Long story short all the tutorials of programmers i watched online, never liked what I saw. They all look dead inside, depressed, robotic face and speech completely lacking emotions. And they are content creators-programmers. I wonder what real people who sit at the screen write instructions all day look like. One needs to sacrifice having a fun charismatic personality to be a coder right ? *John Carmack looks all right though. A bit nerdy but doesn't radiate sadness.
>>107803647Where do you even take tests?
>>107795161The people you watched probably don't even like programming, so many pseuds that are in just for the money in the industry, in content creators and even in this board at this point.Try watching actual hackers, I recommend you try watching tsoding (on twitch/youtube)
>>107805845tsoding is a hacker?whats his background?
>>107806011He is a hacker yes.

This is genuinely one of the worst phone have ever used and I got it for free. Stay away from google products. Sold it on ebay for nothing I dont even want it in my possession. >Dropped once with a rubber case, shitty back glass cracked even with it on>Overheats and lags when charging, when playing videos the back gets hot, screen dims>Feels like a phone from 2012 with its performance. Some of the worst performance I have seen on a smartphone in browsing load times and video playback>Snapdragon even fucking mediatek budget chips are faster and better than googles shitty tensor unoptimized chipJust stay away from pixels. They are garbage.

Why are AMD and Intel laptop CPUs all called AI now? What makes them special? Is it just Microsoft forcing OEMs to do it?

>>107805405It "writes" them by stealing from others.
>>107805405This is how the Internet will collapse in a few years, everything can already be generated by AI: images, stories, ads, videos, books, comments, posts, reviews etc. Anything digital can be a work of a bot running an LLM.

>try linux for the first time in 10 years>put linux mint 22.2 on USB key with rufus>boot>open GUI software manager from the start menu>write "steam" in the search bar, click on the install button>error message>try to uninstall a random software with "rightclick, uninstall" from the start menu (one of the libre office applications)>another error messageI eventually got steam working by using a flatpak, and I uninstalled successfully the same libre office app after rebooting. But both failed my tests on the first attempt. I noticed a lot of improvements since I tried linux 10 years ago but it's sad that it still feels like beta software nonetheless. And linux mint is supposed to be the most polished non-technical oriented user-friendly distro.
>>107804814Why would using a command line fix anything? A GUI is a just a front-end.
re-installing 22.1 since for some reason x11 is borked on 22.2 only Wayland works. Looking for other solution, Reinstall 22.1 was it. ..
>>107807019GUI frontends give you less info and are slower. Having more info is crucial if you're running into errors which might not even be "errors" but things like a package being part of a larger meapackage meaning you need to uninstall the metapackage itself not all of the individual pieces, or dependency bullshit because of how the distro you chose installed libreoffice for you.Better still is not going with an install that would put something like libreoffice on your PC for you in the first place. Go with Arch or Debian with no DE and install everything yourself and pay attention to dependencies. Then you'll know what's going on when you install libreoffice instead of having to google whatever the fuck Mint has did for you. Figuring out Linux is easy when you don't have to figure it out backwards from a bloated install's defaults.
I never understood why linux makes software installation so unnecessarily complicated.>download, install, runthat's how it should be, not whatever the fuck linux is doing
>>107801139linux only has one use case and it's not installing software. sorry, you're not the target demographic.
