Is this show worth watching?
Usually I don't get into long serialised shows, especially not modern ones (I prefer episodic shows after getting burned out on binging all the famous serialised dramas back in 2010-13). But I find the setting of early 60s corporate New York to be extremely comfy and cool and want to watch a show that isn't about even more cops and gangsters (just finishing Deadwood now, and did a rewatch of The Sopranos recently).
Also the fact that it's made by one of the lead writers on The Sopranos is cool, and if Don Draper is influenced by Tony Soprano in terms of depth I'll be happy.
I heard the show drops in quality later on though. Is that true?

>But I find the setting of early 60s corporate New York to be extremely comfy and cool
then definitely watch it, the setting is one of its strongest features.
It's a dialogue-based show with not much action, but the dialogue is very well written, if you don't mind this then I'm sure you'll have a good time

It's NOT as good as the sopranos, but it's still good

And like the sopranos, the first 2 seasons are not as good as the others... now leave before someone spoils the good lines
>>
>>217484563
Yeah I'm honestly just lookign for a show to have on while I chill and have a bourbon on a Friday night, not into anything too heavy or dark or violent, just comfy vibes and good dialogue.

>one day you'll be able to enter a prompt and generate a full length movie

This technology is already available and people are using it to make concept movies. But one day in the not too distant future, I think the average person will have the capability to generate entire movies from simple prompts. And they'll be of such high quality that you'll struggle to tell it's AI at all. It makes me wonder, what kind of movies will the average person make, will the movie industry die, and what will happen to cinemas?

Community but it's just Annie and Britta fucking each other at the beginning and end of every episode.

i think it will be a big hurdle for anything involving people to not come off as literally soulless. but the brown people who already enjoy this shit don;t notice as they have no soul

My 70 year old mom after a few months is already able to tell when songs she finds are AI generated and some of them are pretty convincing sounding so I have faith that most people will develop an ear and eye to recognize AI in the coming months and years.

Bone Temple was actually good. Loved the ending.
>>
>>217483730
what did you think of it in comparison to the first film
>>
>>217482234
I'm sure the execution was indeed stupid but having to kill evil people in order to spare innocent people from some deity sounds like it would be pretty dope if done right.
>>
>>217483885
28 days later is one of my all time favorite movies so it's hard for anything to beat it. 28 weeks and 28 Years were very weak films. Bone Temple redeemed the series, I didn't like everything in Bone Temple, The alpha/Kelson story line was too "whimsical" for my tastes, but they managed to work that into the other story line in a satisfying enough way. I don't like that the alpha is cured. The Jimmy Savile cult was actually fantastic, I wish they would have gave them a different introduction in 28 years, it was so weird and out of place. 28 Years introduced a lot of silly shit to the universe of the film, I won't list them out but one thing that made that movie suck was breaking away from what makes zombie/outbreak/fallen society movies great is not the monsters but the people being the main threats. Bone Temple brought it back and it worked perfectly, as it supposed to. I seen other anons complaining about Jimmy Ink but her and Spike worked really well together. I didn't like Spike in 28 years later but he was good in this, playing a slightly less prominent role.

Just finished. My favorite Asami is a meth addict bought by a crazy doctor who's trained to become an assassin for his revenge plot against the rich psycho who killed his wife. She's going to be rendered comatose and smuggled into a sex club for necrophiliacs where she will have to remove gun parts surgically implanted in her body and pull of the assassination before she bleeds to death. The premise is idiotic but it leads to a climax where Asami has to do hand to hand combat while completely naked and covered in blood so I'm not complaining. It's not very good otherwise.
