correct they all have been owned by same company for a while and actually for very long time for Avast' acquistion of AVG. Avast used AVG's behavior module Identity Protection and together with its own relatively good signature detection Avast/AVG have been among the top for as long as I knew it. Now after merging with Norton/Avira/Bullguard they're like one of the 5 big (in terms of capability) consumer AVs there's ever left things haven't changed; Norton, Kaspersky, Microsoft, Bitdefender and ESET.

Also it was one of the lightest compared to the protection it provided. I don't follow AVs for a very long time so I don't know what things happened since but they looked like trying to be more privacy conscious after Jumpstart incident happened.

As I said in my other post I would not recommend for AV but you're definitely looking for one and the best one I can't answer it too, because Kaspersky got sanctioned and I would definitely say Kaspersky before the sanction. Now I don't know how much their threat intelligence got affected by the sanction or whether that sanction still exists.

anything under their group (AVG) is shit.
decades ago i used their av, i think the last good is version 7/8 the rest is shit.

same with other av under their group like norman.

Just write your own modal mode. The concept is much simpler than these packages do. You need at least 2 states for "command" and "movement" (and maybe more if you like).
Here is the entire of my modal mode. 38 lines in total.

I was thinking about this for some time, renewable is a joke, nuclear is too expensive, hydro isn't available everywhere and cause problems with downstream countries
Oil and Gas as energy sources are
>Scalable
>Cheap and abundant
>The price of a power station is dirt cheap
>Less variables that can reduce the output
>Tech can be improved to reduce pollution
Other alternatives are just failing to meet one or most of these criteria
The US current attempt to change Venezuela gov is a public declaration that alternatives have mostly failed and at best just reduced the need for gas and oil by small margins

Now you are making solar sound even better. Every home needs to be able to put up enough vertical PV to supply its own power in winter, otherwise it's too cramped.

The price is the only worrying part. That and how much better than a 5090 will it be. I don't care about power consumption, no one does at that price point. I also wonder what they plan for the questionable power connector.

That's because Rust is an academic tier language that just happened to be practically useful. It will probably never be that widely used in the industry precisely because you can't hire infinite indians to do it. It will be only used to few critical parts of any large corporate system.

My favourite feature about the about the MX Master series of mice is not the side side scroll wheel but the automatic maglock on the primary scroll wheel. When you scroll slowly you get normal tactile steps but when you scroll fast the maglock automatically disengages and you get free rolling momentum scrolling.
It's very nice for scrolling through long documents like source code or 4chan pages.

Now you're starting to find out why I told you to check Device Manager to find out who the touchpad OEM is. Asus don't make the touchpad, some rando company (likely Synaptics, but it's not guaranteed) does.
Every laptop manufacturer gets the basic driver, brands it with their logos, adds (or removes) features to their tastes, then puts it up in the "Download drivers for Fagbook GAY-9000+" section of their website.
I, for example, had great success running the Twinkpad touchpad drivers on my Dell Latitude years back: both touchpads were made by Synaptics, but the "Lenovo" driver had more features/less disabled parts.
>>
>>107672212
I checked device manager and said in my last post that based on the hardware id provided it was a "focal tech" touchpad. But to be honest, could not find any driver for it. It was not synaptics nor elan, which seems to be a lot more supported.
