writes the jokes
>>214411501kek i can picture it
>>214415938The reason it stole the joke from the Budweiser commercials is because those commercials were relevant at the time of the release of the movie and the movies they spoofed and was a cultural phenomenon. Before that, it was the frogs.
>>214416005Because he was the token black friend. Watch the movie you retard.
>>214411359might want to spoof a couple more if able but sounds funny already.
>>214411852i mean, they're the Wayans lol, they have crossed some boundaries with blacks in the name of comedy.

>>214419631As far as US broadcast TV used to go, shows could get cancelled at any time, even midseason before a storyline was finished, or even before all the episodes that had been shot were even aired. The actors on those US broadcast TV shows could also wind up suddenly out of work, with little warning because of this, although I suspect main actors actually had contracts guaranteeing full seasons worth of work, or at least a full season of paychecks, given how many leads on shows that got cancelled would wind up on another show from the same network, or on another show produced by the same studio or production company. By constantly cancelling crap, Netflix basically can’t easily guarantee access to thr same actors quickly. Amazon used to have the same issue when they started making shows for Prime. (Sneaky Pete is an example amongst others).
>>214415536this post is unc coded no cap lmao
>>214419685> I might be back in a couple of years, it only takes a few months to catch up.You know you can just pirate the shows, right?Like you don’t even have to watch them. None of this is mandatory, but if you feel like you must, you can stream or torrent them all for free easily

The Fly 2(3)>Sequel went through many drafts but could not secure Geena Davis which meant she got wrote out.>Even after the release of The Fly 2, Davis was interested in coming back for a retconned sequel, which saw Geena Davis give birth to twins that transformed into Fly monsters. The title pitch was "Flies">The earliest sequel draft was meant to include the Goldblum/Davis dynamic. Seth Brundles consciousnesses is alive inside his computer hardware.>Brundle would become integrated into the companies security systems and able to cause mayhem for them, as he tries to secure a way to create a body for himself.
Beetlejuice Goes Hawaiian>Sequel was pitched in the 90's to take place on a few years after the Original. >It sees the Deetz family overseeing construction in Hawaii and disturbing the spirits there.>Burton saw an opportunity to clash the black and white German expressionism against the tropical setting.>More post modern designs to be incorporated into the Hotel designed by Delia and Otho>Beetlejuice is hired by the native spirits to scare off the Deetz
Total Recall 2>Douglas Quaid is living his life on Mars as part of Martian security. They have implemented a pre-crime division, which uses the psychics to see crimes before they happen>This story was a reworking of Philip K Dick's Minority Report to work as a sequel, which later became a Spielberg movie. >Would have seen the return Michael Ironside's character Ritcher, with robot arms. Featuring a plot about precogs and moons of Mars, with a special effects heavy climax of one being thrown off orbit.
>>214419451I know Burton came up with this as a joke to get WB off his back but I would've watched the fuck out of this.
>>214419518Sometimes full scripts are written as per contract options and never intended to be used. E.T. 2 and Gladiator 2 are two examples of sort of troll fiction. The writers wrote absurd sequels. ET 2 is a horror movie and Gladiator 2 feature ressurrection and reincarnation and gods. Beetlejuice 2 was a semi-viable pitch that WB was actually interested.. A ugly gaudy hotel in hawaii? That is hilarious. Kevin Smith shits on it cause he is a dialogue guy, not a visual director.
>>214419588>ET 2 is a horror movieThat's silly, we already had that.
>>214419458I know it but most anons on this board don'tSo putting Zach Cregger in the title would mean nothing to 90% of anons here because they don't know if he's an actor, a producer, a director, a writer or a fluffer or what

So why did Jessi stop appearing on the show? And most importantly, why did Mike hide his love for professional wrestling?
>>214418408Who?
>>214418129She was embarrassed at how fat and ugly they had become. When they met she felt young and hip, a pretty member of an edgy band. He was a tall handsome dude with a passion for filmmaking. After a few short years though the reality set in. Her band was actually shit and going nowhere, and Mike was someone who believed passionately in ghosts and earned a living pandering to pathetic nerds online by whining about children's scifi like it was life or death. She watched back one of the videos, Mike's rampant alcoholism becoming more evident, his neck and jowls expanding like a diseased frog. She didnt recognise herself anymore. "Who is this chubby soccer mom?" She asked herself. Looking jealously at Mike. He could drown the pain away, just a few beers and it felt like 1998 again. It wasn't so easy for her. She resigned herself to her fate. Now she cries quietly in the kitchen when no one is around. She always feels better after a good cry.
>>214418420A fallen hero from a forgotten age.
>>214419105I just need her to sit on my face and fart. I can die happy then.
I miss her, she was hilarious and much needed on the episodes she was on. She was the elyse of funhaus.
How do you feel about scooby-doo (franchise)?
>>214416820Every Scooby Doo with real ghosts is automatically bad.
>>214419679This is objectively untrue. It just has to be done well, like any concept.
>>214416820It's extremely repetitive and pretty stupid conceptually, but my kids love it so it's okay by me. Every main character added after the original main cast of 5 sucks.
>>214419700The concept of real ghosts is fundamentally oxymoronic to the concept of Scooby Doo.
Never knew the Stephen King book of the same name. When I heard the title I thought it might be about some war time death march (fictional or real) like what happened in Bataan. Saw the trailer and the premise gimmick looks so uninteresting and not at all scary. Don’t know the story but I guarantee the “interesting” and “thrilling” parts will just be characters betraying each other. Just seems like a boring film but who knows.
>>214418854It was first published under his short-lived penname, 'Richard Bachman.'And the film is actually pretty entertaining with likeable characters you actually start to feel for. More of a survival drama than anything tho.
>>214418942It came out already? I just don’t see the drama when there has to be a single survivor meaning you just can’t trust anyone. I do understand that I’ll be mostly character driven. I just hope they don’t pull a Hunger Games twist and threaten to all stop at the same time.
>>214419030It comes out tomorrow in my part of the world, but got to see it early. They certainly try to avoid that twist.
>i'm walkin 'ere
>>214418854>premise gimmick looks so uninteresting and not at all scarywhat i thought when I picked up the book, and I was surprised how good it was, very simple premise but a great book, hope the movie is decent at least
