That aside it's funny to see the delusion related to diesel electric hybrid tanks when it's a topic that has serious discussion from the technical PoV but you can't see here given the flood of retardation. Thinking electric/diesel electric didn't improve since the Char 2B or Porche Tiger is comical. Especially when people wastes time with APUs because it's impossible to design a simple turbodiesel/gas turbine efficient at idling.

Sorks wanted a plane in service by 2027 and not 2037. Keep in mind that their aviation industry is doing a lot of things for the first time with this project, and gunning for a full slate of giganigga pingpong chingchong quantum stealth features from the outset would balloon costs immensely. Presumably it's better in their minds to settle for halfway measures and have something with a reasonable unit cost flying in the next few years than to have some indigestibly expensive vaporware that'll never leave the drawing board. I suspect that if they ever get around to making the IWB version, it'll have about as much in common with the current iteration as the F-35A does with the B. Anyways, assuming its RCS and kinematic performance is comparable to that of the Super Hornet (given that they have the same engines), it's still gud 'nuff to rape the shit out of anything the Norks can put in the air.

Why so mad about what your own govt say ?
Per GAO. F-35 didn't reached initial program goals. It will never deliver what was promised. It cost fart more than expected. The first block (Block 4) which was supposed to provide full capability is not expected to be delivered until 2031 according to the GAO (most likely 2032 according to the Air Force). The US dod stopped accepting delivery for almost 2 years because the planes being delivered did not works. Remember the F-35 wasn't virtualized from the start and that's why they can't deliver the Block-4 so far. It is also not very modular and upgrading older airframes to the Block 4 will pose big problems, because newly built airframes for the standard Block 4 internal architecture will change.
Lots of fun ahead for F-35 buyers. No wonder the US dod cut by half F-35 orders and is rushing loyal wingman and 6th gen fighters.

1200 (One Thousand Two Hundred) delivered and counting little yellow boy. TR-3 is already fully sorted out. So what if they aren't going to be even more capable than they already are over every other plane by Block 4?

Better steel? That would still be a barbarian influence, technically. More use of cavalry? Also a barbarian influence.

Cavalry received the benefit of longer reach after their lances broke or fell.
Battles were fought differently due to enemies using more mobile tactics and strategies so a longer sword was more useful since formations were looser.

America wasn't at war with North Vietnam
>>

??? The US left South Vietnam in a normal manner and South Vietnam existed for years before North Vietnam actually took it over. North Vietnam waited that long because they were scared the US would restart the war if they took over so soon. What are you talking about?
>>
>>64392516
In the US's case, they won the war and lost the peace. The US has proven very adept at kicking ass on the battlefield and failing to capitalize on it, rendering the entire exercise futile.

Aside from they look fucking cool, the appeal is that they reliably fire rounds with a lot of stopping power, and require minimal maintenance or effort from a shooter. If you are not lazy, care about guns as a hobby, and have certain technical skills, they probably aren't going to be your favorite. But for a lot of people, something they can stick in a pocket or sock drawer and not think about 80% of the time is ideal. They just work. A heavy DA trigger pull can mean poor accuracy from a novice, but most people that EDC a revolver are working with a snub that they would hypothetically unload on someone within five feet of their person, so it just isn't a big deal.
>>
>choose
For what (purpose)?
Handguns can be utilized for many different roles and tasks.
Revolvers remain excellent contemporary choices for hunting, most types of target shooting, and self defense (both home and carry)
In the self defense and urban combat role, they've been largely superseded by more modern higher-magazine-capacity semiauto pistols; but some dedicated capable and trained shooters still rely on revolvers for self defense carry due to their reliability, light weight and concealability (especially in smaller caliber chamberings)
As noted above, for some users especially people with weak hands the revolver can be easier to manipulate, reload and deploy than a slide-semiauto pistol.

Simple answer; I avoid urban warfare areas. My odds of needing a gun are slim and odds of needing more than 6 rounds extremely slim. So a snubbie checks all the boxes short of those < .01%

I assume the arrow is pointing out the lack of grip texturing between the front strap and back strap. Smith does it on some of their other guns as well.

REAL hot take but less texturing there means it abrades your skin/clothing less when carrying it. I know its just a troll pic from some noguns, but still.

The only "personal flair" I have are any assembly modifications for left-handed configuration such as having the gun dealer reassemble my Beretta 92X Centurion when I got hold of it to have the mag release on the other side for my left thumb.
Any other flair I can image would be more towards making sure I don't misplace the equipment and can spot it easily such as florescent orange ribbons.

>The full-color U.S. flag cloth replica is worn so that the star field faces forward, or to the flag’s own right. When
worn in this manner, the flag is facing to the observer’s right, and gives the effect of the flag flying in the breeze as the
wearer moves forward. The appropriate replica for the right shoulder sleeve is identified as the reverse side flag.
