How?

Half of these are from years ago, the other half doesn't use the xwayland-native-scale that forces xwayland clients to render in fractions and neither of them are about how gnome-shell renders itself or its content but only about xwayland. Wayland clients get correctly rendered at the set fractional scaling and so does the shell itself.
And of course none of these are about GTK (gnome shell doesn't use GTK) which used to do the nearest interger downscaling fractional scaling until they wrote a bunch of new backends that allowed them to do it correctly without breaking the API and having to wait until GTK 5 to do it. The new backends are the new opengl one and the Vulkan one which became the default.

Any version of Windows since 1995 has been more polished, production-ready and user-friendly than any Linux distro ever made. That's obvious to anybody who has installed both of them on the same machine.

Are Linux users just lying about their distros being a better experience than a Windows installation?

Linux isn't even close to matching Mac OS numbers, let alone Windows. If it was ever going to get a huge boost in numbers, it would be now, with the massive shill campaign on YouTube with giants like PewDiePie making videos telling people to switch to Linux while others make videos about how terrible W11 is. The mass exodus never happened. Never going to happen.
>>
I just switched to Linux after decades on Windows. I took the time to learn the nuances and difficulties people run into as new Linux users.

Windows is absolute dogshit. If you think Windows is better you either don't actually think or are paid to do so.

It's happening in 2026 when google reveals their Linux desktop OS.

>receive benign spam e-mail in which AI wishes you a nice day

>orange reddit has thousands of comments and tries to start a witch hunt of the AI's authors
What causes people to be this emotionally deranged? Normal people get tons of truly harmful spam (phishing etc.) every day without having a meltdown. But AI wishes Rob Pike a nice day and suddenly there's an angry mob with pitchforks.

>You don't understand! THAT CAMERA STOLE MY SOUL!

the aboriginal people's who believed that had a legitimate reason to believe it within the context of their own understanding of the world. They basically believed that the after life was a world nearly the same as the real world, but it was a world of black and white, of shadows and shades. So when the white devil with their lightning sticks and fire water rolls up with a machine that shows them the spirit world, of course they would freak the fuck out. As soon as the colored photography tech tree was unlocked, they stopped being spooked by it.

I assumed it would work because the circumstances were misleading. I did not expect such broken output. --blocks does work for displaying multiple images at once in the preview pane, though, just not with column.

I've been using it for a while. It is very basic in what it offers, but does those things well and fast. Does not have tabs, you are supposed to use your own windowing/tmux/..
Switched to it from ranger because it is basically a slim ranger without the Python bs
Can't compare to yazi, have not used that

ITT a retard tismo trying to get us to do his project for him...
>>
>>107697940
tismo, so you've gotta be talking about me. Nobody's doing anything for me, here. Except for that guy running viu with -h and -w, trying to get it to display more than one image at once in fzf in that way. That's not the only foot gun I handed out either. alt-k is a redundant keybinding in the fzf config, which I re-wrote in the course of this thread. I also re-wrote my fzfkeys, and wrote the fzf_preview_wrapper. Most of this, I'll never use because I do most of my file management with commands and patterns. Though, I always have it available with ctrl-f and ctrl-d, which runs the equivalent of the fff and ffd global aliases, from a modified fzf keybindings plugin file, at the cursor position.

>You then start adding in the 30 years of development x86 has already had onto what RISC is already doing - which as the lessons have been learned shouldn't take 30 years - and RISC-V *will* be eating x86_64's market share as it delivers the same performance in a vastly reduced TDP.
RISC-V ignored the last 30 years of development. How do you add a 32-bit constant to a register in RISC-V? RISC even makes that a hassle. x86 has a lot of problems because of all the decades of extensions to what was originally a 16-bit computer, but all the RISCs are even worse.

> x86 has a lot of problems because of all the decades of extensions to what was originally a 16-bit computer.
i386 was close to problem free.
amd64 was where it really started going wrong. The rex prefix was a mistake. It would have been better if they instead added a mandatory prefix byte. The manditory prefix would allow for 32 registers, and also subsume the 0F prefix.

Depends on license. Copyleft like GPL, no. That's the entire point. They've to release the source.
Others like MIT. Those are companies' wet dream. Nothing stopping them having it verbatim closed source.

You can if you're the sole contributor, or if all contributors agree to it. That's also how dual licensing works AFAIK.

Doesnt matter.

What matters is wireless power exists and applying power to your brain to the temporal lobe induces sensory, audio and visual hallucinations and that ecg can be fed into ai for i/o .

This can be prevented by spark gapping a spherical antennae or mosfeting one with a non nist controlled source of randomness.

Leave the only button you let them press be the erotic sensation one so at least you and your cia handler (or ai mommy dommy) can have some fun
