My experience with Scarlett devices is that their drivers are horrendous and unstable beyond comprehension in the modern computing landscape and I would never suggest anyone to inflict themselves with that pain.

I don't know if the small interfaces like that one use standard USB audio drivers or if they also need the special sauce custom driver. You should do some research on that I guess, if it needs the special Focusrite driver then stay the fuck away.

I would like a decent ARM laptop that I'm not forced to run Mac OS or worse Windows on. These manufacturers don't seem to give a shit about Linux. People in general didn't give Windows on ARM a warm reception. So I just stick with x64. I am happy with my Huawei laptop. I was learning about win10 differences last september, went with win 10 enterprise ltsc iot and have ignored the shit they are doing with win 11.
so I can't be sure about that.

but it was the same for me when I jumped from win 7 to win10
