Stamboulieh Law makes weekly videos on all the latest lawfare:
https://youtube.com/@2alaw

You've heard of FRTs, but what's a "super safety"?
>uses the safety to force the reset of the trigger
>allows for way more trigger options (you just have to trim two places)
>invented by Tim Hoffman (https://hoffmantactical.com)
>gifted to the world to freely 3D print
>enterprising people now selling super safeties made of steel (recommend at least 4140)
>cheaper than an FRT ($90-$150)
>originally a 3-position cross-bolt safety
>left is safe, right is semi, middle is super
>3-position 90° super safety selectors are now available

Should I be going with a Leber or ASD lower on an MP5? I'm inclined to think ASD is better, if only because milled aluminum will last longer than a 3d print.
>>
>>64751067
from my understanding, the 3d printed lowers, implying you get them from a good place also last a long time. I personally when the ASD route because I wanted aluminum but I would've been fine with a 3d print too

Please note that one advantage of leber lowers is availability. ASD lowers while good, takes a crazy amount of time to be made and shipped, but it is a one of a kind product that's backed with good CS and is designed by the guy who made the leber in the first place.

target rich environment, and being kept on the front line for 4 years straight

Hartmann's true skill was survival, he didn't stick around to die if the initial pass didn't go well. He also got shot down a couple of times (total of 16 crashes to all causes, go figure how many were credited as kills to some russian) so his true k/d is lower.
>>64751027
the americans pulled aces off the front to go teach new guys, the germans just kept them flying till they died. naturally a bunch of good pilots managed to survive for a long time and rack up insane kill counts, at the expense of a lot of noobs getting pasted

>the americans pulled aces off the front to go teach new guys, the germans just kept them flying till they died
half true
Allied aces were kept in flight squadrons and remained operationally active, check out how many of the top Allied aces were KIA or POW
they did fly less however and they did spend more time teaching

what really mattered is the Allies emphasised teamwork tactics e.g. the Thach Weave, whereas the Luftwaffe tended to let rookies die and let the aces rack up kills
>>
He was just good at attacking rookies in a methodical manner while not getting into a peer fight or worse, a non-peer fight against him.

If we still fought wars where each side made thousands of fighters per year and threw them at each other then you'd see lots of pilots with his kill record.

I just got a high paying job and in celebration I'm going to update my arsenal. Pls give input on my choices for these roles and let me know if there's something better:

>Ruger SFAR as main DMR rifle, open to other short receiver .308 ARs or a .308 bullpup
>M&P9 or 10mm Witness as handgun, I do live in grizzly country and this will be my primary HD/clearing gun
>Kel Tec RDB as building clearing/HD rifle
>KSG as HD shotgun
>Mossberg Aftershock as drone gun to be worn on a scabbard, can also double as bear gun with slugs
>300WM rifle as sniper (undecided but either a cheapo Savage bolty or go all in and get a Desert Tech SRS for $6k)

Already have my carry guns set and most of the common rifles for range funs but want specific ones that best fill those roles. What are your go-to's?

How poor is this board? It's 6 fucking guns. I also am moving from a ban state to a free state so even more reason. I'm swapping out a few old ones for the new ones too, I don't think I'll own more than 10 guns total so they might as well be nice. But I mean like, there's Kel Tecs in there so some are obviously gonna just be there as toys.
>>
>>64750963
>building clearing
>sniper
>drone gun in a scabbard
Wut. Kinda hilarious larp. Don’t get me wrong, I love larping a little. I’m innawoods 99% more than the suburban slobs on this board, and that’s with a yuppie corporate job, but Your uses are kinda funny to me. The SRS is the only really interesting one, the rest are kinda cheap guns.

>for grizz
Ruger SRH. If you wanna nice semi-custom version, Wild West customs “wolverine” is really nice. Can shoot .454 Casull, .45 colt, and .45acp with moon clips. So fuck-off grizz repellant, to relatively cheap plinking and everywhere in between.

>building clearing
For a tactical carbine to maximize your exercise of your 2a rights, the world’s your oyster, there’s so much out there. If I had to do it over again, I’d probably go for the XCR-L. Their caliber conversions exist, the gun is accurate, reliable, ergonomic, modular, and everyone who owns one seems to just plain love it.

>shotgun
Fuck drones, clay shooting is some of the most fun you can have behind a trigger. Goose hunting too. Get a Benelli super black eagle or Ethis or a Beretta O/U or Miroku/Browning Citori and be happy.

Do you actually like it? The two people I know who bought one decided to just leave it in their safes. One got a Mossberg 590, and the other got a Benelli M4, and now they both don't even look at the KSG.

Limp writing is mostly improper grip that is too low or off to the side. Proper hand placement is what matters.

Try 2 finger firing drills where you hold and fire the pistol with only your thumb and forefinger.

Semi off topic but after shooting striker fired guns for around 20 years almost exclusively, I got into revolvers. After a couple months getting used to DAO shooting with a j frame sized revolver, I practically feel like I'm cheating even with a bog standard glock 19. I've also come to the conclusion that trigger snobs are just making excuses for not being able to shoot.

Random unprompted rant: Despite the persistent perception that all German tanks were over engineered and overpriced, Panzer IVs were on average slightly cheaper than average Shermans and T-34s.

But yeah, while they were better in a few aspects, they were a lot more difficult to maintain Shermans, but still FAR more reliable than T-34s which (like Panthers) were trash in practical reality despite looking impressive on the spec sheets. The whole "over engineered and overpriced" is absolutely true if you compare tanks in completely different classes, apples and oranges, etc.
Tigers-1 cost 4 or 5 times as much as regular medium tanks, and Tiger-2s were twice the price of Tiger-1s.

When i got laid off from my cushy tech job they gave me a big fuckin blanket of a severance package, cashed out all my vacation hours, gave a lump sum of estimated medical benefits charges, all that stuff.
I used that to keep stable for about a year and find another job, get a new apartment, and buy some things i needed to buy.
My absolute last 700 dollars from that pile of cash was used on this cool lil guy.

The best part is that i've been looking for a beretta compact forever but didn't like that only Landberg Tactickstein has them in their most basic configuration. By swapping the slide and barrel it removes most of the LTT branding except for the serial number starting with LTT.
