This shouldn't try to have an actual story, the detective part kinda sucks ass, the story is always overly convoluted and the answer to who dun it, is the person they actively cast no suspicion on.It should have been episodic and more about a Tim Burton version of a school show. The best parts are all the wacky in between, the nonsense, the sarcasm and what not. The over arching story was shit, both times, but the 2nd was way worse with far too many plots for 8 episodes.Anyways I'd also smash Enid in wolf form.
The mystery aspect of season one was fairly entertaining, the whole "who is the hyde" thing. The "mystery" of season 2 was paper thin and way too much time was devoted to it

They overuse red herrings to the point that you know who it is by who never had a red herring.But an episodic show with mini 1 or 2 episode mysteries would have been better as then you're not relying on a really good mystery (undercut by bathos humor) and instead rely on the humor, for which The Addams Family is known for, it's supposed to be silly, so it's hard to really do anything outside of comedy really great.Imagine if the siren bitch had only one episode of her mom drama and not sprinkled through the entire season, you could basically ignore that episode but now that sub plot (literally from last season) taints the entirety.
