Considering a steam deck, found an under priced LCD model, I was going to wait for a Deck 2 but the RAM situation has me thinking to pull the trigger now. Anyone who got a deck regret it or love it more than they thought etc?I already have a Vita/Switch/3DS but the Vita form factor doesn't feel comfortable, and my Switch is CFW + it's a switch so performance is poor. In my mind I would be able to consolidate my library down to just my Deck+PC aside from exclusives etc.
Piggybacking because I’m in the same boat and I’m wondering if I should hold off and go OLED or just get a cheap base model.
It's strangley become my main console to play on over my desktop. I'm not playing any current AAA or AAAA games cause they suck, and my base model dexk can run everything I want to play.

How do you guys think the undertale prequel fan games in development should handle saving for the souls? My idea is hallucinations, everytime a soul dies,he wakes up and start at the last point he slept at(that's his way of saving,taking rest at various places,everytime he dies,it's a bad ending). Another idea I have is a character from the future travelled backing in time to stop something horrible from happening after the undertale ending and is helping the soul out. To me,this is good idea because you can introduce the original cast without breaking canon. Heck,this could be the weird route or the true ending of a prequel game.

I understand the goal is a more slow paced, realistic take on a city builder but I wish it would take some of the "story telling" bits from something like Rimworld. Random events like a war in a nearby kingdom causing your map to get a flood of refugees/more raiders/etc, or a plague breakout, blight on crops, etc.

But the UI itself is so annoying the top bar doesn't swap cleanly when moving between regions. If they are going to make balance changes to force us into having multiple towns/regions they need to make it more fluid to use.
