Hello
After a review of some of your gens, it seems like you're starting to hit a threshold of
>1girl, standing
what this means is that it's time to start branching out into other things.
Good luck and godspeed.

Waifu spammers have always been an important part of the /slop/ ecosystem, and are a necessary counterpart to the quality-obsessives.

For each thread task, there must be 150 images posted. But there aren't anywhere close to 150 /slop/ posters, so if each anon only posted one or two carefully curated gens, then the thread would die. The spammers consume the excess image capacity, allowing us to get to the next thread task while basking in the sensual delight of AI titties.

Just curious, cause I feel like I'm missing something, what is "1girl"?

I would like to talk about the Chronicles of Darkness game line Deviant: The Renegades, or more specifically, one major upcoming supplement. Deviant was released in late 2021, and has had three additional sourcebooks since then. A new supplement, Black Vans, has been in playtesting for a while, and is currently being previewed.

I am not being paid or sponsored to promote this book in any way. I am just very fascinated by it, and indeed, I already ran a mini-campaign using the playtest material.

Deviant is, by default, a game about playing angsty, scarred superheroes who either fight world-manipulating conspiracies or work for them. Black Vans is a toolkit full of variant rules, quick NPC creation, variant character types, and variant genres. These variants range from the minor to the dramatic, completely overhauling what were once non-negotiable, foundational themes and mechanics. Maybe your character is not angsty or scarred at all, perhaps they are a """""regular human""""" like John Wick or Batman, or the campaign might have nothing to do with world-manipulating conspiracies.

These variant genres include cyberpunk, high fantasy, post-apocalypse, space opera, and superhero emergence.

This is a beefy supplement. For example, one chapter alone dedicates 38,000+ words to playing other monsters of the Chronicles of Darkness: Beasts, changelings, demons, Sin-Eaters, hunters (entirely separate from the variant rules for """natural""" superpowers), mages, mummies, Prometheans, vampires, and werewolves. No additional supplements beyond Deviant are necessary; the rules are self-contained, allowing the group to play a monster mash of an urban fantasy setting without needing a daunting 7+ books. And yes, they are supposed to be balanced against one another, so a vampire in the same group as a full-fledged mage is probably some older Kindred.

(Continued.)

Have you had a look at Shallow Graves yet? It is very comprehensive in expanding player options.
>>
>>97264144
No, I only have clade companion and devoted, how many am I missing?
>>
>>97264163

Just Shallow Graves. All said, it is significantly more comprehensive a book than The Devoted Companion and The Clades Companion.

Eric Zawadzki's Patreon currently has the full pre-release text of Black Vans up for subscribers, too.
>>
>>97264163

According to Eric Zawadzki, Black Vans is coming out on the 1st of January. Thus, you can pick up both Shallow Graves and Black Vans soon enough.

Liberator really fucked Ryutaro's shit up with the deck he got. Suzune being Hexeblaumon central at least still has a good top end. Winr has a fun gimmick and Yuuki...exists for good or ill since purple is always a good color.
Ryutaro's entire gimmick falls flat when Owen just does it better in every single way.

I've seen people run Mario Kart with it. Ironically, I think races are what Gaslands is worst at, because rarely does anyone actually finish the race. It's a huge collision clusterfuck right at the start, then weapons come online and the idea of actually racing goes out the window. I much prefer deathmatches or some of the arena types with goals to accomplish.

My favourite example of stuff like this is the whole clips vs. magazines thing in firearms, especially since there's a photograph from the Vietnam war of some soldiers who clearly have "CLIPS" printed on their spare magazine pockets/pouches. Shit gets mixed up all the time and modern day military autists who have all the information they could possibly want at their fingertips and the desire to spend hours upon hours looking through it all tend to massively overestimate how much the average historical fighting man actually knew about his equipment.

>>

Kharadron have grudges, it's a highly legalistic process you submit and gets stamped by bureaucrats on the admiral's councils. They have a whole part of the kharadron code called the grudge clauses.

The traditonalist skyport even has a whole library distict dedicated to cataloguing their more standard grudges, and has their soldiers go to war with runic tablets inscribed with the worst slights against them so they can personally mark off the retribution.

Fyreslayers have their grudges recorded by their battlesmiths and inscribe them on metal tablets that they melt down when the grudges are repaid. There's a specific lodge who dumps the molten slag into a moat around their magmahold, as a warning to outsiders

obviously you can check out the rules online, watch some games on youtube and of course just pick whatever looks cool. One less talked about bit is what's going to be easier/harder to paint. Unless you plan on leaving everything grey, you probably plan on doing at least a little painting for your army. Painting will likely be most of how you spend your time in the hobby, at least initially so it pays to know what your getting into. Nighthaunt is baby mode, iron jawz is pretty easy, KO is reasonable if your sticking mostly to metallic paints and Slaves to darkness is going to be a pain in the neck. I reccomend checking out this video for more info on painting difficulty https://youtu.be/1Om9-W9S5vA?si=aVHg5-sio-Eh6cj8&t=213
and this video for what the factions play like and who they appeal to https://youtu.be/1Om9-W9S5vA?si=aVHg5-sio-Eh6cj8&t=213
>good for beginners
probably Ironjawz or nighthaunt. Nighthaunt has the caveat that you basically ignore a system mechanic of rend so it's not amazing to teach you but it's easier to get a handle on. StD is also decent, their core mechanic is as your guys kill things, you can roll dice to give them buffs that last the rest of the game. KO is on the harder side, very movement heavy and besides the boats your dudes aren't super tanky so you need to be smart with positioning as a more shooting heavy army.

I recently came across the movie Him. I need to sit down and watch it from the beginning but watched a good bit of it to the end. It was surreal and trippy in a weird dreamy way that has fascinated me, especially since my latest interest has been mindscape stuff ala, The Cell or Inception and The Evil Within.

Him, the sports horror film? I remember seeing trailers for it and being under the impression it was Jordan Peele's next socially-focused horror flick. From what I recall it was just his production company and a different director. Reception wasn't the best after it came out so I never gave it much mind though I might have to give it a look. It's been years since I saw Inception but I've always wanted to play the Evil Within games proper. Currently I've been on more of a surrealist bend, Blue Velvet was quite enjoyable, and Naked Lunch was an interesting switch-up from Scanners which was a lot less trippy in its presentation. The Cell seems interesting, what's your opinion on it?

The mech would need to be slower than 5 running for that to be a serious detriment. Magnetic clamps were clearly designed by someone who didn't know why BA weren't allowed to ride regular mechs or just didn't care.

It's part of the sidegrade city decade where they tried to give every tech to every tech base. This is why there's retarded stuff like Clanner RAC's.
>>
>>97269189
Why weren't they?
>>
>>97269201
Because the highly adaptive gyros of omnimechs are supposed to be what allows BA to quickly mount and ride or dismount from omnimechs without causing dangerous instability.
Otherwise there's no logical reason that ALL mechs can't just be given token handholds that allow BA to ride without any special equipment required from the mech or BA. All the BA need are handholds, the power outlets are just a strategic measure and would be relevant in the short periods of time that TT battles last.

Planetname is Merchant republic in the Outter Rim and currently politically divided into 2 factions, which are constantly sabotaging each other.
In a gesture of compromise (and prevent further damage from sabotage actions) ruling body allowed both sides of the conflict purchase additional military equipment for self-defense under central government supervision. In real life, and also in Creation, people are driven by a number of different desires, values and goals that may sometimes, even frequently, be mutually contradictory. In other words, it's entirely possible to both genuinely believe that Bible is the word of God and to genuinely have distinctly un-Biblical urges. It's possible to, say, covet your neighbour's wife and to believe that you shouldn't covet your neighbour's wife at the same time. Whichever desire and/or belief ypu actually act on doesn't make the other one go away. Similarly in Creation, a piously Immaculate farmer may resent his lot in life and think that the local governor is an asshole, while also believing that doing his job as a farmer to the utmost while respecting the authorities is the thing to do, while dealing with the cognitive dissonance following from that in some personal way. Maybe he suppresses some part of what he feels and projects it on others, maybe he "makes up" for his sinful dreams of a life grander than he's been given in this life through particularlt vocal Immaculacy, maybe he figures that in general authorities are alright and farmers content with their lot but his particular governor just so happens to be a right cunt who's ruining it for everyone and making it hard to be a good Immaculate. Whatever, either way both the Immaculate Philosophy and desires incompatible with the Immaculate Philosophy are genuine and meaningful forces defining his actions and psychology.

Ehhh, you're carrying a lot of water for made up religion when I'm saying people don't really believe their religions as a general rule. They believe in their culture and traditions, but that's it. They don't have faith. That's my lived experience
