31 Nights of Horror, 2024>Day 10: The Devil's RockSomehow, New Zealand made a good film. A smalltime WWII picture about - of course - Nazi occultism gone wrong. The Devil's Rock stretches a small budget, small cast, and confined set into an effective character-driven piece. Surprisingly reserved without getting boring, the SFX, sparingly used, are actually pretty good. There's a lot of predictable shit in the plot, but maybe we can call it "archetypical". I liked this movie. Would recommend.
