Is it me or are Vanilla marine lists really model-light
out of the loop anon who never played anything but DoW and read some lore and Cains booksI heard alpharius returns - how many primarchs are active right now in 41k?Last time I paid attention there was only Gullieman
>TQsword brethren
Going back and playing older editions of Warhammer, specifically 5th ed but sprinkling a little 7th in.Man, why did GW have to resize all of their stuff so dramatically. I can't shake the feeling I'm doing something "wrong" by playing with the new Sentinel models instead of the older ones. I take what I can get, though.>Don't get me started on Crisis suits and Broadside battlesuits. How do you feel about incorrect model bases or model heights in your games?
>>94425120>I heard alpharius returnsHe has not. His spear showed up in a model teaser yesterday though.>how many primarchs are active right now in 41k?Bobby G and Lion Gayman for the loyalists. Magnus, Morty and Angryron extremely so for chaos (because they have models), as well as Fulgrim getting a few nods over the last few editions (his model will be out in 2025). Perty and Lorgar have been mentioned kinda doing stuff in a few lore snippets.
>>94425142"incorrect" can suck my nuts. For a brief moment GW had the stance that "your models are never obsolete" and it was great. drag out that rogue trader ork, 3rd edition biker, whatever. Now I've gotta rebase a gorillion orks just to get a pickup game.
>>94425142>How do you feel about incorrect model bases or model heights in your games?I think it's fun to have some variety. The rules are all too stupid and trashy to get worked up over a few millimetres in height or width, and seeing more models on the table than just current-product sparks a little bit of joy in me. Manlets and primaris can be part of the same squad for all I care, just as long as all the guns look roughly applicable for the unit's datasheet.
>>94425087>TQThe Kelermorph. It's so cool and I have fond memories of the absolute bullshit the little dude could get up to in 9th ed. Him getting butchered was probably the worst thing about the 10th ed index, but at least he's gotten back a little bit of his old glory.
>>94425163I see, thanks>He has not. His spear showed up in a model teaser yesterday though.got baited by shitty clickbait thumbnail, should've known better>Lion oh he came out of woodwork? lol cheers again, weird fucking setting, see ya in another 5+ years
>>94425163>His spear showed up in a model teaser yesterday though.we don't actually know if it's his spear honestly, it might be a new CSM token HQ model for the Harrowmaster guy, it could also just be a token DE model though or some side game shit
>TQnurglings
>>94425087>TQTerminators of all kinds are my jam
>>94425277jesus christ anon disable the ai enhancements on your camera, this looks so fucking weird
This novel goes into preorder this coming Saturday. Any expectations for it?
>>94425142The old ones look better to my eye too. Maybe it's nostalgia and "new thing bad" but I think the new ones look too round and sleek. That's an issue with the rogal dorn compared to the leman Russ too. The old ones look rough and somewhat crude.
>>94425344I dunno ask /hhg/

Thoughts on the mystery niggas?
>>94425087>TQI think squighogs are really neat
>>94425445There are many secrets but there are no mysteries.
>>94425445Unless they intend to bring Clone Fulgrim out as a loyalist and he becomes their primarch i think they should 100% keep the mystery a mystery. The answer is never as fun as the theories. Like the Flesh Eater Court Bretonnians deal in AoS used to be. Just fucking leave it. Unless they are literally made the army for a loyalist fulgrim clone leave it and never ever explain it. Theres no other reason to dispel the mystery.
>>94425087>TQit's based purely on aesthetics because I don't play tabletop but I really love tech priests
>>94425087Heavy intercessors.

>>94425560>darkmech actually have a vector for entering the settingSo does Clone grim.>exodites are pure delusionAgreed.
>>94425445Just a coincidence, look no further into it>Blessed is the mind too small for doubt
>>94425560exodites had rules for their signature unit in an eldar codex and can do so again, just like corsairs got added
>>94425584>when you have people selling decal sheets and shit on etsy>its truehuh. well i'd take them other the forced meme that is the tome keepers.
>>94425382They'd be an annoying unit to push off of side objectives since they have stealth and a lot of wounds for a stealthy unit.Otherwise they're basically just more expensive (and slightly better) legionaries.I'd either shoot them off with Blast weapons or hammer them with Jump Intercessors+Captain.I don't really like either option since it means using more expensive units to kill cheaper ones but I guess that's the nature of my army.Either that or I just ignore them and try to kill parts of your army that can do more serious damage. Terminators, Chosen, and Tanks are all bigger threats.
>>94425593Thanks anon. Sounds like I need wyches, wracks and their HQs and some more boats next
>>94425445The only cool/memorable design from the primaris founding and its really just candles.

>>94425634Added to the grey knights codex, I hope
>>94425677>Listed as Imperial Fists successor>Entirely Primaris with no veterans>Only Cawl had a hand in the gene seed selection>Prideful>Martial Mastery fetishists>A little faggy>THEY ARE CALLED SONS OF THE PHOENIX S-surely Rogal Dorns truest sons! Just ignore the smell of hairspray and penchant for silk capes.
>>94425634We're gonna get Headless Ferrus leading the legion.I hope they're a 3 inch deepstrike unit to replace Inceptors instead of another divergent chapter.
>>94425680Primaris aren't tacticool.Only phobos is, and they are dogshit, work on your bait.
>>94425690All LotD should have ever been is a single unit of regular space marines with a really low save but they vanish after 2 turns and only can come out of reserves if you are losing.
>>94425445Your heart's desire is to be told some mystery. The mystery is that there is no mystery.
>>94425699>I hope they're a 3 inch deepstrike unit to replace Inceptors instead of another divergent chapter. We all know that Legion of the Damned are going to be their own army. (If they are even real, anon could just be making up shit to stir up drama)At best they might have souping rules with other marine armies, but I wouldn't hold my breath for that.
>>94425634I could see them being a unit that's a lot like The Sanguinor- you keep them in reserves and when your opponent charges one of your units, the Sanguinor deploys engaged with that charging unit, and he has Fights First to spoil the charge.Presumably LotD would be another "Saviors out of nowhere" type unit. Having them in reserve might make your opponent not even want to commit to charging with infantry.
>>94425695>>PridefulFists.>Martial Mastery fetishists>A little faggyWrong. Their thing is being religious, like Black Templars, another Imperial Fist successor. >But dey got purple>But muh Phoenix Guilliman was the one who did the Ultima founding, why would he take try dropping inane hints as to them actually being Emperor's Childern?
>>94425634>>Reliable leaker says GW are workshopping Legion of the Damned.>Imperial Daemons before Chaos Daemons
>>94425750>He thinks the legion of the damned aren't demons!

>>94425753please its been 20 years not this thread again...
>>94425706>regular space marinesBut I don't like that approach, otherwise grey knights too and plenty of other "outside supports" should be rolled in the generic marine codex when there's so many of them that they can, should (and partially do) fit all in one separate supplementespecially because it wouldn't be just other marines who would receive support from these units, but other imperial armies too, and it's just ugly to repeat the unit in all of those armies
>>94425634Yeah I'm thinking we're back

>>94425586>>94425647nopethe sons of the phoenix shit has already been deboonked by james, the clonegrim shit was literally just written to sell more fulgrim HH books with him as LE TRAGIC UNWILLING EVILMAN
>>94425695>>94425733Per Maxime he wanted them to be a pious chapter, not purple Ultramarines like loyalist EC. >The idea is that this chapter is an entirely Primaris force, successor to the Imperial Fist and therefore directly affiliated with the holy Terra. Dark Eldar refresh soon. I can feel it.
>>94425600corsairs are a single KT box you mongoloidexodites never had non-epic scale modelsexodites will never have modern models
>>94425753They are either psychic creations of the Emperor or loyalist warp entities that formed from His worship. What difference does it make?
>>94425733I mean let's be real, if Gorillaman knew any prohibited geneseed was used HE most definitely wouldn't give them a wink wink nudge nudge name that a 10yo could intuit the true meaning of.....but GW definitely would.
>>94425690Why would they? LotD was always space marine unit.>>94425706They were tactical squad with 3++ who always deep striked, ignored covers with shooting, ignored morale and had no penalties for moving and shooting heavy waepons.Outside 3++ they were nothing special.
>>94425660irontard spotted
>>94425779Legion of the Damned, Grey Knights, Deathwatch and Inquisitors should be a single special unit in any imperium army and not their own armies. There i said it.
>>94425787No one started as a painting God, brother. You have to work at it and constantly try to improve to reach that level.
>>94425796They are interesting enough to have their own supplement. Like give them 40k flagellants as a loyalist version of chaos cultists and rules for having a sisters of battle unit for flavor or something.
>>94425779>>94425814you fucking ass faggots got what you wanted with agents now SHUT THE FUCK UP

>>94425836uh oh exoditefag melty
>>94425818Unrelated, but I once knew a painting savant who just picked up a brush one day and made capital A level Art. But he was also severely autistic, needed parental supervision just to be in public, and had the mental age of maybe a 9-10 year old. They didn't play, they just liked painting and sci fi monsters and collected Tyranids
>>94425812Nah I'm a Word Bearer enjoyer I just don't like how oblits don't look like terminators and just wear diapers.
>>94425818I get that, just right now I have a shitload of minis to paint so it's more about quantity over quality atm (it's a horde army) so I haven't been trying to get better as of late, just trying to be more efficient. I do plan on trying out different techniques once I get enough if these minis done
>>94425850Save your autism for Kill Team where you paint ten models take a week to do it.
>>94425733>Wrong. Their thing is being religiousWhich is pretty much the same as the EC during the Great Crusade who were fervent believers of the Imperial Truth and spread it far and wide, who had their own followers following them around. And both make a big spectacle of their battles.
>>94425856Probably be perfect timing as I'm still waiting for the fucking tankbusta pre orders
>>94425836nope, plenty of things that should be in the imperial agents book weren't included and the rules to field the imperial agents are a mess.
look at these Salamander successors dude
>>94425757I mean it's alright, it's to your taste. They just look too greebled. I appreciate how it's going for an Akira type fusion. It just looks like a pain in the ass to paint.

>>94425796>i will neither confirm or deny if they are EC *winkyface*That more or less shows he is 100% aware of what they look like and what kind of feel they give off.He did everything intentionally. You don't just "accidentaly" create an entire loyalist marine chapter whose main colors are white, purple and gold (pre-heresy EC colorscheme) and then make them into fervent believers of the imperial religion just like the EC were with the Imperial Truth pre-heresy, while then going out of your way to name them "Sons of the Phoenix", which is specifically title that refers to Fulgrim. While also the chapter logo looks like its a variation/an off-shoot of the EC legion symbol with the whole helmet surrounded by a wing motif.
>>94425872Looks slick. I like it.

>>94425898>desire for personal gratification.that's during their downfallthey were literally so devoted to the emperor and favored by him that he gave them exclusive use of the aquila
>>94425757Looks more like nurgle obliterators. If you want to use them for that, sure, but they don't fit other legions.
>>9442589630k isn't 40kstop being retarded
>>94425906Imperial Truth was just the Emperor's secular version of religion. But you already know this, I know what you're doing.Be smarter with your bait.
>>94425897Half and halfI like to build an army that has useful shit in it and a few things that are still somewhat useful but fun. I try avoid anything that is pure garbage however, generally models that don't look great and are also terrible

>>94425929>lorelet retardYep, it's US time.
>>94425634>DON'T CURRENT YEAR TACTICOOL FUCKING GHOSTS.Uh bwo it's a little too late for that, the fucking Sanguinor somehow crossed the Rubicon and apparently also became a heavy fat ass as a result since now he needs a Primaris(TM) grav chute to stay aloft, too much Cawl-Fried-Chicken means he can't fly with just his own wings anymore
How many rogue traders are there at any one time?
>>94425969At least 2
>>94425956>YOU MEAN ROGUE TRADER ERA EXODITES!?no, they had codex rules to run an entire army of exodites (not in Epic, in mainline 40k) long after Rogue Trader. The fact you don't know this and are so confidently incorrect is kind of embarrassing
>>94425959>somehowIt makes perfect sense. If the Sanguinor is just Brother Clark Kent then of course he'd now be Primaris. If he's a psychic projection of the Blood Angels then of course he'd now be Primaris. If he's some sort of daemonic entity then of course he should be able to change his shape.
>>94425955Would make the most sense if they are based on water worlds. And in general water worlds aren't super common in 40k.There's like 2 places I can remember that mentions water worlds and it is:1. Tyran Prime, which was the first confirmed Imperial planet that came into contact with tyranids, it's where they got their name too.2. The under water hivecities mentioned in the background fluff for the Sons of Malice.
>>94425955Because there are no rules for water combat and space superiority largely rpekac s the need for naval actions. There are some accounts of the Emperor's Children waging war be with the waves though, I think.
>>94425955Most model ranges in 40k are clearly not equipped for subaquatic fighting.
>>94425943you're so delusional it's hilariousyou never had models and you never willcope and seethe all you want
>>94425990There's some instances of Orks launching amphibious assaults in the 3rd Armageddon war.
>>94425445>>94425484>>94425636>>94425641>>94425695There is no mystery, the author literally said that it genuinely was a coincidence and that he fully intended them to be a religious crusading chapter like the Black Templars using colors that aren’t too common amongst loyalist palettes.
Dark Eldar squated soon, I can feel it.
>>94426022Don't bother, they think they're clever for associating purple with phoenix.
>>94426000I don't think they'll be a mainline faction anytime soon (but I also wouldn't have thought GSC would be one and was pleasantly surprised), but you're nuts if you seriously think it's impossible for GW to throw out a Kill Team of jungle elves at some point in the next decade. Hell, they might even be as lazy as they did with Hand of the Archon and literally just release an "exodite" Kill Team that's just an upgrade sprue with dinosaur bone accessories and fur costs for Rangers.
>>94425934It had crusade, not-priests, not holly texts, and it required you to follow it without question and to venerate Emperor who totally wasn't a god. Everyone who denied imperial truth was killed and his temples and books burned.Imperial Truth was religion of reddit atheist in universe where gods are real. This is also why it didn't survived, because it's hard to be atheist when your nightmares given flesh try to kill you while raping all known laws of reality.
>>94426000>you never had modelsNeither did half the Tyranid codex before Chapterhouse, I'll take having rules and needing to make /my dudes/ over having out of production resin models but not even being allowed to bring shit because it's all either Legend'd or straight up squatted. If they brought back custom Tyranid biomorphs but didn't make new models for them I'd fucking love that

How can you defend a non-important Imperial planet against the enemies? Armageddon, Macragge and Cadia are important places, attacked by the most powerful foes, and defended by huge imperial presences.Meanwhile Prefectia and Agrellan were relatively minor planets, who fell to a relatively small but determined incursion, and were defended by the Standard Imperial Response (the High Lords are too busy elsewhere).>TL;DR: What it /your dudes'/ defense plan?>If they are fleet based, how do they react to an enemy fleet? But their skin would go back to normal once the exposure ceased. Not Salamanders.Their melanochromes are Permanent Marker. As for their granite skin and especially their fiery weed eyes, those would be way harder to fake than just being black.
>>94426128Big, shielded, orbital guns.Invaders cannot live off the land if they don't get to actually land where the resources are lmao (it's a desert planet).Sieges rely on time, but for planetary sieges, time is on the defender's side
>>94426297Not quite, they get darker from radiation like rest fo the marines, just they don't return to normal skin colour because of gene-seed flaw. Because Nocturne is fucking radioactive shithole they are permanently radiation tanned. You absolutley can pretend to be or not to be a son of vulkan, just don't live on radioactive planets. There was BA sucessor with Red Thirst and Black Rage and all who themselves thought they were Ultramarines. If BA chapter could be mistaken even by themselves for UM then there is no problem pretending to be Salamanders.

Eisenhorn had a home/villa that was underwater, the elite of that hiveworld instead of living above the clouds in high spires kept the ocean to themselves, with bio-luminescent fish dancing through their large windows several kilometers beneath the surface. So there are underwater civilizations and homes in 40k they just never get any focus

A game mechanic/scenario idea; As Eldar, if you're sending your forces directly into mortal combat you've already failed before the fighting even starts. It's typical to divert the attention of any enemies with other enemies, so here's one way to try and include this into the game. Either as a standard rule or just as a scenario, the Eldar player can include in their list Non-Aelderi units as an AI third-party. They can't be controlled, will only go after the closest enemy, either your or your opponents units and they can't use any stratagems. The only thing you control is the choice of units to bring, when they show up and which side of the board they arrive on.It's always bothered me that in the lore every asuryani death is seen as a tragedy but in the actual game your spending their lives whether you want to or not. This way you have a way to safeguard the people you're leading while making your enemies useful, very Eldar.

>>94427162There's a lot of factions with that sort of tabletop dissonance. Any deathwing list that gets tabled is a thousand year notable loss of priceless suits of relic Terminator armor that date back to the DAOT. Most entire chapters have less than 100 suits of Terminator shit, you can lose a sizeable percentage of that in a single 2k point game. There's only 10,000 custards in the entire galaxy. Blanks are one in a billion, wiping out a 100 point squad of Prosecutors takes 10,000,000,000 people to replace. You can handwaved shit by just saying casualties aren't fatal, a squad of fire dragons hopping out of a wave serpent to blow up a dreadnought or land raider aren't actually falling over dead like suicidal retards the next turn because they understand the concept of trading-up on tabletop points, they're just forced to retreat or flee back into the webway or whatever. Same with millenia old dreadnoughts, when they're taken out they're not actually blown up but just disabled and can't move, etc. Some armies like Daemons and Necrons can literally just shrug off any losses as "lol doesn't count" but a "casualty" in the tabletop doesn't have to be lethal narratively, that was also the whole idea behind Battle Shock, it's not just morale, it's also stuff like equipment failure or being suppressed

Trying to think of a system where specialist games would grant bonuses to the main games. I'm imagining a big battle map with 4 hemispheres for BFG control. The second legion now canonically would conquer worlds by infiltrating the rich among their society then influence the world leaders to to as they wished. This usually lead to creation of a world currency that they solely control, mass immigration from loyal imperial worlds, control over all forms of media, faking evidence of genocides to make the strongest groups of people look guilty on the world stage, and ruination of the worlds food supply to make it subtly toxic. Out of all their attempts at conquest, they were rebelled against on 109 worlds and subsequently expelled from their positions of power. The Emperor did not tolerate their Primarch's incompetence

>>94427857Farseers got access to all the best psychic disciplines in the game in 6thIn 6th ed they introduced "allies" which let you take allied units from another army. There were a bunch of restrictions but essentially if you were 'battle brothers' with another faction you could cast buffs and stuff, treat it all as one unified force. The intention was to have it so you could play a guard list with a small contingent of Marines or Sisters or something fluffy, or ally across Chaos with ease. But to keep the Xenos happy, they added a few xeno synergies. Tau and Eldar were battle brothers. You had to take a HQ + Troops and then elite, troop, FA or Heavy with no special characters. The Jetbike Farseer and the Tau support system commander could both spread absurd buffs, so you had things like a Riptide that could reroll scatter dice and ignore cover so it would place down a template and kill a squad of MEQ without them getting a single save. The firewarriors being backline snipers + fast attacking bikes to hit midfield objectives was a potent combo. You could also take a fucking Wraithknight as an ally so your Tau lists not only had high mobility point-capturing troops, giant buffs on your riptides that let you one-shot MEQ and control the game with psychic powers, you also had a distraction carnifex Wraithknight. The Farseer would give these absurd units invisibility, or just superb reliability. Riptides would be invisible and kill whatever non-vehicle it looked at once per turn while being completely immune to any form of retribution.

Players don't need to play multiple systems, but they can interact with each other outside the game and communicate. In short: everyone is playing a different game which affect the larger campaign. You can fix any problem through being the Game Master of the campaign; if one side needs a little boost, come up with scenarios that can help keep the campaign fun, like if one side is fucked then the objectives changes and you add new parameters, conditions and opportunities.Your only issue is being able to run all the systems at once (enough tables and supervision) and keep the campaign situation intelligible for players, so they know what's going on.

If for some reason it bothers you so much some nobody from 4chan will see your space marines or post a link to your reddit account here maybe you should not post them where they can be easily reverse searched
>>94428068>a redemptor with new weapons is not a new modelthen neither is a carnifex with new (old) weapons
>>94427888Honestly several 40K factions should probably be the same. Tyranid fleets don't play nice with each other. Orks barely tolerate another boss from their own clan, let alone a different one. Dark Eldar would rather ally with anyone but another Dark Eldar. Even Sisters and Space Marines notoriously don't get along well, let alone the AdMech who are fervent advocates of a different religion.
>>94428063or you give up on niche thing and stick with the simple stuff>you can ally all imperials with all other imperials (except sisters with admech unless there's a third imperial faction in-between)>you can ally all chaos with all chaos (except khorne with slaanesh or nurgle with tzeentch, unless there's a third chaos army in-between)>you can ally eldar and dark eldar>you can ally votann with either tau or marines or guard>you can ally genecults with either guard or tyranids>you can't ally anything else
>>94428126I actually like the ally system currently, even though I'm not entirely thrilled with the restrictions on how it's implementedeldar/tau "allies" were already baked in their lists, they don't even pay an ally tax like imperium/chaos dothe other factions are either too insular, or so disjointed that them even working together is a monumental feat
>>94427992Those boxes stick around for a long ass time don't fall for GW's hype, check ebay like a month after it releases and you'll get a 10% discount minimum maybe more depending on how greedy the seller got
>>94428155>you can ally all imperials with all other imperialsyeah nah fuck off, this is the Grim Darkness of the 41st Millennium and the Imperium is a crumbling Byzantine bureaucracy with a million internal factions and micro states warring for control. Every Imperial holding hands and singing kumbayah is fucking stupid, go play Grand Alliance Order in Age of Sigmar if you want that shit
>>944281266th ed allied charts differentiated between diferent imperial factions like most marine chapters got allong but DA and SW had a beef, marines had problems with sisters and GK/Inquisition didn't like anyone, Tau could ally easly with standard marines but not BA, DA, SW or Templars, 7th ed pulled all imperial factions into single bracket. To be fair Marines getting along more with Tau than Sisters or GK was retarded."Comes to apocalypse" aka red option was also funny, because you could take allies like Tyranids and Black templars or Grey Knights and Chaos Daemons, but they had to keep distance or you would have to attack your own units.
>>94428176For DKOK stuff? Delusional
>>94425604>tome keepersRead that as "tone keepers" at first and was like, yeah that does fit the zeitgeist.
>>94428092This was typed by someone with no social life
>>94428196Anon but 99% of the time Imperium factions are cooperating. Sisters, Marines, Guard, Mechanicus and forces of Inquisition are working together against xenos or chaos, sometimes they even have Eldar assistance. Sometimes there is little disagreement or even little friendly fire but Imperial factions are working together all the time.
My favorite part after a long, three hour intense, careful painting session is turning to my palette and taking in all the little pools of different paints. Its like a reminder of the journey I went on that day, a good progress check.
>>94428212guard does not sell well at all, not even shovelfaggots

>>94428196>this is the Grim Darkness of the 41st Millennium and the Imperium is a crumbling Byzantine bureaucracy with a million internal factions and micro states warring for control.and yet they're consistently shown to coordinate on the war frontif you don't want to ally your marines to a guard army that's fine, but pretending marines and guardsmen don't ally is ridiculous
>>94425445the mystery is they are actual sisters of battle inside

>>94428237in 3rd you could ally 400 points from your alliance no questions asked and in 4th you get access to every alliance regiment of renown. 40k does not need every single imperium list running 400 points of black templar crusaders every time they're undercosted as fuck, or the return of the loyal 32
>>94428196a massed force of guard while a small squad of marines take an objective is how 99.99999% of engagement with marines go

>>94428251he never went away, he just doesn't have his name attached to the updated model and updated rules, but they're there
>>94428256>allying 400pts is the same as running a GA army
>>94428253same reason why chopping off your arm doesn't count as evolution
>>94428257when you play marines in 40k, you're already playing as that small squadron of marines taking an objective. that's what objectives ARE. a planetary engagement will have 100000000000 guardsmen but a 2,000 point game is less than a company of marines, even "horde" armies like nids is like 60 or 80 gants, not hundreds. You are ALREADY playing the small focused battle for the objectives that matter.
>>94428233Lol
>>94428271it doesn't, if the guard sold well it would have been included in a starter set to capitalise on it
>>94428231>2 paintsuhhh anon how much did you paint in those 3 hours
>>94428275By this logic dark eldar sell well because they've been in a starter set. Get a grip.

>>94428253>Remind me again, why aren't space marines mutants? They're intentionally modified humans and their changes are not hereditary, so I guess that's why they get the super-soldier label. Meanwhile Navigators are also an intentionally modified branch of humanity, but they breed true
>>94428323Sounds like a skill issue combined with acute autism on your part. The actions of waacfags are irrelevant if you have friends and can just tell them to knock it off. Only people who cry about waacfags are people stuck playing pickup games or are too autistic to speak up for themselves
>>94428312>Terra has canonically QUADRILLIONS of people when the Great Rift opened and Daemons attacked it at the start of IndomitusI would like a source on that, just curious. Not that it matters because GW don't undestrand math, or guns, or vehicles, to be fair GW don't understand shit. This is why War in Heaven that was mere 60 million years ago was "eons ago", when 60 million years are not even close of single eon.

>>94428349>Sounds like a skill issue combined with acute autism on your part. You're the one with autism mad you can't ally GRAND ALLIANCE ORDER slop like Age of Sigmar. >>94428420I think you need to remember when that survey was taken. In 2022 guard had been playing 9th with an 8th edition codex for over two years and had a truly awful time at the game table. Anyone that has multiple armies was playing anything but guard so it was unlikely to be anyone's primary just then.

How many "regulars" do you guys have at your LGS?We seem to have about twenty that show up to monthly tournaments and a rotating cast of once-in-while and new player faces of five to ten others at any given time.
