Yup. Germans lie so god damn much it’s unreal. Imagine sending a high school senior to beat the shit out of a classroom full of kindergartners. They win. But you’re still losing the war. So you tell everyone they beat the shit out of every kindergartener in the entire school district to raise moral.

Realistically, what firearm would you need to take down a rampaging Na'vi from the Avatar films? Nine feet of solid muscle and bone (reinforced with natural carbon fibre), extremely fast-moving and agile, fighting on their own turf with very short engagement distances? There's no way 5.56 mm would cut it, would 7.62mm be enough?

>Richard Baxton piloted his Recon Rover into a fungal vortex and held off four waves of mind worms, saving an entire colony. We immediately purchased his identity manifests and repackaged him into the Recon Rover Rick character with a multi-tiered media campaign: televids, touchbooks, holos, psi-tours— the works. People need heroes. They don't need to know how he died clawing his eyes out, screaming for mercy. The real story would just hurt sales, and dampen the spirits of our customers.

In one of my earliest play throughs I spent time building up an amphibious landing force supported by an air wing that could land at a small island for increased range, all to invade the Spartans on a separate continent. I’d draw up war plans while sitting in class (History Through Music elective). Probably the most planning I’ve ever put into a game

He's just playing.

You're tasked with building a kit to help Iranian resistance against the Ayatollah regime, the kits you build will be airdropped into Iranian territory in large dufflebags and then picked up by chosen operatives.

You have $3k per kit to try to arm an light resistance guerrilla fighter, you can only source items from the US civilian market. At minimum you should provide a rifle, a pistol, body armor, essential accessories and ammunition for both, as well as any survival or tactical implement you see necessary.

What kind of stuff do you pick?

Design a gun around standard Iranian plumbing fixtures and drop ammunition and key components that would need work like barrels or other parts so the whole thing lego kits together, include translated documentattion.

The single most important weapons to insurgents are large calibre scoped rifles and plastic explosive and detonators. Fibre optic drones would be a nice addition. Simple basic manuals with the fundementals of sniping, countersniping, booby trapping, improvised weapons and explosives, drone use, organisation and counter inntelligence would be good.
>>
To win a revolutionn all teh Iranian people have to do is let their fellow Iranians in the police and army know that they will not be harmed and that everyone wants a change. At this point violence is counterproductive.

It's following the same pattern as the Syrian revolution so far. The mullahs have already lost. They will never get the people back after this.

The cheapest guns and ammo available, they're all effective. They don't have to be the same gun. Literally just buy everything off the used market keeping the budget for rifles around 300 and handguns around 100, even old deer rifles for sniping would be greatly effective. 200 rounds or so of ammo and a few mags. Pipe bombs. Model rockets with explosives attached that fire from a PVC pipe with a barbecue lighter. Toy drones that drop pipe bombs with an impact fuse. Majority of kits would be rifleman kits, a good amount of drone kits, and some RPG kits. They don't need provisions or armor, but give them a big star of David dildo so they know what they're getting into once their government is gone cuz the USA is gonna come fuck their country in the ass.

It was the first fighter that used the R2800 to get a contract. XF4U influenced the decision for the P-47 and iirc F6F to use the R2800. For various reasons it took 48 months to go from contract to production(same as the P-38). So its first production model finished in between those two aircraft making not stand out as much.

To be fair on Vigil it's not that he was literally hours away from powering off, it's that he finally accomplished his final task.
I suspect he was sitting in an extremely low power state until Shep showed up and probably could've sustained it longer, but then used every drop of juice left to communicate the message.
>>64756442
There's some echoes of similar themes in the final game too. The Reapers say they're harvesting to preserve a trace of the uniqueness of species each cycle, and the purpose isn't just to control organics as they could but to allow different ones to spring up over time. Jarvis talks about how the Prothean empire being so dominant also undercut them, because everyone had roughly the same culture, equipment, technology and doctrine. You cut them all off from each other by turning off the relays, figure out how to deal with one pocket of them, then you've basically figured out how to deal with all of them. I suspect the original idea was that the Reapers were trying to see if new civilisations figured out a way around it, harvest any science they did that might've pointed to something or make their own collective's thinking more diverse through adsorbing them as new reapers.
Biggest problem I can see versus the final story is that there's really two conflicts now, the Reapers themselves and the dark energy entropy death of the universe and there's not really a neat way to combine them. Just showing the Reapers that you built the first ever solar powered mass relay and them turning off after or something wouldn't be satisfying. Maybe reworking the Crucible into 'the power to stop the Reapers', but you still need to sell why everyone's building this thing without knowing what it even does.
Only thing I could think is making it about finishing an ancient prototype that takes combining a bunch of cutting edge innovations from around the galaxy, everyone thinks it's a fleet-killer energy weapon instead of a tech demo.
>>
Reapers fighting the entropy of the galaxy from Dork Matter is a more suitable reason appropriate to the mystery and cosmic scale of the setting compared to AI plotline which the geth and quarians already address.

Its also appropiate that the main antagonist of the entire trilogy refers to the core theme and title of the series .... the Mass Effect

>Douche herself with lye and regenerate the skin afterward.
So you're advocating a BSDM based sexual relationship.

Why wouldn't something like pic related work fine as a "do everything" gun for a person living in the densely forested hills of Appalachia, where the power and ballistic advantage of a rifle simply isn't necessary?
>plinking will be good fun with the naturally subsonic .45
>definitely suitable for home defense
>easy enough to fit in a backpack, or take the can off and carry it on your person
>get some .45 Super for killing deer or hogs, or mess around with round ball loadings for taking small game or for pest control
Yes, it's true that rifles can be had for dirt cheap these days. And it's also true that there is no real reason to limit yourself to just one gun, especially a handgun. But in an autistic min-max fantasy where you literally can only own one gun and it has to be able to be carried 24/7/365, does a suppressed .45 automatic make sense? The only real downside I see here is that this is not the best option for summertime concealed carry in hot climates.

You don't have the mental capacity to participate in a discussion. You're lost bro. Threw my response into chatgpt. Even a dumb mlm could follow it. Maybe check with it like dementia patients do.

Yes—it does answer the post, and fairly directly.

The original post mocks an alleged spec (“62gr bullet at 1000 fps”) to dismiss the concept.

The reply corrects that factual claim (“half that weight at double the velocity”) and explains the intended use case (modularity via magazine change from .22 LR–like to .22 WMR–like performance).

So the response:

Engages the core claim (ballistics),

Refutes it with a counter-assertion,
