My city's first Premodern monthly ran today with 10 players. I went 2-2 with this hastily assembled UW Flippi list - I was running late hence some numbers look weird0-2 Moneyball black2-0 Flinker0-2 FEB - I misplayed because of format knowledge, naming wrong with Meddling Mage, in G1 then mulled a 7 and 6 that I probably could've kept in game 22-1 SlighMy losses were to 1st and 2nd place respectively so I scammed my way into 3rd place.

How do you justify a "pest race" like goblins or rat people in your setting? Why wouldn't the dominant species make a concentrated effort to eradicate them if they were a problem?
>>97213989They aren't actually pests or a problem, but some other folk are fantasy-racist against them and them being pests or problems is all idiot-bigot propaganda
>>97216563The big Nazi book burning stuff was to destroy everything they could about gender and sexuality research because they (incorrectly) believed in binary sex in human (which doesn't exist) so it's on brand, ya fuckin' Nazi
>>97213989It's a game, not a book. Now go into the cave, kill them and we roll the treasure. Cooler monsters need leveled characters.
>>97213989Its set on a spaceship designed to seed galaxy with life, there are components that make sure the population of a given species does not die out.In fact goblins are a huge problem right now because their leader realized how to utilize the systems to mass clone new goblins.
>>97213989The goblins that the party deal with are just exiles from an advanced, overseas civilization that, in their enlightenment, have realized that the optimal way to deal with crazies is to just dump them in the uncivilized lands across the sea.
Stories, art, don’t care. Post it or don’tWhite human male and orc female pairings are the key to fixing the realm
Anyone here got good orc related stories?, I would but my DM isn't a fan of orcs and prefers encounters with undead and big beasts than greenskin people so I have none nor do I feel like making up some bullshit tale either, like some anons here...
>>97215921>ERP around the tableAs much as I love a lewd orc, I wouldn't subject other players (whether I'm a DM or one of the PCs) to my orc girl fetish. I'm sure some people have some stories about being dragged off to the all-female orc rape camp, but apart from some cheeky jokes, I don't think most people have any stories worth recounting.
>>97215921Closest I got was my party getting hired to clear out some forests my a merchant (djinn who was fucking with us) who didn’t mention they were infested with beastmen and orcs and it was gonna be a lot longer than a single “get in fuck shit up and loot” job and we were bound to this thing. My Paladin led the charge into an orc camp and started going kill-crazy as his barely sentient/primal force moon maiden patron flooded him with zeal and wrath. At the same time, one the chief’s concubines, who didn’t like being a meat sock for this dink made her move and the party catches up and sees buckethead popping off and being helped by an equally berserk she-orc and the two tore the chief apart. They got along great after that, she became a recurring character and I retired that character with him and the orc leaving for the “little house on the prairie”No coomer shit, just the DM taking the cliche and playing it straight (hyper-loyal orc wife where violence is foreplay) and his way of saying my guy was more orc-like than the orc in the party

>>97206152I actually agree.Make players struggle to put together characters and wrap their heads around clunky 5e combat. Have fun for 3-5 levels, become painfully bored after that and at level 10 you show up and say “so look; I’m sorry to put you through this but you had to learn how to play with a less than satisfactory game so you have a good base of experience moving forward and can appreciate some better options. Like public school.”5e is actually a great introductory game if the person running it is aware that it hits the perfect sweet spot of “playable, but unsatisfying”
>>97216434>5e is actually a great introductory game if the person running it is aware that it hits the perfect sweet spot of “playable, but unsatisfying”It's a terrible introductory game because it does not explain itself or how to run it effectively. There is a reason people use those instead of exact fucking distance measurement, you deft cunt.Seriously mate, what made you think measuring distance down to a fucking single feet is the right course of action? Even if you are autistic, you should grasp the basic concept that it makes no fucking difference if something is 200 or 2000 paces away, because at both of those distances, hitting a human without a decent scope is a pure random chance.Or are you simply nogunz?
