This was the only woman who George was looksmatched with
>>217462310Yes. The only people who got bogged in the 90s were really old women who went to the plastic surgeon. It was unheard of for a young lady in her 20s to get bogged.
>>217462117George got too greedy here, he could have made it work if he took it slow.
Not a fan of this plot line, George wasn't a food monster. Dan O'Keefe's episodes have some of the best and worst bits. His father is the real inventor of Festivus so he's probably a wacky dude IRL too.
>>217462117i always found it funny how, especially in later seasons, george's girlfriends are clearly and consistently 3-4 points lower than jerry's. if jerry was dating a 9 in an episode, george would be dating a 5. if i was an actress and i got the gig to be george's gf, id be a bit offended.
>>217464801George won though with the LTR with Susan. Jerry never came close.

>Rosebush Pruning >In the claustrophobic confines of a rural estate, a family struggles with their tangled web of hereditary diseases. Among them is Alessandro, a young man with epilepsy and paranoid tendencies. Feeling burdened by the numerous afflictions that plague his family, he decides to murder them all.Boring edgelord slop>At the Sea>After a long rehabilitation, Laura returns to her family at their beach holiday home where she has to readjust to the complicated life she left behind. Now she is forced to face the following next chapter of her life without the career that gave her fame, fortune and, most importantly, identity.Boring womanslop, (just like that Netflix crap Mundruczo directed previously, Pieces of a Woman, and shit got walled Amy Adams in it, she was never even a good actress)>Josphine>After 8-year-old Josephine accidentally witnesses a crime in Golden Gate Park, she acts out in search of a way to regain control of her safety while adults are helpless to console her.Boring Sundance slop, i hate that Berlin keeps picking up scraps from there, although at least last year they struck something with If I Had Legs I'd Kick You which was womanslop but actually kinda good>Queen At Sea>A woman moves back to London with her teenage daughter amid concern for her aging mother.MORE boring womanslop yay! Binoche has been in nothing but shit lately. >Wolfram>Aboriginal children are forced into wolfram (tungsten) mining until violence entangles them with ruthless outlaws. At the heart of the story is Pansy, longing for her stolen children in a tightly wrought western of reckoning.Muh racism, petrol sniffers edition. Not even a world premiere.
>advanced globohomo arthouse with all the movies sharing the same three flavours of plotwhat's the difference with last year?
>Everybody Digs Bill Evans>June 1961, NYC: legendary jazz pianist Bill Evans has found his musical voice and created the perfect trio, including bass player Scott LaFaro, said to be his soulmate through music. A residency at New York’s Village Vanguard culminates in the live taping of two of the greatest jazz records of all time in one night. Ten days later, LaFaro dies in a car crash. Numb with grief, Evans stops playing. That's kinda interesting. Never expected to get a Bill Evans biopic. Truly a genius musician, the film is named after I think his most popular album? It's quite good. Undercurrent is also fantastic. But Bill Evans is played by a...norwegian? Anders Danielsen Lie from basically every Joachim Trier movie. This is a weird casting choice. And it's directed by a bong who only did music documentaries and concert films before. Biopics are usually utter shit and I don't have a good feeling about this.>Salvation >After a violent period marked by regional terrorism, Sheikh Ferit of the Hazeran tribe is confronted with the return of the Beziki tribe, who reclaim their old lands. Ferit and his brother Mesut hold differing views on how to deal with the conflict. As the unrest intensifies, the disagreement between the brothers deepens, giving rise to a devastating struggle for power, land, and survival. This is a whole ass genre of Middle Eastern films (this one is Turkish) about muh tough manly men getting into petty conflicts that result in violence, this shit is profoundly boring, yet keeps being made. Russia also has this kind of shit going on but Middle Easterns absolutely excel in this boredom.

Is Inception Nolan's worst movie?
Oppenheimer was offensively smug and somehow managed to cry about the brutal necessities of war while downplaying any real human suffering.
I looked up people on reddit ranking his films and many of them put prestige first which is correct, but many put insomnia last or near the bottom which is crazy to me. id say1. prestige2. memento3. insomnia4. dunkirk5. dark knight6. batman begins7. interstellar8. dark knight rises9. tenet10. inception

Batman's statement is 100% correct.Making it incorrect requires changing the parameters of the statement.

>>217461714Two directors is not so weird, they probably filmed in two 3-episodes blocks. What blows my mind are all those fucking writers. That's indicative of either a huge mess bts or just stuffing the writers' room to give more money to literally who diversity hires. Obviously the latter.

>>217464762I chalk it up to Zootopia having a snake character feature prominently in the movie's story and marketing, and 2025 also just so happened to be the year of the snake in Chinese zodiac. That or maybe China is secretly full of furries lel.
>>217464797China is full of furries. They also have a hard time getting furry gooning material so Zootopia is their outlet for their sexual frustration. We need to kill all furries.
Man, what a movie. Singlehandedly made be believe that a slow car is basically not a car. Goodness me, when the “chicka boom, chicka boom, chicka boom boom boom boom boom boom” comes in. What a great song for that movie. Only one thing I didn’t like was that car scene with Ken Miles and his wife driving like a psycho trying to kill them. That was cringe. But man, everything else, how it looks, how it feels. Makes you want to go for a fender bender
>>217464572Man, that’s a step down. Maybe he was asked to direct it as a favor or something.
>ford vs ferrari>whole movie is about Ford being butthurt >Enzo drinking wine during his 20 second cameo and not giving two shits about Ford
>>217464255>american movie portrays giant corporation as the underdog kek no wonder trump is president there
>>217464787europoops don't understand specialization, bizarre when you're such sluts for free trade
>>217464787It’s not about the corporation as the underdog. You can see bits of criticism here and there about Ford as a company and Ford as a man himself. Him greenlighting the three cars side to side photo finish instead of letting Ken Miles go for it shows how he only thinks of his and his company’s image as the most important thing to him, meanwhile neglecting all the work of Shelby and Miles that they put in the car and the race to get him there. Also the juxtaposition of Ford leaving in a helicopter to go eat at some fancy restaurant and sleep in a luxury suite while showing his pit crew eating ham sandwiches, etc showing that he is but a patron and not one of the players in the grand scheme. The movie depicts men like Shelby and Miles and the other moustache guy as the ones who drive innovation with their grit, ingenuity, and sheer dedication.
