Whatever kids,
He was 61 years old, He had two wifes, had been famous for awhile, at that point it is a him problem,
Asia was just being a starlet, she was playing her role,
fucking around with an older guy with fame becuase it’s much better than ruining some nobodies life with paparazzi when she just wants some eazy dick in the tropics for a few years.
It is completely on Mr. Bourdain that he was too stupid not to play his role in this play and caught feelings for a famous star 19 years his jr.

Hoshino coffee chain is just a comfy place to get coffee served on china and some big pancakes or tea cakes for a meeting or to read a book.
There is nothing extra fancy about it but nothing particularly wrong about it either.
It’s the kind of thing I miss about Japan that doesn’t really exist in the same way in the United States. It’s not the same as a Starbucks AT ALL. Bobo places also just don’t have that same faux gentile vibe you get in Japan, there are competing chains in Japan and independent places. I particularly prefer the booths, which have been almoved completely removed across America for “Happening” vibes the more noises less comfy seating that marketing companies claim are better for business in America. Booths have been removed precisely because of your post, people, meaning women, go into a booth place and think it looked “sad” and outdated.

Why are there so few movies set in Australian cities?

When I was looking up articles on it, they all said they wanted to improve the quality of the programs and then launched into a bunch of stuff about First Nations stories and shows that reflect Australia as a multicultural and multiethnic nation.
So I guess we're going to get MAFS but with more browns and Asians.
>>
Contemporary Australia just reads like a combination of the worst aspects of the US and UK.
>>
>>217464768
Yeah the problem is that when you go into media production with an agenda, whether that is simply to make Australian content or to fill it with blacks and browns, you don't make good stuff.
It's hard to put a finger on exactly, but you just know when you're watching something and there isn't an creative desire or inspiration behind it, they're just making it because there's certain boxes they had to tick for funding and a job.
>>
>>217464686
>It's pretty much like Britain but worse, almost everything produced is reality tv but even more lurid and foul
We actively import the worst shit from the US and Britain.

Australian Family Feud, Pawn Stars Australia, The Real Housewives of Melbourne, The Australian Taskmaster, Australia's Got Talent, Australian Idol, The Great Australian Bake Off, MasterChef Australia, Love Island Australia, etc etc.

This shit is so bad they have their own wiki pages
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Australian_television_series_based_on_American_television_series

>>217464803
In terms of cultural output, yeah absolutely, it's not just that we have the worst of both but that we're such a small country with diminishing output, and it's impossible for artists to support themselves given how crazy expensive things are now here. Also really confused cultural programs run by old fuck donors and government grants.
But I think we still have a great lifestyle if you're fit and the best sporting culture in the world by far.

Yes. The only people who got bogged in the 90s were really old women who went to the plastic surgeon. It was unheard of for a young lady in her 20s to get bogged.
>>
>>217462117
George got too greedy here, he could have made it work if he took it slow.
>>
Not a fan of this plot line, George wasn't a food monster. Dan O'Keefe's episodes have some of the best and worst bits. His father is the real inventor of Festivus so he's probably a wacky dude IRL too.
>>
>>217462117
i always found it funny how, especially in later seasons, george's girlfriends are clearly and consistently 3-4 points lower than jerry's. if jerry was dating a 9 in an episode, george would be dating a 5. if i was an actress and i got the gig to be george's gf, id be a bit offended.
>>
>>217464801
George won though with the LTR with Susan. Jerry never came close.

Oppenheimer was offensively smug and somehow managed to cry about the brutal necessities of war while downplaying any real human suffering.

I looked up people on reddit ranking his films and many of them put prestige first which is correct, but many put insomnia last or near the bottom which is crazy to me.

5. dark knight
6. batman begins
7. interstellar

Two directors is not so weird, they probably filmed in two 3-episodes blocks.
What blows my mind are all those fucking writers. That's indicative of either a huge mess bts or just stuffing the writers' room to give more money to literally who diversity hires. Obviously the latter.

I chalk it up to Zootopia having a snake character feature prominently in the movie's story and marketing, and 2025 also just so happened to be the year of the snake in Chinese zodiac. That or maybe China is secretly full of furries lel.
>>
>>217464797
China is full of furries. They also have a hard time getting furry gooning material so Zootopia is their outlet for their sexual frustration. We need to kill all furries.

Man, what a movie. Singlehandedly made be believe that a slow car is basically not a car. Goodness me, when the “chicka boom, chicka boom, chicka boom boom boom boom boom boom” comes in. What a great song for that movie. Only one thing I didn’t like was that car scene with Ken Miles and his wife driving like a psycho trying to kill them. That was cringe. But man, everything else, how it looks, how it feels. Makes you want to go for a fender bender

>>
>>217464787
europoops don't understand specialization, bizarre when you're such sluts for free trade
>>
>>217464787
It’s not about the corporation as the underdog. You can see bits of criticism here and there about Ford as a company and Ford as a man himself. Him greenlighting the three cars side to side photo finish instead of letting Ken Miles go for it shows how he only thinks of his and his company’s image as the most important thing to him, meanwhile neglecting all the work of Shelby and Miles that they put in the car and the race to get him there. Also the juxtaposition of Ford leaving in a helicopter to go eat at some fancy restaurant and sleep in a luxury suite while showing his pit crew eating ham sandwiches, etc showing that he is but a patron and not one of the players in the grand scheme.

The movie depicts men like Shelby and Miles and the other moustache guy as the ones who drive innovation with their grit, ingenuity, and sheer dedication.
