Just finished Dagon. Kino of the highest order. My only complaint is the protagonists. I'd have preferred a more hard boiled or world weary main character, but holy shit this is the closest to an actual lovecraft story I've seen on the screen. Everything else goes all campy or only has tangential references to the material. Anyway, it goes without saying that this was way better than Suspiria. This was pretty good for what it was. Can't quite call it a parody because it had it's own original story and didn't randomly throw in references to recent popular horror movies. But the concept felt like it was a diet version of a mix between Saw and Scream, just not quite a parody of either of those concepts. Surprisingly, the characters were pretty well developed and the acting was decent. One of the things black american culture does well is their ability to make absolutely ruthless jokes at other people's expense. And for some reason, they bring it to a whole other level when its their fellow black american whose expense it is at. This movie is riddled with references to black culture, as expected, but the self-criticism is extremely tasteful and the joke writing that backs it up is mostly very good. The self-flagellation is done very well in this movie and it, unexpectedly, does a pretty competent job of introducing the valid, universal theme of the breakdown of identity when exposed to sunlight. And the bi-racial chick is an absolute smoke show.

>>204084472It should have been Jeffrey Combs but he was too old for the role, so they went with a look-alike
>>204087660Have you seen Bitch Ass? https://www.imdb.com/title/tt13991504/>A gang initiation goes wrong when a group of four recruits break into a house of horror, as they're all forced to play deadly games for their lives. Win and you live - lose and you die. It's like Nigsaw.
Dagon was very good, I loved the setting and just general “damp” vibe the entire movie has. Fishfu was cute as well. So far from all the lovecraft movies I’ve watched I’d probably rank themRe-Animator>Color out of Space>From Beyond=Dagon>The Void
this is an upgrade from j-lo. also apparently it's meta, about Black and Rudd attempting to remake anaconda and finding a real one. I actually think that's funny.
>>204087407That literally is her face now

>COMPANIONhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PhcLjiVtgco>Companion has been rated “R” by the MPA for “Strong violence, sexual content, and language throughout.” The film’s cast includes Sophie Thatcherwill we see her fat tits? I hope so. my guess is this is gonna be a "sex bot tries to escape but owner keeps rebuying her and killing her"
>>204087509Post-op she looks like that guy from Mulholland Drive
>>204087759Guy looks like the guy that sits inside the toilet lmao

another monster in the basement movie. won't be as good as Beezel, but does star Barbara Crampton and seems to guest star Heather Langenkamp AND Bonnie Aaronshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qn8M0OE1X9Y
oh Haunted Ulster Live is finally getting some kind of real release next week. have heard about this a bunch, apparently Ghostwatch-ish.I would laugh if it was better than Late Night With the Devilhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GrTAMXD_ztY
Is this worth a watch? I haven't seen Demons 1 or 2 but I read that this was supposed to be the third film.
>>204088412This was okay. One time watch.
afraid The Eye (2002) did absolutely nothing for melead actress was kinda cute though
>>204088541It was whatever. That actress has another horror movie named Ghost House or something.
>>204088671What is that? A woman?
>>204088803Yes that’s how they are born.
Damn, some of these are just spot-on:https://youtu.be/Vv9MfgMbKEI
>>204087774Now watch The Resurrected.
>>204087523Scream 2 is the only horror movie where a black person dies first and that's because it's making fun of the completely fake trope.
>>204087488Trooncore dogshit
>>204089003Way to ruin the first movie and series. First movie had no blacks and second one starts off with two black loud characters.
>>204082123>Been slowly showing my gf the Universal Monster moviesSo uh do you play them at halfspeed or what?
>>204088902i found my favorite early
>>204089106can't believe we still don't have a big new grayy lmao horror film like fire in the sky, but actually committing to it and not pivoting into a drama.
>>204089168i like how Altered went body horror with it
>>204089185didn't like Altered personally, the whole reverse abduction thing felt flat to me. but I was hoping for a found footage alien film by a BWP director and got something completely different so I was somewhat thrown.
Anyone here saw the screening? Everyone is praising it
>>204087774i made something of this i'll post it in the next thread in kolovision
>>204089307Fuck, was it a one day thing? Don't tell me I missed the shit.
Is Monique Gabrielle in any other horror flicks? She has one of the most rockin pairs I have ever seen
>>204089354>This dude is rude!
>>204089307Kek. Every actress/girl over 25 should have that warning on their IMDb page.

>>204089354A quick look at imdb says 976-Evil 2 and Transylvania Twist. Lots of erotica though, dang. She did more than Shannon Tweed.
>>204081420Watched Nosferatu the other day. I’m feeling heavy Dracula this year so will do the classic one as well. Any underrated draculas?
>>204089708>Bram Stoker's Dracula>Vampire Hunter D>Shadow of the Vampire
>>204089825Thx brother

Watched Nightmare On Elm Street yesterday before bed. Still the best one, Tina's death scene and corpse walking through the school hall then being dragged still hits.Watched Season of the Witch 1972 this morning. Boring movie. I recommend a skip for sure unless you're a feminist.Watched Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama this afternoon. Great movie. Girls in panties being paddled, whip creamed, showering nude, dolled up in lingerie, going topless and other kinky hijinks amok. Linea Quigley still hot even though she is 30 going on 40. One of the best horror comedies for gooners like me. Just finished The Legend of Hell House. One of my favorite haunted house movies of all time. Both actresses in this are hot. A must watch for October.
>>204087301Yeah he keeps pursuing him because he's the only victim that put up a real doggy and presented a challenge. By the end you can tell Rutger has some respect for him for surviving so long.
