>>97285998If you really love old Sora that much, surely there must be some of the paid sites out there that still have that old model without the Bing restrictions.
>>97286107That's because Dall-e is currently a zombie. Hopefully some hero will eventually jailbreak it

>>97285425As most other have pointed out, there's a dedicated general for the format because it's very detached from the rest of the game as it's basically a party game and a reason for people to socialize rather than play magic. I also wouldn't recommend it as the entry point but it sounds like that's all your friends are going to play so whatever. Most people get thrown the krenko deck to start because it's beyond braindead easy and considering you play stuff like PTCG and HS that sounds about your speed. Get your feet wet with it but don't become too attatched to it as you'll likely get bored of it fairly quickly.
>>97283594>TQA bit of bias here, but probably the 7-cost Atraxa. She was my first Mythic and it was alt-art to boot
>>97285117It's not that I ever had the actual thought that it is impossible for any art director to fail to draw pizza but seeing these lands I realized it was possible. I agree with you it is among the most embarrassing things they've ever done.I can't actually believe a billion dollar company would let something like this happen. I understand there's a reason behind drawing someone in a mechawheelchair fighting off Phyrexians or pirates but this... is he pulling pizza out of the beach or something? Has this fucking art director never eaten fucking pizza before; nobody fucking holds pizza like that.
The next Un-set will save Magic. It will be called Magic UnCut and will feature tasteful softcore and hardcore pornography scenes and flavor.

>>97285825Yes. It's actually noted in the Jihad that a bunch of early casualties from Blakist nukes were because the people had newer mechs without the old Succession Wars warcrime survival kits in their air filtration systems. Every mech can go full seal for a few hours, but they default to using native air on a breathable world. Pretty much wiped the 1st Knights of the Inner Sphere with a gas attack this way.The old SW family mech survivors still had all the stuff to survive radiation and chemical warfare. They still needed decon after missions, though.

>>97281270>>97280802Wait does Blades make the MC clocks from pbta player facing? That's fucking dumb.
>>97282297that's actually genius and it can be picked apart endlessly from different angles why it's geniusbut the most basic tldr; idea>have a timer>players don't know about the timer>it doesn't go off in the endwell then it might have been non-existent at allwhat purpose did it serve?when you have a player facing timer it immediately creates suspense and tensionit does many other things to improve a game but this alone is enough to warrant player facing timers in your games
>>97283531Anon, having the players know there is a timer, advancing it and communicating that through narration and events thus letting the tensions and events build diagetically is gm101. If you have players who aren't fucking retarded and you can actually run a game, tension and suspense happens through actual play. If you need a visual aid to track sure why not. Don't put the information about what the phases of the clock do or how many there are on the board unless its something like 10 Candles.
>>97229580>Waaah it's harder for me to steal ur evilDo OSRbabies really act like this?
>>97283531I think it works really well in BitD as you have the flashback system. The whole system is a genre send up of heist films, so it plays as how much narrative the players can force before their mistakes catch up with them. You normally have a "bad thing" clock, and something is about to happen that advances it. The players need to decide if they spend their stress now to make up a story to escape the consequences or save it for later.Other PbtA systems like Mothership don't have real ways to fight to clock, and so it becomes like you said - it is redundant because it either doesn't go off or it kills tension or play pace because players agonise over a tangible bit of "real" information. Mothership can get away with being based upon PbtA because it's meant to be especially lethal. Most modules have at least a full refresh of characters sitting around, it plays like an old-school filter adventure sometimes.

I only host public games to poach players for my private games and if you aren't going to make the cut I basically start ignoring you in game.
>>97283507I told people different start times for a game based on their level of flakiness and got them to show up at the same time. I sometimes sneak in Magical Realm shit like the party being hunted by brown Amazons who think they'd father strong daughters. I sometimes run games in secret because I don't want to hurt the feelings of friends whose playstyle I hate or think their personalities would clash with those of my favorite players. I don't consider online games real RPGs. It's like the equivalent of condom sex with a woman you find unattractive. You didn't have sex, you fapped into another person and your subconscious knows it.
Whenever someone here asks for a system recommendation, I always suggest 5e. Especially if it's a modern game. I've also noticed that I'm not the only one who does it.Awesome.
Ive lied about 80% of my dice throws over discord, even the bad roles are made up if it helps with the narrative make more sense. I just want to roleplay a fun story, not constantly die.
I periodically save and re-post AIslop pictures because people are incapable of not sperging about them and that makes me chuckle

Trench Raiding With The Lads Edition>What is Trench Crusade? An alternate weird history 28mm/32mm tabletop skirmish game still in a pre-release playtesting phase but with the full release slated for this year. >>97284800Its hard to do it with campaign games as youll likely be upgrading or swapping equipment on units as the campaign progresses, so I just stick to something that can be approximated. Like ill make a model with a 1 handed sword, but in the profile I can just say its a 2 handed sword when I pay to swap the weapon out,, or a bolt action rifle is a semi auto rifle if I swap it out.Its why its good to have a theme or intended upgrade path for units so you have something to model around. Remember, you really need about 20 models in reality for this, youll be adding and upgrading units over time.

>>97285599That's cool that he still comes over and plays on occasion, even if it's just with starters. Life can really get in the way when we get older (I turned 40 yesterday, which just feels weird), and I'm thankful that my friends and I can still find time for our hobby on occasion. We might try Sorcery at some point if any of our LGS decide to stock it. The real issue is finding time. We have so many fun games we have decks for already, and a handful that we haven't even learned to play yet.I hope you and your brother have fun with Sorcery! Sounds like he found a great gift for the two of you to share.>Miss the simpler days, as I'm sure others can relate.Without a doubt.
>>97285674First off, happy birthday. Hell of a date. I'm years off from turning 40, but it's nearer than I want to admit.>The real issue is finding time. That's the biggest game killer of all, making schedules and locations line up perfectly so game jams can commence. I pine for the days of having a whole weekend just for gaming, but with how busy things can get, especially during the holidays, it's easy to have that game jam get pushed back months at a time. What's important is keeping at it, and not letting the dust settle so hard it just kills your drive to try new things.
>>97285733>First off, happy birthday. Hell of a date.Thank you. And yeah, the date certainly made for some interesting birthday parties in my youth. It's definitely a challenge sometimes to get together, but if we plan well enough in advance it usually works. We just have to put in a bit of effort and enjoy it when the opportunities arise. It's nice that we have the internet to connect us, but nothing beats getting together in person, even when it's not as often as we'd like.
Serious Question: How do you justify spending on a game like Sorcery when your local scene is made of 4-5 people?I got myself interested in it, but I'm afraid of there having nobody to play with

It's fantasy dawg
In WEG' D6 Fantasy orcs, goblins, ogres and bugbears are created from other humanoid races. The most handy and large scale method is just burying humanoids to a cursed ground, which causes them to deform and rise again as mentioned evil races. They can also be created by corrupting humanoids through magical torture, and through evil races raping other humanoid women which results in offspring of evil race. This is all mostly done by evil wizards who want obedient minions who do their bidding as long as they are given something to hurt or smash on regular basis.
