>>106499565that's just not reproducible binary, nothing to do with a source of a project. Some languages even have issues doing this.
>>106499573Software is open source only if it meets all OSI criteria, allows unrestricted modification/redistribution, and enables reproducible binaries for verification (per community standards like F-Droid). Grayjay violates OSI criteria with its proprietary license, restricts modification/distribution, and lacks reproducible binaries (resulting in different, unverifiable software). Therefore, Grayjay is proprietary software. It's controlled by a proprietary corporation (FUTO) that enforces restrictions. You keep repeating how "You can take the source" (no you can't because the actual Grayjay's source code is not available 1:1), "and change it in any way you want" (no you can't because proprietary corporation FUTO prevents you to do that), "You can learn from it as well" (impossible because the source code is not for the Grayjay, it is for some similar application that has different features) "That is open source" (false) "and the power of it." (it has zero power to be or do anything).

What are /g/ approved drawing tablet brands? Jewcom is overpriced, and Xencelabs is trying to be Jewcom v2.0. What do you think about XP-Pen and Huion?
>>106495329That was such a fucking weird mango.
just a tip for anyone actually thinking of getting a tablet, if you set up notifications you can find them for absolutely DIRT cheap used on ebay.sometimes they're practically brand new and some company just got one from amazon returns and is reselling it.i got a $600 tablet for $20 because the seller thought it was broken (he was plugging the cables in wrong so it didn't appear to work).you can gamble on like 20 "broken" tablets before you even approach the retail price of a new one.
>>106499472QRD?
>>106491806The real question is whether there's anything good for drawing on GNU/Linux. Krita exists but I literally don't see anyone using it at all on Windows, which implies that superior options exist.
>>106491806Unironically buy an iPad and apple pencil. It minimizes the barrier to drawing.XP-pen is fine but I only have experience with their non-screen tablets. Good value for money. Huion's okay
I want to program my own indie game without any spaghetti code, what books should I read for this? I already understand some of the basics like: functions, classes, variables, and callbacks but I don't know how to structure and plan out my code, so I always feel lost. I basically never know what the best course of action is. I also code in c# but I assume that's probably not relevant since I'm not asking for language specific advice.

DeepSeek is infinitely smarter than ChatGPT.ChatGPT is generic.I wrote a unique value proposition for my website but was struggling with explaining it. Small things such as words and formulations were important for clarity. I asked ChatGPT about improvements and spent 25 messages battling diminished quality and increased generality.I then asked DeepSeek if it understood what my service was going for by reading the text, and exactly why I wasn't really happy with it.I watched it reason and it then responded with "Yes, I understand EXACTLY what you are going for and your value proposition is unique!"It then proceeded with explaining it better than I, and gave me a much clearer text I could use.0% generality, 100% originality. I was in awe.If only it didn't have such shit fontface and UX, and if only it knew my native language a little bit better, it would mog ChatGPT up the ass.

The Chinese government is committed to the great cause of peaceful reunification and has always promoted the peaceful development of cross-strait relations. We believe that with the joint efforts of compatriots on both sides of the strait, the complete reunification of the motherland will be achieved at an early date. Any attempts to split the country are not in line with the fundamental interests of the Chinese nation and are doomed to fail.
