>People constantly felate the F22, claiming its the plane version of jesus.
>Constantly disparage the F35 saying its a an expensive boondongle that can't fight and is shit and is worse in every way to the f22 and they should have just made more f22s instead of axing the program
>Today
>People lament that the f22 is underutilized as it never gets any engagements
>Still question the value of F35 despite its multiple successes in infiltrating enemy held airspace and leading ground attack missions in heavily defended adversary airspace.

Its time you admit that F35 is the superior aircraft.

He must be, because the 260 isn't even finished yet. It's not hanging off anything in an operational capacity.
And like you said, it's specifically designed to fit the footprint of the 120 for easy compatibility with the F-22 and F-35's internal bays which were sized with the 120 in mind.
The AIM-174 is the Navy just going 'we need that capability yesterday' and sticking a naval SAM on a superbug hardpoint to fill the role. They'll probably end up using the 260 as well for the F-35C.
>>64757492
The F-35 actually being conceptualised from the ground up with future block modifications and refits in mind like we actually use them is going to be such a long term benefit, people don't even realise it just yet. There's already been three major revisions of the primary computer module, so new production planes aren't flying with 2006's greatest combination of 2004's hardware and it can be added to existing planes down the line too.
Becoming the right plane of the free world means the economies of scale are going to go crazy too, including for the future upgrades.

What tools for self defense would you recommend for someone in Europe to have when shit goes down. There are black powder revolvers shotguns and rifles, but you can't buy them everywhere in Europe. There are crossbows and bows but what is really their capacity to defend, and of course air rifles, in some countries they are unrestricted in some countries they are cucked and they are a hassle to have around in the case of an emergency. Better yet what should everybody own, not just weapons, in case they want to survive more than 72 hours.

Mind you, the most likely use for this is giving it to a friend who has no gun. While you carry a gun.

chinks are selling drone jammers for like 1000 bucks

People don't need your permission to fly over your property. You don't own the airspace. The only time they might run into legal issues is if they're recording or loitering over your yard or house. Power company inspection drones fly over my property at least once per month and spend more time over my my boomer neighbor's larger lot and it pisses him off but he has contacted all manner of agency and they've all told him fuck off it's legal.

NTA. Yes, they will fondle your balls at MEPs to check for issues and will also stare at your butthole. You will also have to take a drug test in front of someone else, both at MEPS and for your whole military career. You get used to it though.
And please, please try to get an airborne contract or an option 19 for a light unit if you're going to go infantry. Mech/stryker units are a kind of shitty that slowly crushes people's dreams.
>>

Noted. Thanks for the advice man. I’m learning a lot and trying to do my research and from what I’ve gathered Airborne and Light Infantry are better than mech, I’ll keep that in mind.

okay guys so im at DLI. i realized you can just plug the lesson text into chatgpt and make super passages that you can listen to and read for guaranteed high scores. it works. not just on me.

the problem is... ive told so many people about it. in casual conversation. im going to shut up about it.

whats the worst that can happen from this? i know that it's allowed. the problem is:

and yes, though its a bad thing to say. im worried it'll detract from my high scores. ive seen people eavesdropping, whom i know were stressed from the course, light up like they discovered fire when i started talking about this method. obviously im not smart because of this, i didnt develop anything, i didnt make chatgpt, i just stumbled upon a way to use it to learn so much better. but i am afraid people will start getting higher scores and it'll detract from me. whats the worst that could happen? even if scoring changes, i'd be long gone by then. a lot of my class knows. shit. i will shut up about it though.

anyway long wall of text, whats the worst that could happen? i do know that its allowed

should i just claim credit now and make an announcement? teaching people how to do this method. its so crazy effective and eliminates any need for effort. but i dont know. im thinking if its just in the rumor mill, it'll die eventually. plus i've realized a lot of us are anti AI, especially women at DLI? for some reason, they usually have dogma against AI. im thinking it has to do with art and it taking over artistic pursuits. anyway not the point.

i dont want it spreading to detract from myself. if its just in the rumor mill, its not a big deal. but if its spreading i might as well go full blast and receive credit by announcing it. i dont know. im willing to take any advice.

be me no guns in ny
browsing for high power diodes at 8pm
stumble upon this monstrosity "KX260 DIY Laser Cannon"
claims 260 WATTS of optical power
for reference a fucking 1W laser blinds you, and a 6W Sanwu burns wood instantly
this thing claims to be 260W
that is literally a quarter of a microwave oven concentrated into a beam
"Range: 50m" (probably the range at which it instantly ignites clothing and coons)
"Battery life: 5 years" (nuclear diamond battery? or just lies?)
"Fast charging" for when you need to melt a tank column at 8 AM and be home by noon.
Is this actually real? The specs imply this is an industrial rust cleaning laser repacked into a handheld "cannon." If the 260W rating is even 10% legitimate, this is not a mere laser pointer, it's a war crime with a handle and possibly the most fucked up thing I can legally point at some mans eyes.

Also I get ads for it on instagram 24/7. Should I buy it?

I can’t believe it took a 30 minute video to say what we already knew, which is that 10mm Auto is the superior automatic handgun cartridge, and that only after having to water it and then .40 S&W down for the women, manlets, and fags in the FBI did they just settle on 9mm because there was no difference at that point. Amazing.
>But muh fire rate!
Literally doesn’t matter in a combat scenario, doubly so if your shots don’t actually land. Paul Harrell already established this in his 1986 Miami Dade shootout analysis.

Lift weights and carry 10mm, anons.

Not sure what part you're "no shit"ing about, but yes it's all basically true.

The GIGO headquarters in Reading is technically inviolable land, the UK government has no jurisdiction there, and the employees are free from any potential influence (why they aren't taxed and don't need visa documents).

And yes, the current chief executive is Japanese, though it's stipulated that the 3 nations will be changing leaders on a rotational basis of indefinite length. Along with the industrial joint venture, EdgeWing, which currently has an Italian CEO. When the first leadership rotation happens it's expected someone from japan will become the new EdgeWing CEO, and someone from the UK will become the new GIGO chief executive, though this leadership rotation isn't expected to happen until the early/mid 2030s, so as not to disrupt the organization/decision making during the development stage, intitial production contract negotations, and prototype production.

Why aren't ballistic submarines the backbone of world navies? Why haven't surface ships been relegated to carrier protection and amphibious operations? Why not make SLBMs out of RIM-66s and Standard missiles and Tomahawks and ASROCs? If you want force projection why wouldn't the ambiguity of the presence of submarines be enough to scare your enemies?

Drone could be big yet still smaller than a plane. With good loitering time, sensors and datalinks these drones could serve as scout and guide missiles in their terminal phase.

I assume we're going to see a lot more surface ships with fewer than 150 men in board in the future and perhaps more emphasis on subs and light carriers. This is the age of quantity, big things are rarely worth the price.

The only rule the council species have regarding genengineering is no giving yourself abilities your species doesn't already have(also no creating lifeforms whole cloth, excepting medigel because it's just too useful), you are free to juice yourself up Captain America style. Each soldier gets paid $5 a day on the front line + some broken guns and tinned fish they had laying in the back of the supply depot. Each Ukrainian suicide drone cost $50 in parts and labor. As long as you can get your opponent to expend 1 drone to blow up 1 Hero of the Global South in less than 10 days it's a net benefit.
