one can lose with or without dignity and you chose the 2nd. italy had to go out against croatia has been humiliated against spain and risked a lot against albania. in all of these games printer players (who got by far the most playing time) heavily fucked individually up. also the team, explicitly built over the blocco inter, never played as a team.

Well the one good thing about Spallettiball has been a comfortable victory against a micronation of subhumans which is a feat that neither Ventura nor Mancini could achieve so we might actually maybe if we're luck snatch a ticket for the last WC with a semblance of soul that will ever be played

I don't think players were an issue, Mancini correctly realized that we have 0 goalscoring potential and that the only option was to try to set up a high defence and some meme gegenpressing to force mistakes out of the opponents counterattack. Sadly the flaw in this system is that it requires opponents that are actually willing to play football, so not large balkanoids hoping for a 0-0. Spalletti it's kind of the opposite, a master of sidways passes and hoofballs into the box whose system crumbles when put to the slightest pressure. Ideally we should find a good mix of the two.

Problem is against meme teams such as Northern Ireland, Bulgaria and Macedonia you have to play. Their players are serie B tier players this they should not see the ball. Our players sucked but they were still serie A tier. I think he insisted too much on Immobile, Jorginho, Bonucci, Chiellini and Emerson.

>>
Thats the problem with italy. You start talking about skin color instead of just focusing on good italian players. Also: Zeroli will be the future captain of your nt team.
>>
>>142226419
It's exactly what I've said. I think a setup like the one against Albania would be good in a qualifier.
>le epic aura ball playing defenders to raise the squad and play from the back
>they'll make a couple of defending mistakes but who cares the farmers won't be able to capitalize all of them
>zoom-zooming midfielders like frattesi because their inconsistency won't really matter as long as they move between the lines and push them even further
>opposing defensive line is now in curva so even our squeamish strikers and midfield manlets can get into the box easily
>sooner or later someone will find the net with a header or a hail mary blooter from outside the box
obviously this won't work against anyone who has ever googled the word "pressing" so more work needs to be done.
>>
>>142226647

You're not wrong either. Spalletti just did not understand how Fagioli generally plays, at times he was fucking defending, there should have been a player like Loca instead of Cristante to fulfill the DM role, and better players in his side of the defence to make it work, because he basically played out of role here.

Probably a little bit skewed towards younger people since it's internet-based, but that's true for all the countries, so while the overall rate may be a bit lower than 48%, you're still no.1

Not even sure why this is surprising, the Italians I saw and see (both in Italy and immigrants over here) almost always have tattoos.

Italian women usually only have small ones, often on their wrists and throats, whereas Italian men usually have many more and not rarely their entire arms tatted up, though throat tattoos also seem common among them.

I mean, for a PL player who constantly played in a top 4 team, it's an actual miracle to get him at 50mil. There's players who are in worse teams and cost WAYYYY more.

>Gravina: "We also had a long chat with the coach. I am pragmatic and I think it is unthinkable to solve problems in times of difficulty by abandoning a project which from the first moment we said was a three-year project We can't think of abandoning a project after 8/9 months of activity. We need to change something, we need to review something in terms of approach. We all started discussing it with Spalletti. I don't run away from responsibilities. Criticisms hurt, instrumental ones linked to a request for resignation. Constructive ones must not be listened to. There is no way anyone can govern our world from the outside, this applies to politics and to everyone else in asking the resignation of us both (Gravina and Spalletti). It doesnt exist."

>"The use of young people is a cultural fact but then there are the numbers. 67% of our players are foreigners in Serie A, we have 32% of selectable players. Data more or less in line with other realities, but we are resisting strenuously to the request to liberalize the possibility of registering non-EU citizens. Even Serie B, a training championship, has presented a request for at least one other non-EU player. There is the cultural attitude to understand that one asset is the nurseries We don't understand that working with young people is not a cost but an investment, there is resistance within us."

Am I crazy to think that the team lost on purpose?
You can argue as much as you want that the players are fraud, but they're still serie A players. Your teammate near you has the ball and you run away from him leaving him alone during the opponent's pressing? That's not normal behavior even for a Serie C player. Not saying all players were in on it but a part of them were playing AGAINST us, imo.

he only cost 3m at christmas and now he's somehow risen to a 17m pricetag, its clearly inflated to help out setti. Altough its nice he can play both winger and striker. For some odd reason, supported by no evidence, I think Baroni might actually do quite well

How is that different from the change in cost for foreigners in the last decade? I am sure you could blame the "italian frauds" if that happened, but it's already happening now without the italian frauds, so whose fault is it right now?

>In which way reducing the recruitment basin NOT reduce player quality?
You're not reducing it? All you're doing is shifting the cautious buying from italians to foreigners.
Right now:
>careful about giving opportunities to italian talent, only buy the ones you're sure are good
>buy loads of ngubus even if they're frauds hoping one could turn out good
Talent pool would remain the same, except now:
>careful about buying ngubus, only buy the ones you know are good
>buy loads of italian players that could turn out to be good
The pool is literally the same.
>>
>>142241703
Literally look at every league that tried to implement something similar. All you're doing is increating the premium on homegrown players, this isn't the case because the supply of foreign players is much larger.

>>
>>142242533
Yeah, but players with that much talent will always float to the top no matter the circumstances. These measures are about giving the midling players and late bloomers the best chance at making it
>>
>>142242375
Again, libtard logic:
>if you won't allow me to field 11 foreigners, my team will be worth nothing
You can still invest and attract all those foreign players without ONLY fielding them. If you're incapable of doing this very simple thing, then it's right to have laws that stop you from going full retard.
>>
>libtard here libtard there

>>142242675
