The last time I ever engaged with this show was the Aaron Paul episode because based on the setup I thought they were going to do something different, dipping into a thriller race against time thing for Paul to rescue the other guy's family from the loons. A tepid version of Taken for sure, but something a bit different for the show. But nah, they all die and the whole episode is, again, plodding ponderous misery porn for its own sake. At least the earlier episodes had some diversity like the guy hiding the fact he's a pedo (and Alex Lawther was perfect casting because he has the face of a pedophilic faggot).
