>>107781290there's a tool called afew. Needed some tinkering but not too much. Then they released WSL2, I started running it there. Configured YubiKey passthrough to sign my commits, all jazz. VS Code setup took like two clicks. Now on mac, working in Docker, running a language server, can use breakpoints and run individual specs like I'm a JS dev or something. VS Code just handles everything after some setup.

If you want to update your track, make a new post.Include the song title in the post, and make it clear that your song is a submission for the album.Optionally you may include cover art for your track, but please confirm that the image in your post is the cover art or it won't be included. You may not use your real artist name.Songs that contain anything against YouTube's policies won't be uploaded on YT, but will still be added to the album.By default, tracks will be normalised to -14 LUFS (integrated loudness) in the release. You may specify a lower loudness for your track.Use of AI is banned. This includes AI generated stems, samples, and effects. "AI" includes all neural network-based models and not hard-coded automation/procedural generation. What's the mindset behind wanting to be a trend chaser and wanting to be "mainstream"? If it's for money, then get a real job, and leave music for creating art, not a product.

How hard is it to create something like Neuro? I don't watch him but read he spends hundreds of hours working on her. What is there to work on and tweak? Isn't she an open source LLM? What does he have to work on?
>>107775284damn he used claude to make his own LLM that was released a year before claude? that's crazy, you have a scoop on your hands
>>107775823everyone knows how it works. there's no "scripted events", but yes it's a bunch of systems working together. that's painfully obvious to anyone who spends more than 1 second thinking about it. it doesn't make it "fake".
>>107775823> A chatbot with TTS, which can read what's on screen and pretend to be playing the game when all it's doing is watching the botand yet when people ask her to do something in the game she listens to them and does it. isn't that crazy
Unfortunately it's a winner takes it all kind of landscape. Even if you released something ten times better than Neuro tomorrow you wouldn't be able to compete with him and his retarded audience. Maybe with a completely different concept than an AI daughter, which was a low hanging fruit since you can pass its retardation as a feature.

After 10+ years using UAC without it ever saving me from malware (literally not even once did I have to click "No" for a prompt), I decided to disable it. I play lots of games and half of them ask for elevation on startup, which is annoying when I use a controller.Convince me on why this is a bad idea, or reassure me that it was a good idea.
>>107773951What happens there?
>>107773867>I play lots of games and half of them ask for elevation on startupStop installing games into Program Files.
>>107780522Where should I be installing them
Things like UAC and Sudo are security theater. They prevent you from getting admin permissions but think about it. What's the fucking point? All your data, all your browser cookies, browser passwords, all your bitcoin wallets are stored as normal files in your user profile folder. You can keylog and screen record without admin permissions. The security model on PCs is just: don't download viruses. If you follow this rule then you will be safe. If you don't follow the rule, then no amount of UAC, sudo, etc. is gonna save you.
>>107781103Make a directory called Games and install them there instead.

thoughts on fruit arrow?yeah yeah yeah zoomer this fake history that. I just want to talk about this aesthetic, particularly in software. I personally really like it.
