It's honestly incredible how boring it is, especially with the amount of filler repeat shots there are. You expect a show like this with its bold art direction, insane plot, and sexual nature to have some pep in its step but god damn does it drag its feet. The soundtrack certainly doesn't help either. With hindsight, I think this is one of those media productions that survives almost entirely on its premise and ideas, and not from anything in the actual execution of them. It's a real shame, because this same exact material in the hands of someone competent could have easily made a show that would be well-known even today. There really is nothing like it content-wise.
