>Trying to step into higher feature optics is not what holosun was originally meant to accomplish.
Holosun sells more optics than Aimpoint, Trijicon, and Eotech on a yearly basis now after cornering the poorfag commercial and military markets. Surprisingly, a lot of people even at the govt. level feel spending ~$500-1000+ per unit for an unmagnified dot is a rip off.
It's not surprising to see them chase the high end market now, and honestly between this and the NV/IR sight they released, they're at least trying cooler ideas than any of the aforementioned companies (here's your 2nd/3rd gen $3000+ LPVO or $1500+ dot/3x, bro).

Outside of the retard rare/expensive L3Harris sights, the legacy companies like aimpoint, triji, eo, etc. haven't made a single interesting or cool thing for a decade or more now.
>>
>>64753300
Their NV / thermal sights are shit and get mogged by other Chinese brands. They're IMO getting too snobby as a result of their success and are turning into what the mainstream optic companies became.
Take away their full-time internet defense squad (Holosun_Josh and co) plus their influencers and they'd rapidly shrink in influence. A lot of people prop their fun decisions on what other people say. A lot of it is charades and shenanigans. Smoke and mirrors.
>>
>>64752876
It ain't surprising, the gun industry in general operates like fashion but for men.
>>
>>64753328
I don't entirely disagree.
I'm not trying to suck off Holosun as much as I am trying to shame the legacy companies for not innovating anymore. Holosun is not a particularly high quality product, but then again red dots aren't sophisticated tech anymore, either.
If the Chinks can come up with a relatively inexpensive NV/IR optic, even if it's just a shitty novelty, why can't AP or EO do something cool? Instead we get another $800 magnifier or vudu scope nobody will buy.

Obviously it will be far worse than a dedicated option, but this could suit some people. I'm sure alot of poorfags trying to get into night vision would buy it before eventually buying something better and more focused.
Its fucking hilarious how we circle back around though. I remember the shitty 2000s guns and and all the ebay scopes with lasers and stuff attached to them like this.

>sure we compared it to watered down .40 and .45 with bad bullet design that we used because it let women and manlets qualify...but but its better it is!
Idk why the FBI is the basis for peoples choice in personal defensive weapons when their criteria is letting female detectives not limp wrist jam glawks in the incredibly rare shootouts they have, but be my guest i suppose

I'll never cease to be amused about fuddyfive autismo's endless seethe over 9mm superiority and dominance. It's simply the best general handgun cartridge ever made. Nothing wrong with min/maxing for specific things you care about or your specific niche needs, nor with "I just like the feel of that other one more", but 9mm is the standard for good reason. Never had a single problem with anything I've ordered from LaRue except once I got a replacement handguard nut that was poorly and unevenly anodized - they replaced it instantly for free after I emailed them a photo. Their QD levers are the industry standard and their stealth barrels, while not chrome lined, are extremely accurate. IMO their scope mounts are bit dated in the big 2 6, but still very good. If you're running a top/offset dot with your scope I think you're better off with the Badger mounts. Plus Mark's boomer instagram timeline is S tier, you should support it.

The ziggers have come up with another brilliant plan to counter drones, walking tents! Guessing mostly for night ops to reduce thermal signature? Because these are definitely not good for day time at least. Though it'd be hilarious to see them try assaulting with these fucking things on. What will the ziggers dream up next to deal with thermal cams?

There's a ton of resources out there. Just wait until you hear about how doctrinal differences inform different kit between NATO-aligned and Warsaw Pact based forces even today.
While both sides have long range stationary installations and manpads that can be carried in the back of a truck, Soviet and now Russian forces have a lot more AA assets designed to provide an 'organic' capability to a unit. The iconic example of this is a Tunguska or Shilka, where a tank chassis has the turret replaced with AAA guns, a fire control radar and sometimes some short range IR missiles. Western forces largely gave up on those because past a point, the expectation became that if you're the US, Australia, Germany, whoever else, you own the sky before putting any of your people somewhere. It's the job of your air power to create a permissive environment to operate in.
Soviet style planning instead acknowledged that they were unlikely to be able to seriously contest air supremacy in the long game and tried to make assets that were instead survivable when operating below contested airspace. Hence a vehicle like a Tunguska intended to be able to be integrated into a tank or mechanised column to provide some measure of air defence deterrent baked-in.
The western answer is that either the USAF is already interdicting 30 miles behind the enemy or the nearest CSG is flying CAP with a hundred hornets and a hundred more hornets to keep you safe.
Even before you get to how tools are actually employed, both your own doctrine and how that's formed and altered in response to the enemy informs what's designed and purchased.
>>
>>64749281
>And these will change that
To be fair, so did the FPV-drone
>>

>>
>>64752904
>880,000 dog attacks
that's a lot of pitbulls
>>
>>64752904
Threadly reminder that you can feed shitbulls 0.5g per kg of body weight of xylitol and most will drop dead in a few days. Median weight 30kg shitbull, 15g of xylitol. "XL Bully" 90kg "shitbull mix", 45g of xylitol.

Xylitol is a sugar substitute that is safe for humans (and also kitties!) but lethal to dogs. It is widely available in granular form in health-food stores. (IOW, no, you don't need to feed the dog ten packs of chewing gum.) Just mix it into a doggie treat like sausage or cheese balls.

Xylitol has two separate modes of lethality in dogs: first, the chance of putting the dog into a hypoglycemic coma (within hours), second, liver failure (within days). The above doses are the LD50 (meaning half will die from it) to cause liver failure; the hypoglycemic coma dosage is only 20% of the above. There is no antidote, but it can be treated if caught early, and only about half of dogs will die from a LD50 dose (by definition). The two different modes make it very likely to kill a dog with this dose.

Avoid getting caught on video or making it obvious that you're the prime suspect by complaining constantly ahead of time.

Good way to rid your neighborhood of dangerous dogs.

Common counter-suggestions and why they aren't as good:
>just shoot it!
* police investigate gunshot wounds/deaths
* dangerous to bystanders in suburban or urban neighborhoods

So their safety is the one at the forward trigger, so there are 2 triggers and there can be 2 safeties. The way the conversion kit I have is there is a drop in single stage drop in trigger in the back that the linkage interfaces. i would need to swap that out with a similar signal stage 3-3.5 lbs flat face trigger that could be used for a super safety, in other words the SD3G. While I didnt install the second safety, you can still I stall a safety in the back of you wanted to have 2 safeties and remove the covers over the location to access it I'm 99% I could make it work

>Oh noes! We've been tricked by the devious americans into making plates that withstand all of the spiciest ammo under 8mm! How can we recover from this?
I think the issue is that overweight plates sap "weight budget" that could either go to other equipment or, preferably, just be freed up so your dudes are more mobile.
If the Chinese want to make plates that no-sell 6.8 XM1184, they could just call up Shandong Yasai, throw them a couple bones and they'll be manufacturing TiB2-SiC beefy boys all day that'll mog that BR5+ Granit. Obviously it'll take time to spin a larger scale production line up, but if they need it done it'll be done.
They don't because 7.5-8lb plates, coupled with Chinese soldiers being smaller on average, are less ergonomic than 5.5-6lb plates. Also, you'd maybe want to look into adding more soft armor before going all-out on plates given the issue of frag threats.
