Why is Russia so incompetent when it comes to dangerous substances and making sure they don't leak? This shit happened at Mayak, it happened at Aralsk, and by the latest news it seems to be happening again.

Even with the chernobyl fuckup, nuclear has a better track record than wind and solar when it comes to lives lost per gigawatt hour. It's like air travel. Everyone freaks the fuck out about the plane falling out of the sky when they're more likely to get killed by some drunk driver on the drive to the airport. Dying by radiation poisoning is scary, falling off a wind turbine or someone's rooftop is boring.

/frtssg/ - Forced Reset Trigger & Super Safety General

Previous:>>64899646

What are FRTs:
Forced Reset Triggers (FRTs) are firearm modifications that allow semi-automatic rifles to fire more rapidly by automatically resetting the trigger after each shot, while still requiring a trigger pull for each round. They increase the rate of fire without converting the firearm into a fully automatic weapon.

AR-15 is the most ubiquitous platform with the most amount of options. Other platforms have other nuances.

Atrius has their own battle going on. I think Partisan is the only one that's going at this lawsuit correctly; they are forcing a reexam of one of the core patents in an attempt to invalidate it.

Hoffman's lawyers are just kinda flailing around and saying "nuh-uhhhh!" when they ought to be trying to kill the 748 patent (which I think is the one Partisan is attacking). The next best thing would be to ask for a stay until the reexam of 748 is completed, which is an iffy thing to be granted since they aren't parties to the reexam, but with all the cases just being ordered to be consolidated into a single jurisdiction, that still may be a possibility.

The 247 patent is not literally infringed; RB will have to ask for one of the key limitations to be "interpreted" in their favor, or to be tossed in under Doctrine of Equivalents -- the one about not catching the disconnector hook (Super Safety catches but then releases it). Both are stretches, IMHO, especially since that patent discusses holding against the disconnector, not the trigger.

The really old method patent, 723, expired around September 25, 2025, and Rare Breed was enjoined from selling their product during most of the relevant period (they were stuck under an injunction from the NYC lawsuit, looks like it was lifted on May 16, 2025, so they were only allowed to sell product for four months of its validity, and it's arguable that they can only collect damages on products sold during those four months since the rest of the time didn't economically harm them).

The only one that can seriously fuck Hoffman is the 748 patent. His attorneys really need to get tied in to that reexamination.

Having a problem with an ARC fire MP5 setup. Pre-built ASD lower on an MKE AP5-P. The ARC setting worked great for about half a magazine, then started behaving exactly like normal semi. I field stripped the gun, everything looked normal, so I reassembled. Got a shorter string of ARC shots and then back to semi. Not sure what’s happening. The selector movement feels sloppy, but no reliability problems are occurring or anything. I saw someone online claim that you have to use loctite and a bunch of force on the ambi selector screws. That seems like a risky move that could totally brick the lower if you get it slightly wrong, the loctite seizes, and then the screw heads strip out when you attempt disassembly. Any thoughts?
>>
>>65053861
if you have the earlier versions of the lower, people reported issues with the ejector or something, could be that?

No. I don't have a cock, because I'm a woman.
Now, if I did have a cock, which I don't, because I am, a woman, I would not carry a service weapon like that. It's not wise to aim a weapon at your cock, so I have no reason to ever tuck, either a weapon or a cock, because I don't have one. I have a weapon. A firearm. Not a weapon in the sense of this is for shooting this is for fun weapon. A metaphor. For cock.
Because I am a woman. Women don't have a cock. I've never had a cock.
Because, I am, a woman. So you know. So you've heard. So you've learned.
Maybe you've done it. Because you were careless about the cock. Many don't care about the cock. Some want the cock gone. Maybe they would tuck. I mean carry.
Did you carry that load? I didn't. Because I don't have a cock.
Never had a cock.
Only a weapon. It wasn't for fun.

they got extremely close to fucking over the houthis in 2018 by taking Hodeidah which is THE crucial port for the houthis but the UN intervened over fears of mass starvation. the anti houthi forces were then a splintered mess until the end of last year when the STC got BTFO.
the thing about yemen is that ignoring the shitshow that is the anti houthi side there's been a truce mostly in place since 2022. we don't really know if the houthis are truly strong or a paper tiger a la assad in syria by the end, because the saudis have been unwilling to commit to trying to wipe them out after the mess the last time around turned into

>The nuclear environment complicates military police operations by impacting significantly on the functions of circulation and straggler control. The dispersal of friendly forces requires military police units to provide support over extended distances, usually without personnel or equipment augmentation.

>Straggler control will require increased emphasis on the nuclear battlefield. Shock, disorientation, and loss of command and control dictate the implementation of an orderly, purposeful, and effective system for assembling widely dispersed personnel so that they can be returned to their units, transported to medical facilities, or reorganized into new and cohesive elements.

>The maneuver commander should consider reinforcing the military police effort involved in straggler control to assist them in handling and
processing the large numbers of stragglers anticipated in a nuclear conflict.
>>
>>65053118
"under honorable circumstances" is a very broad category, and the details of your discharge may involve the loss of any number of veteran's benefits. It more means that you took your licks without throwing a fit. You signed your papers, they didn't have to physically drag you to your hearing, throw you in a cell because you wouldn't show up for extra duty, and escort you off post in a police car the moment they had your DD-214.

Stirrups had spread absolutely everywhere after the avars started fighting the romans, several centuries before the mongols wee anything other than an irrelevant collection of retarded nomands.

Steppe nomads in general were good at what they did because they were hyper specialized, they ALL rode, all the time, for every single task. This makes them good at.... riding horses. They also culturally practiced ethnogenisis, and this allowed them to absorb foreign fighters who could fill in the gaps without much difficulty. Their equipment was largely irrelevant, if you armed them like knights, arabs, or Japanese cavalry, nothing would change in the big picture. They'd still be unequalled cavalry men and completely useless on foot/dog shit at attacking fortifications.

when will someone make RF3 titanium foot combat armor? it could be done.
this armor is steel and titanium is half the weight. obviously it would need to be thicker to stop bullets but i think it could be done.
foot combat armor is the best to copy because it's true full plate, not a single gap anywhere.
the helmet would need to be a bit more modern,
maybe it could have integrated CBRN as well.
