>Victoria Price's biography Vincent Price: A Daughter's Biography (1999) details Price's early antisemitism[51] and initial admiration for Adolf Hitler. According to his daughter: "When he went to Germany and Austria as a young man, he was struck by a lot of things going on during the Weimar Republic and the dissolution of the empire... So when Hitler came into power, instead of seeing him as a dangerous force, he was sort of swept up in this whole idea that Hitler was going to bring German pride back."[52]

listen to me you slimy little homosexuals I need help remembering a something I saw when I was a teeny tiny little kid. It was am anthology movie or maybe a TV show but definitely not feature length. It had that 1989 - 1991 kind of look. The story was a rich lady does a demonic ritual to resurrect her son. Of course the son came back evil. She has a huge mansion with like a huge rotunda room with a winding staircase and all white marble. He knocks her down the stairs and as she's lying there injured lightning flashes and he looks really scary and turns out he committed suicide to get away from her and a demon came back. I'm not sure if it was Tales from the Dark Side or even the 90's Outer Limits but does anyone have any idea?

Any type of horror that doesnt have any effect on you? Ghost stories dont really do anything for me (Catholics dont believe in ghosts; a spirit is a demon). Possession movies only really disturb me in certain ways. For example i found the cavorting of possessed bodies in the conjuring and hereditary laughable. What does disturb me is a implication in the Exorcist (especially in the book) where Reagan walks about the house at night and climbs out the window to desecrate the church. The idea of a person possessed by another entity walking about your house whilst you are sleeping is what disturbs me most.

Not in the sense that it became a corporate ideology parroted by Hollywood and some MSM sources. The source of the 1st movie (directe/written by a jew) was a Clive Barker story

Hey /hor/, was wondering if you guys had any good creature/monster movie recommendations. It's my favorite guilty pleasure so I've seen a good deal of them, but am always trying out more to see which I like. I just watched Dark Was The Night last night which was up my alley. I wish the special effects were better (or that they went practical effects) but otherwise I enjoyed it, reminded me of old Syfy channel creature features (back when it was called Sci-Fi).
I like browsing Tubi for horror movies I haven't seen yet but the biggest pain is the movie turning out to be a really low budget one that doesn't have professional camerawork, acting, etc.

Ok gonna rant- I support film 100%, but a massive screen stating “THIS WAS ENTIRELY SHOT ON 35MM FILM” is just fucking obnoxious. Also, why the fuck did it just look like oversaturrated garbage? Spend all that time and energy and it still looks like shit?
Which horror film started the trope of “oh haha we’re gonna smash cut to inappropriate/unconventional music over this scene ahaha isn’t it funny and different and cute?!?” please tell me so I can go back in time and murder them. It isn’t interesting, it isn’t funny, it doesn’t add anything to the film, it’s total shit that takes me out of the film in a bad way. In fact, the entire score of this film was either horrible or stereotypical.
At first I thought the “oh interesting, they’re doing chapters but skipping forwards” was a cool idea- skip all the “boring parts” and only show us the intense parts. That’s cool. But NOPE- just another Tarantino rip off where we go back in time and jump around for no goddamn reason. It’s not cool, it’s not interesting, it’s just another tired gimmick in a film already full of tired gimmicks.
Bad acting, bad writing ontop of everything else.
Why the fuck does everyone give a shit about this again?

They also both generate far more plots than they destroy. Abandoned highway roadside shelters are such a big thing in the 70s because there were a shit load of them all of a sudden.
