's not going to allow you to access the drive then unless you enter the drive's unlock code (for FDE or OPEL) UNLESS your TPM module is not cleared. on some boards, the TPM detects a BIOS reset and will not release the keys.

same if an attacker puts the drive into another machine, it's still encrypted/locked (and obviously won't have the TPM module on a different board so you will have to enter your key).

there are a couple attack vector still like bus sniffers, fault injecting attacks, and DMA/cool boot ones (and more rare for non-integrated TPMs you can sometimes splice them onto a separate board to extract the keys only if you can still get it to pair to the donor board) but unless your adversary is a highly competent hacker or the NSA/CIA/FBI, you're fine.

Yeah. Like me holding a gun to your head and making you type in your password. Or hitting you with a hammer. Or if I'm the NSA just sniffing everything you do through the built in back door.

But I don't even have to do all of that. $100 for a low end hooker and you'll gladly unlock the device for her because you haven't had pussy since pussy had you.

I've been using this site https://meatfighter.com/ascii-silhouettify/ to generate ASCII art for Fastfetch. It's pretty good, but it seems pretty geared towards flat logos and I want to display some stuff with more depth. I've used some other programs which can generate that depth, but they don't export to txt files with ANSI color codes, which would be the only way for fastfetch to read them. Is there an easy way to splice these programs or to otherwise generate high-quality readable ASCII art? I don't know anything about programming, so i can't really build my own program from scratch.

The only reason it's still there is not because it's a good OS it's because of software compatibility. Force people to develop for other platforms and eventually people will be happier. MacOS for production, Linux for gayming and servers.
