The postgame is much harder than the final bosses as well, but the Lost Evolution final boss is a joke if that's what you're thinking of. I'm not claiming it's a 10/10 strategy game to be clear, but just like Time Stranger if you don't abuse the stat gain mechanics you will need to engage with the combat systems to avoid having a horrible time.

He’s mentally broken by prime 4 and just wants to kill samus to prove to himself that he is more than her. I like that it’s open to interpretation but it was undercooked. He should have spoken a lot more throughout the game. Personally I really like him now and hope he returns in prime 5 which will totally happen despite everyone hating prime 4.
I played Prime 1 for the first time earlier this year, I somehow only realized like 80% through the game that it was just a 'collect all the pieces hidden around the map to fight one final boss' simulator. 6/10 game at best, I will NOT be playing the rest of the Prime series and instead will be jerking off to futanari Samun.
