>>217401502forgot to post a few reviews here>Western (?) A whole lot of talking about peace between indians and whites bookended by two great action sequences. Basically a clone of Broken Arrow with worse cinematography, structure, pacing and lead. Still, those action sequences are really that good and I like Westerns (?)https://letterboxd.com/dingoatemybabi/film/pony-soldier/
>>217401502>Animated musical. Really great songs, looks great, breezes on well enough then hits an utter wall in the last twenty minutes. No idea why Maui or the pig is in this at all. Pick one animal sidekick and stick with it.https://letterboxd.com/dingoatemybabi/film/moana-2016/
>>217401502>Sci-fi thriller. Fantastic FX, breezy pace, great performances from Pratt, Howard, D'Onofrio. Schwartzman and that shot where they're running through the shops just shows why he's one of the best. The kids are pretty dreadful and just show how bad the dialogue actually is and how great the rest of the cast is at saving it. Fantastic popcorn movie where almost everyone (except the kids and Trevorrow) is performing at the top of their game. 5 stars for this fifth rewatch.https://letterboxd.com/dingoatemybabi/film/jurassic-world/
What went so right?
>>217410349im saying because I read enough howard to know it aint all that so the film feels like turning stone into gold instead of spitting on the legacy of a great writer the way hackson did
>>217409552Someone post the gif
>>217410060you're right that the terms of the oath don't specify how many fights, what the oath specifies is that the ghost army will only answer to isildur's heir and fight for him. and due to the fact that there is no minimum or maximum amount of battles they are contracted for, it means one is the minimum amount they need and if the terms of the oath have been met (answering the call of isildur's heir to aid his army against the enemy), then there's nothing else aragorn can do but release them.congratulations, you played yourself.
>>217408977Not all of Lewis's good characters were christian or even religious so it is not as binary as you claim it to be but they were indeed writing stories where christianity is the moral norm or the ultimate ideal However and just like Dostoevsky , I don't consider that made their books shit but it made in fact for excellent stories
>>217411194I haven't read much of C.S. Lewis, but Dostoyevsky couldn't draft to save his life, his books are decent conceptually, but are too bloated to be really effective.
Movies where the lovable underdog overcomes adversity to become the champion?
>>217411100so is she fat now or knocked up? either way the bills aren't the underdogs and never have been, they're just straight trash lmao.
>>217411302Yes, she's knocked up
This is why Hailie keeps making films where she fucks black guys

>>217411014>evil white colonizersThere is an entire audience of rabid, college brainwashed cultists out there that would LOVE to see a remake so they can virtue signal while shitting on white people
>>217411196Raya. Her movie came and went like a wet fart. I remember it getting btfo by a Tom and Jerry movie. If you start talking about Disney princesses most people don't even know she exists
>>217411250yes but they dont have children to take to see a childrens movie.
When did the Simpsons go to shit?
If you can pinpoint the exact moment of decline, I'd say the S9 episode The Principal and the Pauper. They completely rewrite Skinner's backstory only to disregard all of it at the end of the episode. So fucking shitty.
>>217408021>I defy you to find one fan that was growing up while it was at it's peak.Everyone in the 90s watched and talked about The Simpsons, but no one called themselves "a fan". Back then things were much simpler. You watched a show but you didn't have to be part of am obsessed "fan" community. In fact, this show and the rest of 90s media mocked contemporary fan communities as being a bunch of nerds and freaks. The world changed drastically since then. Now everyone is "a fan" and relentlessly defends their preferred corporate product online. They spend more time reading posts and watching videos about a TV show than watching the show itself. It simply wasn't like that back then. If you weren't a zoomer you'd know this
>>217411241Some will defend this episode saying that it's actually mocking tv shows that change a character's backstory as a cheap ratings ploy, which is true, but the problem is that it's not funny, so instead of coming off as a spoof of those shitty tv episodes it simply is one of those shitty tv episodesIt also happens to be right after the episode Homer vs the City of New York which is the last great episode of the series
The simpsons decline roughly corresponds with 9/11. there are very few simpsons episodes made after 9/11/01 worth watching. It is not a coincidence.

no point even trying to keep it alive, he's just going to shit himself all over it same as yesterday. this is an almost 40 year old "man" that has been screaming for attention like a retarded toddler in kdg for over a year, and doesn't watch kdrama.
He's going to turn 40 this year and he's still acting like a child ruining everyone else's time
Can we ever come back from where we are as a society and not be offended by literally everything? Could a movie like Blazing Saddles ever be made again?
Mel Brooks is terribly unfunny. None of his movies or roles have ever even made me remotely smirk, let alone laugh
>>217409993> we How about people who have seen the movie? Are you so infatuated with America that you have forgotten your own society?I suggest watching the movie.
Is there a history of the world part 2?
>Could a movie like Blazing Saddles ever be made again? You would all call it woke
>>217409944if people start producing "offensive" things without caring about backlash, I think most everyone would get over iteven now, pozzslop factories are constantly whining about their poor reception
334 Days Until DOOMSDAY
>>217407777that would be kino
>>217407690true but they had built up towards that movie for 10 years. Its been almost 10 years since endgame and all theyve been doing is cameos.
>>217410071>they had built up towards that movie for 10 years.*Infinity Warwhich was one of the best capeshits of all time and all Endgame does is shit all over it and take it all back in exchange for Downey and Evans

>>217402252I don't mind RDJ playing Dr. Doom, but if he's just an evil alternate universe Tony Stark that would be really stupid.
this was great, why?
i like how dracula had like magic influencing powers over humans
Literally one of the best movies ever, great depiction of vampire abilities and Winona Ryder so hot
All the the parts without Keanu Reeves are great
what are we even doing here?
>>217409983>commander, let us tell you about our sexual organs
>>217409819>what are we even doing here?Checking how much power then can route from the shield generator to the food replicator
the best explanation for a show like this is that studios despise that audiences only want to watch reboots and sequels, so they're making reboots and sequels so unpalatable that we seek out new IPs and original stories

Previous: >>217358270Five years ago, a man's fantasy became a reality in a forum never seen before: Kitchen Stadium, a giant cooking arena. The motivation for spending his fortune to create Kitchen Stadium was to encounter new original cuisines which could be called true artistic creations. To realize his dream, he first secretly started choosing the top chefs of various styles of cooking, and he named his men the Iron Chefs. This Iron Chef general thread is brought to you by Wedgewood China.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZ8DMnzjvUs
>>217410589OK.....

The Bone Temple is a kino Gnostic movie. Think about it. Samson is like Adam (he's even named after a Biblical figure), he's brought out of a state of nature into a state of humanity by Dr. Ian Kelson who gives him a "fruit" (anti-psychotic medication in the film) that lifts the veil from his eyes and suddenly he has knowledge of what he really is. Dr. Ian Kelson is even called Satan in the movie, just like the serpent in the garden was. But he also is sacrificed, similar to Jesus. Jesus and the serpent are one and the same in Gnostic myth. Samson also reminds me a lot of Enkidu in the Epic of Gilgamesh. He even looks like Enkidu (and anyone with knowledge of history knows that the Epic of Gilgamesh inspired the Book of Genesis since Enkidu = Adam).
>>217410939Proofs?
I'm going to go see it at the cinemas to support the franchise!
>>217410513His whole skeleton will be there when he eventually rots
>bone temple is struggling to compete with avatar latest shitty instalment Oh dear. So tell me anons, if I wouldn't waste my time with avitard should I waste my time watching this?
