>>97382382We wore our mourning clothes, all black save for Blue Fairy's hanbok, for white is the color of mourning in East Asia. Man of Florida (why did Scarlet give him such a disrespectful nickname?) also wore black and he watched us from a distance. Our two most trusted staff members joined us.Princess Charming wore the same dark Georgian chokha she had at our last orgy, those were the clothes Boy Toy was supposed to wear at home for a few more days, and she was the last member of House Venus to exchange words with him. Long ago, she confessed to me and Blue Fairy she fantasized about Mother's Beast ravishing her.The girlfriend of Blue Fairy, she differs from the women of House Venus in a number of ways: she has a deeply tanned skin, she's from Clan Ventrue, she does not like men and she happens to be a masochist in addition to being a sadist. I never dared to ask, but I always believed she had a history of childhood abuse. This was her best opportunity to see her fantasy made real, so she was the closest to Mother Venus. The box was opened. Man of Florida covered Mercury Lamp's eyes, seized her and threw her inside the Dollhouse, to save her alleged innocence from the impending drama.Once again, uncle The Devil Wears Me tore his clothes as Mother, me, and Blue Fairy wailed. Mother threw her black mink to me as blood came forth from her tear ducts, nostrils and mouth. The ghouls shamelessly licked the precious vitae off the floor and her face, whose ruined makeup made her look exactly like the Virgin Mary in this picture: >>97378950 but with bloodshot eyes and sharp canines.Princess Charming executed her plan. She hugged Mamma and was rewarded with a palm strike, because calling it a slap would be reductive. The Ventrue glared at her with the same lust Boy Toy used to look into our eyes when we took turns smacking him, then was thrown to the ground and felt the Beast's shoe on her throat.Blue Fairy held the Beast so her girlfriend wouldn't be bit...
>>97382382>>97385681..meanwhile I had the Beast's hand reach between Princess Charming's legs and wrapped the mink on Mother's shoulders. The Italian moaned: "Mamma... mamma..." as the Beast fisted her, I couldn't tell if there was more sadness, pain or pleasure in those words.Eventually me and Blue Fairy decided the fur had flown enough and we separated them, much to her girlfriend's frustration.Scarlet's reaction to the gift, to discovering the box held the last tears of Boy Toy inside, was something completely different from ours. The redhead kept looking at it as if she was searching for her lost boyfriend in the vial. She held it to her chest, spun and posed, transfixed. As far as I know, Scarlet's understanding of dancing should be limited to headbanging and exactly two classes of Raqs Sharqi, the style of belly dance Mother learned in Egypt and tried to teach her youngest childe.Comment too long. Travel log #6 [Las Vegas, Nevada]-[*7/10]>>>>>Pros>Vegas has a lively night life with two very distinct cities for the blood that, so long as you're not a Sabbat war party, you could find a nice niche for yourself. Even just visiting has been miles easier than almost any other city with a population >Even the slightest edge could let a person live relatively comfortable here, and those who know how to carve out a niche could get pretty far, although tower-of-babel levels of ambition can be an issue >This might be the largest and most friendly assortment for those of us of a certain breed; Ravs, Nos, Malks and Gangs. I saw some old friends I haven't seen in decades, and there is strength in numbers. Usual for nomadic and subterranean folk, just play it smart and you can find safe haven if you need it>Despite an unusually large hunter presence, they seem more focused on other threats as it is rumoured among hunters Las Vegas was purged a few years ago>>>>>Cons>It may not be as bad as some, but this place in the desert is a monument to hubris. One day it's gonna go>This place is a cauldron for forces beyond mortal ken, judging by my travel companion almost having a stroke and scrawling the kind of shit on the walls I haven't seen since back in Marquette. Full house as well; ancient forces, indigenous ghosts, sins, and the rest >This is a 'Vampire Free city' and if you start looking too dead or too successful, the locals will just dust you >Despite the relative peace, this place is three murders or a bad report away from going bad; if it isn't some unmentionable horror doing it the tensions between high society and the common Blood could start something ugly, supposing the Snake worshippers out in the desert don't start somethingI can see why Teddy decided to move in. Nice place to visit but I wouldn't want to live here. Guess that's why the Ravs have such a big camp on the fringes. Good to see old friends again, and to get into a light amount of trouble.
>>97388600Thanks to my Ravs, we should be good on money for the rest of this trip.To anyone looking to move in I have some words of advice. First off, this place exploded from nothing and I expect one day the desert will take her back just as quickly. In terms of politics the local Establishment has some very strict rules. Don't win too much (formal leadership says no millions, fringe say take nothing but cash and bonds), no poker, don't feed off members of high society. They take this shit as serious as formal Camarilla doctrine. Don't poke at rival camps. High society stays away from the fringes and the fringes don't agitate high society. Play nice, or don't cause too much trouble and leave as quiet as you came in. Decorum is important, even if it's the informal decorum.Lastly, while the common fringe clans are friendly, there's a war in the waiting among the ruling Triumvirate. Giovanni, Tremere, and Toreador. At some point, someone is going to try and cut someone else out of the picture, and it will get ugly real quick. That's for the future though. For once it was nice to drive into a city and have only one Prince and two Barons to do the niceties with. The old Prince was bemused a nomad actually acted with Hospitality. The sisters on the fringes were... Well. Interesting. Mèo-Mèo's clan, so I let her do the talking. Can't say I appreciated one of them thinking I'm Mèo-Mèo's pimp and reminding us prostitution was banned in the county, though her sister had her own 'quirks.' I suppose that's just the norm for leaders. Otherwise, outside of the nebulous doom(s) looming on the horizon I'll probably visit again.Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.

>Does terrain plays an important role in your games or you use whatever table and makeshift available to build it?Yes, both.
>>97387443I think terrain is extremely important but don't have the time or patiences right now to make full fledge battlefields with unique terrain for scenarios and all that. But terrain and painted miniatures (even poorly painted) make the game 100% more enjoyable.
What the hell happened to this? I thought it was supposed to come out last year, then it was delayed till this year but there's no date in sightAlso for some reason they are already selling minis, but not the full range, in combination to the Gundam card game?? What is going on
>>97387443>TQYes, it's an important part for immersion and for influencing actual gameplay.I've mostly built it myself. I'd like to make a few more pieces, especially watery pieces like creeks, ponds or bogs. Any tips on making those?

How would you humanize enemy mooks even if the players have to put them down at the end of day? How do you make it so that players leaving piles of corpses in their wake is not a trivial matter?
>>97386976>the point would be to show that while they're evil, it's because they were shaped to it, not born to itTrite "le heckin subversion xD" garbage. Predictable and boring, and not in line with established LotR lore, within which the orcs were an extension of the discord of Melkor within the Song of the Ainur.Reconsider suicide.>>97386930They are, it's just that their feelings are not what we'd traditionally call human, based on the subset of humanity capable of creating higher culture as a consequence of their access to more meaningful or higher states of emotion, such as universal empathy, and access to theory of mind.
>>97384224To begin with, it entirely depends on what kind of mooks you fight and why they want to harm you.Are we talking soldiers of an enemy state? What kind of war is this? Is it "i dont care if noble A or noble B is on top, for us down here all remains the same", or is it a case of "we will conquer and subjugate you, destroy your culture and society"Is it criminals who are just desperate people trying to survive? Or is it the real world equivalent of mafia/ cartel/ street gangs, full of absolute bastards? Are the mooks evil cultists trying to bring forth the end of the world and kickstart an age of endless suffering and darkness? Or a bunch of bored fags larping, who are in way over their head?Depending on the type of mook and the type of their goal, it can either be very easy or increadibly hard to humanize them.
>>97387987> Trite "le heckin subversion xD" garbage.>subversionThe number of people who don’t know that Tolkien was Catholic and thus believed that there was no such thing as something born ontologically evil is both staggering and baffling.
>>97387987 >>97387113> and not in line with established LotR loreWithin Middle-earth’s lore it is *explicit* that during the war between the Valar and Morgoth, *only* the Elves were entirely on one side (the Valar’s). Everything else was divided to some greater or lesser extent, and since when the war began Orcs had already come into being, this *must* mean that there were Valar-aligned Orcs.A lorelet is you, Anon.
>>97388431>>97388492I don't know which part of this has to do with me, I just wrote that I hated it. Which I do regardless of whatever it says in the Silmarilion or the Tanakh. Tolkien's christianity is the primary obstacle to the quality of his work.
>this is considered one of the worst magic arts of all timewhy do traditional gamers have such shit taste?
>>97387128This. The art is... fine, I guess. But it doesn't look to have anything to do with "Statis". It looks like the kind of art a beatnik would look at while drawing on a cigarette, calling it "Brilliant", while everyone around them thinks they are huffing their own farts just a bit too much.
>>97387218Like, at a glance what I think is "Balance" not "Stasis" since both of the abstract concepts (?) are in a scale. I wonder how did the artist came up with this concept and why, but it fails the purpose of indicating what the idea of the card was.

>>97386217Absolutely blessed session 0, good job choom.>I like the screamsheet format for adventures, they give you a story framework but leave most of the work in the GM's handsThis is pretty much what I do, I just skim a gig and get inspired for something of my own design. For example for the extremely well-written Agents of Desire I changed the Saturday Night Butt Kickers final battle to the crew infiltrating a yakuza lair (I mean come on if the idea was that Ai's engram could be cloned and copied as a free AI slave forever I feel like a bigger player would get it, not a technobarbarian gang), or for A Night at the Opera I set up the evil vampires as a huge infective presence down to even some NCPD having vampyre fangs and indoctrinated into the masquerade. And like most ref's I read Reaping the Reaper and thought that this plot point deserves a lot more love and made Reaper and his cloned AI into a more persistent threat. Also I took the various Bozo jobs and it inspired me to make an entire campaign out of it.

>>97387266You're sidestepping. 40k humans are explicitly not pod people. Unless they wouldn't change the lore to say they were to make women as strong as men because that'd ruin the irl point they're trying to make. The custodes tangent has nothing to do with that particular part. Custodes were always stated to be male until they changed it, though.
>>97385432How much evidence do we even have women become gregnant? Given the power dynamics shown in media, the imperium seems like a matriarchy. I'd guess that men are basically stupid breeding cattle that form babbies.

>>97386923That's funny, I think prepping mysteries is inherently easier than prepping a dungeon because you just need to know what the mystery is, have a cast of NPCs, and have some locations. With something like Delta green you don't really even need to stat much out, I'll usually have a loose idea of a couple of skills noncombat NPCs, and combat skills and weapons for any combat NPCs. Maybe a particularly nasty NPC might have a spell or two.You do well to check out The Alexandrian blog, his game mastery 101 articles are solid, fundamental and concrete advice on how to get started. He also has a book, So You Want To Be A Dungeon Master, that is basically a restatement of 20+ years of blog posts in a more logical arrangement.
