Then he'd never go evil." and what it’s like when a Master Jedi turns to the Dark Side. You have to really read their dynamic but you can tell Dooku gets way too powerful much quicker than Sidious anticipates, so he has to quickly kill him off without Dooku realizing what he’s doing at the beginning of Episode III because he can now potentially kill Palpatine himself or at least expose him, and being an established Master at his prime is too mature to bent to Sidious's will, forcing him to placate him as though they're "business partners."There’s a lot of great material there to dig into. If the IP was in better hands he laid the groundwork for many amazing stories.
