Automatics are superior to revolvers due to their high capacity and quick reload, but the average person is not anticipating a prolonged gunfight. A snub nose revolver is more practical considering the most likely usage will be when cornered by a single attacker up close, and the person drawing and firing it could be so full of adrenaline that they don’t have all their fine motor skills and are at risk of limpwristing the pistol or forgetting to remove a manual safety. Plus a revolver can have its barrel pressed up against something and still be fired, unlike with automatics, as the slide could go into battery and render the gun unfireable.

>>64638167>Much like the effectiveness of infantry deployable anti armor weaponry, from missile launchers to drones, have made tanks obsoleteTanks have been able to be defeated by handheld infantry weapons since just about the time they started showing up on battlefields, and they've somehow kept going until now. There's even a quite notable war going on where both sides are scrambling to get as many of these "obsolete" weapons as they can. Obsolete means it's no longer used because something else supplanted it in its role or made the function of the thing no longer required, and a hovering missile launcher is hard to replace.
>>64638200Couldn’t disagree more. These vehicles have accomplished very little in the Ukraine conflict. They are deathtraps that get removed from the board basically immediately. Just because they want to deploy them still doesn’t mean they ain’t in their twilight years. Like battleships in WWII.

>>64637181> ESAPIs of any revision are not worth 1.2k+ "street" a set.I'd take them over any "TAC-11", "NP Aerospace", or "Tyr Tactical" plates, and all of those scammers want way more than $1200/set
>>64637605At least with those you don't have to gamble on plate condition since the last time inspection was done. A new pair of Adept Collosi plates is $1,280 and while far less tested or proven than REV. J ESAPI, delivers much more stout performance in a standalone package.Realistically the G. or J. ESAPIs should be $600-700 a set, XSAPI maybe $900. You have to source good soft armor and that only adds to the cost.

I see a lot of load out threads, but not many 'worst case best case' onesSay your country had a serious break down of law and order, society hasn't quite collaped yet, things might get better, but in the meantime things are pretty lawless and if you had to defend yourself the police won't be asking any questions afterwards. What's the minimum level of weaponry you'd accept in order to defend yourself, family and property? What's a mid tier, and what's the best possible case? Keeping in with what you could realistically own prior to the current unrest.I'm in the UK so worst case>I have a double barrel shotgun and some bird shot, still more than a lot of people would have>mid tier I have a decent pump/semi auto shotgun with buck shot or slugs, or a .22 semi auto or both>I have a bolt action rifle in a powerful caliber with enough ammo, plus some sort of cap and ball revolver/ semi auto .22 or shotgun. The main thing being I can shoot both at range and close quarters effectively
>>64637313Well there are lots of good Muslims in the UK and I hate the rise of the far right targeting them, hopefully they defend themselves and learn to fight back
>>64637386No such thing as a good muslim. They'll pick their people over yours. Idiot. They're only "good ones" because we still have our own rule of law even if barely
>>64637415Yes there are tons of great Muslims and most are normal people who just want to make money contribute and just get on with their lives without nativism and right wing hatred
>>64637596Don't be ridiculous. The idea that any significant proportion of the Muslim migrants to this country want to integrate is blind fantasy. Anyone who's been to Birmingham, Manchester or the East End could tell you that. The cultural differences between Britons and your average Paki, Arab or Sub-Saharan invader are even starker than the difference in skin tone.

>>64637889Was talking to some EU bros and it’s pretty fucked you can’t even camp in the woods there.
>>64637891Its important to realize that people will put up with just about anything, and if we don't want it to get that bad here we have to actively fight it. Bitching online does not count. CCFR should be holding protests where 200 guys shoot prohibs at the range together and nobody gets arrested. Set the standard that we won't put up with unjust laws. Instead we're setting the standard that gov can do whatever they like and we'll just wait around until we die.I'll say it again, if they tried confiscating or banning vehicles like they did with firearms, the whole world would lose their minds about it. Personal property is personal property and you can only keep what you're willing to defend.

>>64637883>Where was the furthest target?Tehran, capital of Iran, whose emblem lies on the compost boxes, is situated 1550 km away from Tel-Aviv.There are quite a lot of things between the two, including iranian air defense which, while patheticaly impotent against modern jets, should be able to locate drones flying circles at high altitude while emitting radio signal.

This happened today, apparently.China is accelerating the flight rest schedule by building multiple prototypes and flying them at the same time to get as much testing data as possible. This flight in formation could be for testing its combat flight capabilities, as it will most likely be deployed in pairs and with CCAs in a group.
>>64638126That's why they are building multiple planes to accelerate testing.
>>64638147That's great. Then we agree. Anyone else who says that it's combat operational or in production can do kick rocks.
>>64638162It likely wont be taking too long tho. Nobody claimed that it is in combat operations anyway. With this accelerated flight schedule, especially with another prototypes spotted in China's Area 51 base in Xinjiang, it could very well reach IOC in 2028
>>64638176>2028Yeah right, fuck you too.Shenyang's attempt is even less implessive than what Chengdu has accomplished. It flies less, and when it does, it barely stays in the air or has even been seen turning. It doesn't show anything except that Shenyang is behind Chengdu as always.

Back in 1905 when they were still based in Addis Abeba the legionnaires didnt only have to scrub their own toilets on base, they literally had to clean the city sewers for the mudslimes. "In the Foreign Legion" by Erwin Rosen, from 1905. In the common domain, downloadable on gutenberg.org and other sites. It is a fucking grim read. And that was years after they banned putting legionnaires into fucking oubliettes.

welp, looks like the AIM260 isnt coming anytime soon... Questionable that a missile that has already failed during the India-Pakistan Air War of May 7th is now supposed to counter the same Chinese missile.
>>64637772They're probably coming in big batches now the RDT&E EMD examples from 2022 are probably the trickle ones, with the first secret LRIP ones from 2023 arriving in now assuming 24 month lead times.
>>64637797Yea, could be doing somewhere 10-20/month now. Ultimately they'll probably push for 50-100/month
>>64637772>The US isn't buying meteorWell, their problem if they don't want a superior missile.
>>64637803I'm thinking total Fox 3 production might hit 3000+ a year by 2027. AMRAAMs are already being produced at a rate of 1200/y, expanding to 2400/y when Japan's plants comes online and new RTX floorspace is completed. 600 JATMs a year is not far fetched at all.
>>64637764Dishonest.
Which firearm is the most likely to have the safety off - in the ankle holster, hip holster, or shoulder holster?
>>64635640>Thinks I'm assuming cops are intelligent. Those holsters are designed for retards to not have their weapon taken. You are the sole reason /k/ is shit. I hope you're happy.
>>64635640That case was regarding hiring people with overqualifying degrees, which no business does and for good reason. They train them up then they leave to a higher paying field. Bo agency is going to purposely hire retards, because they're a huge liability. That's why they didn't hire you bud, not because you were "too smard."
>>64635368none of them
>>64635640That's why they all should be issued with pistols that have multiple safety features like glock
>>64636099Post-WWII access to higher education has resulted in stratification of IQ. Prior to WWII IQ was more uniformly distributed socio-eocnomically. For many decades now it there are very few higher IQ people who don't go to college. A college degree is a proxy for intelligence and exclusion of degrees, especially advanced ones, is equivalent to exclusion of intelligence. No amount of mental gymnastics will change this fact.
