not sure what 7 OUT means with realtek but it might be that it can shift to 7 frequency rates though the 8000/16000 wasn't listed (kernel issue) and it's adaptive to host. the mode shown in microphone I think is misleading since it should support above that I think 96/24 maximum worked on realtek and might be the reason the linux kernel is fucked when shifting between mic frequencies on an opened application like REW
with conexant it shows all the freq. rates so it should be better for most devices or more stable for use with applications but yeah the downside is the crossfeed.
