What tools for self defense would you recommend for someone in Europe to have when shit goes down. There are black powder revolvers shotguns and rifles, but you can't buy them everywhere in Europe. There are crossbows and bows but what is really their capacity to defend, and of course air rifles, in some countries they are unrestricted in some countries they are cucked and they are a hassle to have around in the case of an emergency. Better yet what should everybody own, not just weapons, in case they want to survive more than 72 hours.

First of all, the EU is just one country in reality. There aren't any sort of customs, so you can buy anything from other EU states. For example, crossbows are illegal in Spain, but I can just order one online in France and they will deliver It to my house.

the best way to prepare for any unforeseen catastrophe scenario is getting away from non whites while you can.
hurricanes come and go, invading armies look for valuable military targets, but looting joggers always go after the most helpless people and brutalize them without mercy and consume everything until there's nothing left like a fucking virus. your guns worth horseshit when you're up against the whole of downtown chimpcongo, because they'll eventually overpower you, steal your shit and kill you, because your white skin is a target that says "I have valuable stuff, come and kill me".
move to a homogenous white community, make friends, participate in social events, make yourself useful and prove that you're a reliable guy, so when shit really hits the fan, you don't have to face it alone and you'll have the support of your community. have a special skill that makes you an essential member of the group, learn to weld and learn to mend wounds, so when it comes to sharing resources they'll prioritize you. this is how you prepare for the worst.

Reloading general
My press after sizing/depriming/cleaning primer pockets of over 6,000 pieces of .45 Auto brass.
My die is an undersized die from EGW. They have Lee custom make dies .003" undersized to eliminate Glock bulge on brass. With my RCBS dies I had some rounds not fit in a match chamber.

That's a bummer. When I first started reloading, I was recently divorced and living alone, so I bolted my new press and powder drop to my living room table and kept all the components and boxes underneath. Picrel was literally me
>>
>>64759095
a couple years back an anon posted here about his experiences reloading 5.7, it was a total pain in the ass. Tumbling the cases removes the factory polymer coating and makes them fail to extract or feed, and the powder load is so small that tiny variations cause large velocity spreads. I think he squished a few cases seating the bullets too, but that's a more common problem. Personally I quit reloading 32 auto because the cases were too small, they're fumbly. Maybe a tiny half-sized press would make it easier to reload tiny cartridges, but obviously nobody makes one.

It's not appreciably better than 5.56 or .300blk for these purposes. Drywall and 2x4's don't stop bullets (or shotgun pellets, barring birdshot) appreciably, anyway. At least with .300 you could handload some meme subsonic soft-point load with commercially available .308 bullets and brass that you can probably get for free.

Is there a reason they have never dabbled in solar assistance? Quite a few optics out there use solar panels to supplement battery power. "Fiber optic EoTech" has a cool buzz to it.
>>
>>64762424
The reason Eotech has a shorter battery life is because it needs a higher powered laser to work
>>
>>64761441
>>64761490
The magic trick is that the point of aim is extremely tiny, but it looks bigger than it truthfully is at 1x magnification because our eyes have trouble perceiving very small points of light. Everything gets magnified under the magnifier, but our perception of the point of aim's size doesn't change much at all because we were perceiving it at too large of a size when at 1x.
>>
>>64761595
You've obviously never used an eotech with a magnifier. It enlarges under magnification, but it doesn't appear to enlarge because the dot's size at 1x is an illusion and it's actually smaller than it looks.
>>
>>64762424
>Is there a reason they have never dabbled in solar assistance?
Laziness and lack of incentive.
All the legacy optic companies (aimpoint, eotech, trijicon) have not had any decent, original, or cool ideas for like 15 years now.
They just repackage the same basic legacy dot/holo/prism they've been making for 20+ years in a new model with more battery life and still charge you $700+.
The Changs make a bunch of gimmicky air-soft quality shit, but to their credit at least they try to be original.

Optic market has been mind numbingly boring for a decade now.

Depends on what you want to shoot down, how fast and at which distance.
If you want to swat missile spam out of the air then several lasers summing to a few megawatts might be needed. Even more for a ballistic missile shield.

With forward tube ejection and downward ejection, you run into issues when the gun malfunctions and you don't have an election port to clear it. With DT's system, you could remove the forward election mechanism and clear it. You'd actually end up with a very wide election area, more than a standard election port because the mechanism covered a wide area. It was even better on their prototype, where it latched down easily like an election port cover, so it couldn't get lost and could easily be slapped back on.

They gave up on it because they listened to demands of dumb consumers who didn't see the benefit, because they have no actual experience and don't know what building clearing tactics are so they always shoot with the same hand. If they had some thay work, and it's clearly a cheap little thing to make, just send any user that complains a free one (within reason) until they get a good one. Eventually when they get all the kinks worked out they'll have to send less out. It was a bad decision to get rid of one of the best and innovative things about that rifle. The wlvrn version makes up for that by being reportedly very reliable and accurate. They finally got it right, but without one of the best features which they only dropped to appease a dumb market. It should still be an option for those that want it.
>>
>>64762138
>They gave up on it because they listened to demands of dumb consumers who didn't see the benefit
Anon, I own an FE MDRX. The first one I got from them broke after a single shot and had to be sent back to DT for repair. Which to their credit they had gold standard perfect warranty support on, they paid shipping both days, they did it in a couple of weeks despite it being xmas/new years holiday season, but still that stung. And even afterwards it choked and had cartridges jam in it pretty easily. Yes, it wasn't a big deal to pop the plate and free it but it was still irritating vs the SE which always works. It was significant weight too.

From talking with other owners FE problems affected a big percentage of customers. Not everyone, plenty had it work perfectly, but lots didn't. Nobody had any problem with the concept and benefits anon, the problem was just that DT was never ever able to manufacture them with enough consistency. And MDRX was already v2, and then got tons of iteration afterwards. They had SEVEN YEARS to get it worked out anon, and they never seemed to quite be able to get it.

So I don't agree with you on "appease a dumb market", people like cool stuff and stuck with the MDR through a long period of refinement, but at some point you want your $2500 rifle to like, actually run through more than 10 rounds reliably?
>>
>>64762183
Didn't they create a new generation and call it the WLRVN now? I don't know what the major differences are but usually a company sticking with a concept bodes well for its reliability.
>>
>>64761591
is it a normal AR bolt or some proprietary shit?
if it's proprietary, design it to be reversible.
>>
>>64762258
Yeah, that's essentially MDRv3 (MDRX was v2). They made a lot of changes during each version though as well, mostly improvements though in some cases like the ejection system (though smaller) it was more "giving up on a cool feature because it's too hard for us to do consistently" like the wing charging handles, they swapped that to a much simpler fixed set that was also sturdier. WLVRN has some of its own changes too but to some extent also just finally iterated the major version to put a line under all the MDRX stuff because it was getting to the point of being hard to figure out what you were buying unless it was brand new.

And the concept itself isn't bad, it's definitely comfortable and ergonomic with some niceties. But there were a bunch of stupid choices too as well as struggles with manufacturing, and yeah in fairness tons of military rifles have gone through massive teething troubles over the decades and taken quite a few revisions to get fully solid but of course those were backed by military budgets too not a small private niche.

Also, hurry up and fucking wait, applicant. Go see a recruiter right now or suffer waiting even longer.
Air Force is selective on who gets in and on top of that, there is a backlog of applicants still from last year waiting to go to basic training. The sooner you see a recruiter, the sooner you can start the process of waiting.
And make sure you go on a day off because answering all the pre-screening questions and doing the initial documentation takes atleast 3-4 hours.
