IMO Jade and Jim both were way cooler when they were trying to understand this place from a scientific perspective. The place's purpose is to break people. This explains shit that's been happening in this and previous season, the longer people stay there, the more the place wants to break them. Donna was targeted heavily for a while, they turned her house into a slaughter(house) hoping that'd be the end of her but she held on to Fatima's pregnancy and now that happens in order to break both of them.
Boid's breakpoints are 1. Losing his son to maddness 2. Grandchild turns into onion 3. Town becomes ungovernable 4. Sickness

Has no one on the production staff thought this out at all? If we saw that they had a chicken coop for example, I could at least handwave away a lot of this stuff because they could just let the chickens roam around eating bugs / plant seeds and get fresh eggs daily, and even have some protein from chicken in their diet.

But all we ever see them eat is vegetable soup / broth, at least that's all they're ever eating at the diner. There's no way those meals are calorie dense enough for them to survive, especially in winter. They would need meat, they would need dairy, and they would need grains to make up for the calorie deficit.

What pisses me off about From casting is that it's filmed in a tiny, tiny White town in eastern Canada/maritimes provinces. But instead of using local residents as background actors, they fly in American niggers and keep them in hotels for literally years just to stand in the background during town meetings. They're paid like $20-40k/year plus housing paid for, without any lines usually unless they force them into becoming side characters like nigger bus lady running the diner. And that takes up a lot of their budget just to house niggers from another country here for diversity in the show. And while those nogs are in hotels, guess what they do? Drink and smoke all day every day, hustle cocaine and abuse women at night clubs/bars. And advocate for BLM type shit. While we have thousands of boomers really eager to be a part of the show that live down the street and would do it for free but keep being told no. So the $40k per nig they spent from the budget has to be redeemed somewhere, so they hire fucking COMPANIES FROM INDIA FULL OF SAARS AND RETARD JEETS AND USE THE GOVERNMENT GRANTS TO PAY FOR THEM. LIKE THE HORRIBLE VFX FROM THE DALE EPISODE. FUCKING ASSHOLES.

What is the deal with the trees and the crows? They seem way too proeminent in the show (the opening, the drawings etc.)
The first drawing shown in the opening is the fallen tree, a car and crows nearby. I googled 'trees and crows' and found this:
