You two are examples of a new type of subhuman that is arguably even worse than an AI-user -- that is, drooling Dunning-Kruger thoughtzombies who so reflexively go, "THAT'S AI!!" to everything that they end up constantly denying reality.

I hope the AI shitter comes back with more pictures to drive the final nails through your idiot wrists, but he seemed no less braindead than you two so I can't count on him even knowing he's in a fight he can win.

This is a tactile hobby, ai has no place here, especially in a subsection of the hobby devoted to appreciating the pre-digital era of it. You seem the sort of person who would let a far more destructive element into your hobby simply to spite someone you might disagree with. This is not a case of take the good with the bad, it's a case or rejecting an utterly incompatible element & mindset that will dilute pollute and diminish the hobby we love if it is not checked immediately and vigorously.
>>
>>97281597
See, none of that alters the fact that you(?) or the other guy got so mad that you could no longer tell a real conversion from AI slop. Of what use is any of your reasoning, preferences, etc. when we have all just watched you fail to perceive the real world accurately?

I hate AI and would make it illegal if it were up to me. I do not kneejerk accuse anything I don't like of being AI, though.

Sharing useful wisdom that has helped me run more satisfying games. Trying to share some less common advice. These are my opinions and techniques that have helped me. I’d love to hear what has worked for other /tg/ DMs.

1. Time pressure- adding time pressure through use of "clocks" including real life clocks is incredibly helpful to add pressure and tension to a scenario. Giving players choices but not enough time to make every choice adds meaning to those choices. Time pressure in combat is a contentious, but powerful tool to discuss with your players. Forcing a decision in seconds makes combat stressful and - when players are on board- fun (in anticipation of the common objection: if the players don’t make a choice in combat, I usually come back to them before round end, I never have them “just stand there”. Remember to assume character competency).

2- The GM-ing engine- It's okay to front load content and prepare a few different rail-roady hooks in the first few sessions. Being a GM is like starting one of those old prop engines with a winch. It takes a while for the pistons (players) to kick into gear. Once they do, after a few sessions, all you need to do is apply gas. Solve the tavern problem by figuring out how characters know each other prior to the first session.

3- Immersion means impact- After a session, reflect on how the player choices affected the world (for good or ill), try to let the ripple of that effect emerge in the next session. Players that feel like they change the world around them invest in it.

>Time pressure- adding time pressure through use of "clocks" including real life clocks is incredibly helpful to add pressure and tension to a scenario.
I disagree entirely. I've had two separate campaigns ruined because the players decided a several-month long timer was too brief for them to do something and, despite being grossly underleveled for it, insisted on approaching the encounter. I pushed them off, redirected them to a side-task but they kept at it, almost every session.
>>
>>97280690
This is a fair criticism. What about letting the players fail?

If I may: the technique is very useful to add tension/pressure. Your anxiety-ridden players do not need any additional tension/pressure.

Realistically what would life in a world of superheroes where your ability is defined by your bloodline be like? Would eugenics be common place in such a world? Would government affect them if the abilities could range from pointless to Homelander level at best?
>>
Elves are hunted because
>Their meat tastes better than anything
>Their blood can cure illnesses
>Their bones are beautiful and jewel-like
>Their hair is nearly unbreakable and can be woven into unbreakable fabric
>Their organs have specific properties
As a result, they've gone from living like well, elves to basically becoming an entire race consisting of Guts from Berserk.

Pic is what a bit of glue, a handful of bird sand, five or six different paints, couple of model grass and roughly one day (and most of it was paint/glue drying) can make out of an unpainted plastic bunker. (Bolt Action, not 40k, but still).
I won't say that this is a masterwork, not even particularly good, but it does its thing. Everyone can at least give his terrain some colors.

got a bunch of HH space wolves off fb marketplace dirt cheap but it includes 20 guys who were clearly supposed to be grey stalkers with bolt guns and chainswords.

Since that unit is gone in 3.0, is there any way to make that a legal loudout or do I just run them as tactical marines and tell my opponent to ignore the chainswords on their belt?
>>
>>97281609
Drop those bayonets and you can use Logistical benefit to fit in another levy!
But seriously, the discipline masters turn off the expandable, it's really easy for marines to kill 13 6+ levies, and that's so much to paint.

finished a tank and painted a little flag for the next leman russ. I want that one to have like 3 flags. I hate the font I made up for the "imperium" text so probably replacing that. I have to buy a particular pot of oregano to get the same shape turret in the next tank.

well, there's another downside to magnetizing I didn't think of. using a magnet that just isn't strong enough.

I used a 5x2 on my armigers and that seemed like overkill. so i used a 3x1 on my ghostkeel's gun which I thought would be fine since it's a little smaller. but nope. fortunately I had enough room to drill room for a second magnet next to it. not as strong as I'd like though.

Why no, I have never played WFB or AoS in my life. Why yes, I do make posts and even threads about how killing off the former was terrible and the latter was the worst thing Games Workshop ever did. Why, no, I have no intentions of ever playing TOW, either.

>(especially the "this is more of a Follower than a Companion" line in the Schrodinger's Imouto option, kind of redundant now they're in a Follower section instead of Companions)
A consequence of the chaos of moving options between multiple sections during the birth of a new one.
> it's not clear whether the whole population of My Paradise follow you or just the brainwashed ones.
>and it's not clear whether the whole population of My Paradise follow you or just the brainwashed ones.
That option is supposed to replace itself every Jump with a new one, like how Nico Nico Knockoff gets left behind because it's funny.
>I'm also not entirely sure if we can *not* get a new Deuteragonist in a given jump, but given this is Himenospia the appropriate answer is probably no...
Mind rapist wife is non-negotiable.
>Red Mom kind of seems like she'd fit better discounted for Human than Wasp, though. Kind of hard for her to do her "control everyone around you" thing if you've already turned them into minions that are instinctually poorly disposed towards her and her minions, and if you take the (rightly, it's hilarious) recommended "overwrite control of other Queens' Soldiers" option for Will of the Wasps, she's kind of toothless?
That Companion section is unintelligible chaos, defined by no reasonable order. That said, being a Wasp is the one that guarantees a reason why she can't just control you. Also, there's no reason you shouldn't be able to build to counter her, she's a Companion, not a Drawback.

There's no reason to have shield and choppa boys without bows, it gives you some nice range options. I'd consider putting the 10 orcs with bows into the two units, so it's 2 of 25 each. I'd try shuffle some units around to make your general a Black Orc, and swap the big boss for a wizard of some description. Not being able to dispel, even at 1000p, feels fucking awful, and magic missiles are particularly good against the smaller units that show up more often at that points value.
