The storylines are a bit formulaic. Guy gets out of prison, he's too psycho for the other mobsters, Tony or someone kills him at the end of the season.But I watched Sopranos for the main cast, for the way it gets you to sympathise with the mobsters, have fun with them, watching them cracking jokes and having a good time, and then BAM! they just shot someone for no reason, this is who you wanted to be friends with? You were laughing along with this guy's jokes a second ago but now you remember he's a murderer.

Just finished. It's another Battle Royale knockoff and it's TERRIBLE. This one has a teacher hypnotize his entire class secretly so that if they break any one of 100 rules they'll unwillingly commit suicide. He doesn't tell them what any of the rules are, tells them the hypnosis will only wear off when only one of the kids is left alive, and then kills himself. The movie is the kids trying to figure out what the rules are, and they can be just STUPID random shit, like "no drinking coffee." I hated this. When the shit that can kill the characters can be literally any random fucking thing there isn't much suspense.
