I am particularly proud of that part. It's the culmination of several gags that just lined up perfectly in my head and I am glad I was able to comunicate at least a bit of that. So wether he vanishes or changes instantly depends on if there is someone else in there at the same time or if someone enters before him. Considering there are more runes and more people disappearance seems much more likely. The messy part is that in the CYOA, it's a single group of friends who need to all be together to enter the Gras Paada. Our situation is quite a bit different now, and that makes the whole time stop thing awkward and inconsistent, since someone else could teleport in and make time resume while everyone else is away. If we wanted to resolve it with in world logic, it could just be that there's someone just living in Gras Paada and never leaving, ensuring that time never stops.

Anyway, I'm mixed on being able to teleport with a picture. Overall I think it's better to make the table's needed, that way there's one more reason for less social characters to actually visit the club room rather than just get a photo, dip, and never come back.

As for the picture, it makes sense to not have it work, even if the fact there are multiple runes that lead to different cities already means that people can just fuck off after saying they found the rune chair or the rune sofa. I like the idea of Lucianus experimenting with no success to replicate the transport, in increasing panic for the time he will have to go back to the game room and decide what to do with this information. I will start writing in a bit, waiting for a bit more feedback before that but this makes sense. Maybe someone else will make progress by then.

Not only that, because the world in shower city also pauses when you go to Gras Paada. So you could adventure for 1 week in another world and then go back right to your regular life without any problems, right when you left it. Now without the time stop you face the issue of your exploration of gras paada being limited to however much free time you have in the regular world, since most people can't really afford to completely disappear from the world for long periods of time.

The one I'm making basically started as a BtN alternative, more balanced for MP (at least that was the goal).
Then I made a second one, then saw this suggestion of using a second CYOA to create a character in the BtN world so I thought I'd mix them together.
Right now you choose one between making a Lord and focus on creating a domain or a Hero and focus on creating a character.

I want to see an expanded version of the BtN's map. It would be quite intriguing to get a small glimpse of what lies beyond.

After finishing the Chunin exam she is a stronger fighter overall with her autonomous regeneration. Her intelligence has developed drastically and she is a very tactical fighter now that she has learned how to fight.

She is a dedicated medic ninja. In combat she uses her poison to severely paralyze her enemies and she uses her poison skills to produce poisonous clouds that hinder and choke an opponent. She can fight in this poisonous cloud since she is immune to poison which gives her a distinct advantage against her enemies.

Remilia has a fondness for snakes and she even speaks with a lisp. Most notably is how she pronounces “s”.

Remilia is a happy go lucky kind of girl possessed with a cheerful attitude. Although she is a bit of avid daydreamer she knows when to get serious and when to be casual. While Remilia is driven by competition, she is sweet and sensitive and can be brought to tears, especially when she feels she's let someone down or during emotional situations.
She aspires to be one of the best medic ninjas ever.

Swimming is fun. Building castles with your boys is too (dibs on being Godzilla when the time comes to take them down). Beach volleyball is also cool. Suikawari is also something he'd recommend, but is usually banned from participating in it himself because it has too much overlap with his normal combat style, so he's delegated to help set it up or do some trick shots. Sunbathing is a side effect of other activities. Why waste time lounging around when there is so much stuff to do? Unless it's a chance to chill with his gf.

Well, they did help each other. You could make it so that in the middle of the fight, one of them says something that tips off the other to being also from Shower City. It's probably a good way to also introduce them to the portal mechanics, as transporting to and from Gras Paada requires at least 2 people for it to work.
That brings up the question of who's compiling. It doesn't have to be too fancy, but I want to work on the font and the card when I get the free time. I should probably prepare some prompts too, I suppose.

Reza probably stays in the shade for the whole period. Despite being one of the more outdoorsy of the group, he's not very into staying under the sun for too long. Night is when he'll be the most active. Starting campfires for cooking sausages, looking for sand crabs by the shore, and overall enjoying the cooler breeze. Of course, the best part of the beach is the barbecue. He and Shun will probably be cooking their own specialties. Reza might grill some kebabs. Hopefully the marinade isn't too spicy for anyone.
As for sweets, maybe watermelon after the minigame, or some not-too-sweet ice pops to share with everyone. It's not every day that you could drag Yoshiko out in the sun, so those ice pops could help sweeten the deal for her. His favorite might be the soda flavor.

I'm using what I can get and trying to cross reference with the existing builds. I basically spent a few hours last night shifting across the old threads and the Rentry to grade dice and assign dispositions where they weren't mentioned. I also needed to add one more build to even things out since we had eleven participants and the Vozd wasn't directly participating, so I might post the 'Großmeister of the Pneumeri Brotherhood' when the tournament is concluded.

There isn't a physical benefit in actual Naruto for following the Will of Fire or whatever outside of the usual shonen convention of people with strong convictions getting an amp when the story calls for it. I think it was just the CYOA author gamifying how your starting location affects your character. People from x village are made from different stuff than y village and whatnot. As I said before, I think most of the "Wills" for the other nations are made up. Some of the nations themselves are even made up, I believe. So I'm not sure how much the lore of the village philosophies really matters here since there'll be cases of headcanon regardless.

Tomoe is fairly indifferent to the beach, and has typically been a sunbather on the rare occasions she's been to the beach. Sandcastles suit her more however, as she'd have a lot of fun trying to engrave little details into her sandcastle. She's on team slushies, ideally strawberry flavor.

Chihiro loved going to the beach with everyone last year, so she's certainly fond of it. You bet! The beach is fantastic. Especially, with all the girls! I mentioned it before, but he likes to fly to Ine Village in the Yosa District of Kyoto and hang out with the fishermens and along the beaches there. It's one of his chill spots when he wants to be alone.

He spent most of his summers in Kyushu Island so he's a pretty good swimmer. He turns Gigan into a surfboard and catch some waves, trying to show off. His surfing highscore isn't as high as his tony hawks pro skater one, but he has fun with it. At some point, he and the boys would try and get Beach Day and Victor in the water, and then use a ramp to surf in and jump over them, for fun.

He's okay at making sand castles, but Hifumi keeps godzilla'ing them. His favorite day to do at the beach is just walking around with someone, collecting clams from the mud in a bucket, then have a bonfire in the evening and shoot off sparklers. It's a great time for love to bloom.

Kakigori is not just his favorite treat, it's also his favorite food. Especially when topped with frozen fruits (apricots, dragonfruit, berries, etc) and mochi from his hometown. One of the part time jobs he did last summer (in the lost OVA episode where he makes up with his middle school class) is helping run an icecream stall. He had to deal with melted/dry icecream and all the clean-up in production, and that's turned him off icecream a bit.

Thanks, as I said I work fast once i get inspiration. I am trying to show more of his personality instead of just keeping it in my head or just explaining it. The whole point of his powers is that he inherited the instinctive fighting as well, as long as he is unarmed that is, and clawing people to death is pretty messy especially if you just fight instinctively. As for the experiments, he likes being somewhat of a researcher, and he has not given up on it, if he discovers one of the other charaters so much as just likes drawing he will ask them to draw the runes. I have inspiration for one more solo adventure that would realistically happen before the meeting, but I am still not sure if I should I don't want to be too annoying. It has the potential to be the longest if I get too carried away.

No clue about changes in the top ten though... I could see Majestic losing some ranks- he hasn't had a glowing performance lately and now he's... uh... not doing so hot after that last Sandy attack. Problem is who we should promote. Maybe Compound? He's already got popular, so maybe he's been rising. Honestly, our more active Pro-Heroes are all either already in the top ten, or are underground heroes.

As far as drawing goes, that'd be Tomoe. She grew up with art lessons on the side and took art up as a hobby, which is what eventually led her to join the forum in the first place. Thus he'd know there's an artist in the group from the online forum since she makes stuff for other people on request- like if they want their character drawn or something.
Anyway, if you feel inspired then I'd say go ham and have fun. Nothing wrong with writing what you want to write. I'll try to write up my conversation with the other anon from before, but I'm a much slower cook.
