Why didn’t Kate Upton have a bigger acting career? She’s basically just an oversized Sydney Sweeney
>>217316280That she ONLY appeared in a couple of junk films over the course of 13 years says it all, she was a really big name for a while, all over magazines and adverts as a supermodel, they used to do that mobile game ad campaign that was just sold on her showing loads of cleavage. Cara Delevingne appeared in far more high profile films and shows during her media push and she's crap at acting.
>>217316464>Cara Delevingne appeared in far more high profile films and shows during her media push and she's crap at actingThat's my point. Skill does not matter. Her ability to act has nothing to do with her lack of roles. She married a super rich athlete and probably didn't want to do sexual favors for disgusting hollywood producers. If she did, she would have had more movie roles.
>>217316766>That's my point. Skill does not matter. It does, because Cara faded from those big roles very quickly despite her huge media push, she became a drain on films and producers will not cast you if they think you're going to hurt their project's chances of success. You don't have to be the greatest in the world, but a minimum amount of acting ability or at least screen presence is needed. Name value alone will only carry you so far.
>>217316272She was great for a minute, but then her tits sort of deflated and disappeared. But even at her biggest, she was still smaller than Upton
>>217315490Real answer: She threw it all away to be a mom and wife and now lives happily with two kids and husband. Sweeney said she wanted to be a young mom but hasn't stopped making movies and dumped her long-time bf.
For me, it's Aunt Petunia.
>>217315583She claims to have no magical abilities but those legs are clearly magical

>>217316094That's kino.
>>217315776Good idea. If there's any future for the Jurassic Park franchise, it would be to move away from dinosaurs (as eternally cool as they are) and give the spotlight to other cool prehistoric animals that are less known by the general public than dinosaurs. But I guess if that happens, then the 'Jurassic Park' title would no longer be accurate and instead become an artifact title. Although you could correctly make the argument that most of the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park are technically from the Cretaceous Period instead of the Jurassic Period anyway.>>217313545Based, I wholeheartedly agree with you. It genuinely blows my mind how many different and utterly alien forms of life have come and gone without our awareness right here on Earth during Earth's long history of 4.5 billion years. And this is just one planet we're talking about here. Imagine even just one other planet anywhere else in the universe filled with life (like Earth) and with a history of 4.5 billion years (again, like Earth) for all of these forms of life to evolve into different forms of life. God is infinitely creative and uses evolution as the engine of life.
>>217316619It's a shame because they're total kino. They held on a lot longer in the arctic because crocodilians couldn't handle the winters so they couldn't outcompete them there

>A New Hope>Luke wants to buy the R4 droid, but it malfunctions and he's forced to buy the R2 droid instead>Disney Expanded Universe>The R4 droid is actually a sentient jedi droid who sensed Luke was the chosen one and sacrificed himself using the Force Selfdestruct technique so that Luke would buy R2D2 insteadWhy?
>>217316746That wasn’t Disney. Skippy the Jedi Droid was a joke story in a Lucasfilm-era comic, Star Wars Tales. The whole book is full of parodies, including a story where Yoda and Mace reenact the diner scene from Pulp Fiction while talking about how the prequels don’t make sense.
>>217316746>Disney Expanded UniverseDo zoomers even know the wookiepedia? Disney was just continuing the rich tradition of Star Wars autism.
They should remake Misery, cast Sydney Sweeney as Annie she should rapes the writer and the ending would be change so that Annie would get pregnant, have many kids and the writer would die of old age still shacked to the bed

>>217316184Why would James Caan sign up for this movie knowing his lower legs would be broken?
>>217314559Lol I'd go see.
>>217316470Because he was James Caan, not James Caant.
Modern cinema would portray Annie as the hero and Paul would be the villain.
I'm finally watching game of thrones after avoiding it for many yearsThe dialogue in this show is fan fiction tier, actually worse because it's what you'd come up with if you had no interest in what you were writing at all, like someone forced at gunpoint to write shitty fanfic for someone else (weird scenario). Sterile, stilted, uncreative, clunky, literally painful to listen toMy question is, are the books this bad? If not, why did they change it for TV? Or if so, why was this DOGSHIT so popular?
what are your reasons?I think it's because I prefer the seeing the world they were in compared to today, the way people communicated and so on.
>>217316453>You like things? You’re such a loser! Hating everything is what cool and smart people do!
>"Old" film vs Modern erathe main difference isn't forcing browns as main characters, its how women are portrayedYou would have to not be a woman to notice this. If you're a foid in 2025 you live in such a vacuum that anything short of Cpt Marvel or Anora, you get cognitive dissonance. "Old" movies understood reality and that women played a role. There were things they could do and things they could not. You can write STRONG female characters without making them superman.https://youtu.be/E7_BpvWDZy8?si=KNGsJscBwdUByDXs&t=191women were portrayed as feminine and filling their roles >>217313606Women in films today are shit talking, ass-kicking, beer-farting, psychopath whores

Very awkward situation just now. I looked in the app and it said there'd be FNAF at 11:30 so I came here. I order 2 hot dogs, a pizza and a soda and a ticket for FNAF but he tells me "we don't have FNAF playing" and I says "oh, I thought it was it's why I'm here so early" and I got one for a different movie. Figured out I saw the show times for the other theater 40 miles away so I told him that was why I made that mistake, he says "it happens, what's worse is people who buy a ticket for there then come here and we gotta tell them they got no ticket here"Who else with good theater stories?
