Why doesn’t /tv/ like the Terrifier movies? They’re fun.

>>215536691good morning sir
>>215535663Just a quick question...What kind of movies do YOU watch exactly? I haven't seen any of the Terrifier movies, but I'm curious what kind of a poster makes these elaborate soccer-mom-style posts.
>>215534970There's one, I think it was Sid Haig's last movie.
I'd like 2 & 3 more if the director didn't want to have some deep backstory to why Art is immortal and shit. Who cares? Give us a clown going around chopping people up. There doesn't need to be a reason.

>this movie was so bad in every sense and normies loved it. Horrible script, horrible characters.>You just have shit taste>What values does the film convey? What is the lesson of the film? What new concepts does it contain? How does the story make sense? One "lesson" I suppose, could be addressed to the scientific community, and that is to adopt love of mankind and humility as guiding principles. Science cannot inform morality. The fact that the characters had a humility to them and weren't authoritarian leaning is important to note, especially in the current climate. >values Family values for a start, the importance of love. Love, in conjunction with bravery, self-sacrifice and human excellence can accomplish unimaginable triumphs. >What new concepts does it contain? If you're a Trekkie or have read dozens of sci-fi books with tons of different concepts then you probably wont see it as 100% original, even though the people involved published scientific papers as a result of their work on the film. This is the first time you see a scientifically accurate black hole on screen so they pushed the envelope on that front. The film contains a story with advanced beings outside of time, a black hole, a wormhole, love and gravity as transcendental forces, a very long time travel loop where a species saves itself, through a tesseract, communicating, dare I utter the word, spiritually. For me all that's new. If you believe in God you know he's described as infinite light and love, so the film in its agnostic presentation still hints at a higher plane in the very least, and the beings that inhabit it understand 'love' far better than mankind does, otherwise their plan with the wormhole would've failed. But if in somebody's worldview there's only matter then the story will make sense until it doesn't. Granted, there's still lots of mystery and unanswered questions, as there should be.

>>215536594> Several witnesses found in media accounts would relate descriptions of the alleged items recovered by officers, one of these accounts was reported by Evelyn Roberson, who was 15 at the time of the crime and was stated in an interview for the "Post and Courier" News in January of 2014, alleging that Stinney's Grandmother Clara Stinney, had called the police to her home. This particular account however is hear-say, the likely result of local gossip regarding why the police had arrived at Stinney's home the day the bodies were discovered, possibly conflating various items of information. Many of these accounts relate that Clara Stinney had found or located the bloody clothing for the officers. > An account from Robert Ridgeway stated that he was told by his father that Clara Stinney had notified Ben Alderman, the son of the owner of the Mill that her Grandson had confessed to her.> Another account from William L. Hamilton, Stinney's school teacher stated during a 1995 interview, that he had "... also heard that the law found George's clothes with (blood) stains on them when they searched his house."> 9-year-old Paul Fann, a direct witness to the events was working for his father's grocery store delivering ice in the neighborhood and had himself taken part in the search looking for Betty June Binnicker and Mary Emma Thames, and was present outside the Stinney home as police officers raiding the home, drawing a small crowd of neighbors. He then witnessed a white man exit the Stinney residence carrying some clothing and announcing that they had found the clothes he wore during the murders. Fann then watched the police arrest Stinney and place him in the back of a cop car.
