Guys I was watching a lore video and this came to me.Marika was also a jar shaman but while everyone else got disfigured and did not work, everything blended with Marika and she was reborn as the hornsent's saint, someone who could become a god (meaning she was an empyrean chosen by the fingers, if the empyrean quality was something original marika was born with or something she acquired by being blended with other things is up to debate)The hornsent then went to war against any other empyreans that could become the elden beast vessel and ascend to godhood, marika decided to wed hoarah loux, a fierce bloodthirsty warlord and the hornsent (who were masters of blending life together) decided to graft a lion into him and turn him into a more respected person in the eyes of their culture, he then became godfrey, it's similar to how our tarnished weds ranni as a consort and become a lord before we actually fight the elden beast to become proper elden lord and for her to become the god of the new ageSo we have three important things that happen at this time, marika gets pregnant with her first child, malekith kills the gloam eyed queen, sealing her power of destined death and godfrey wins against the giantsMarika's first child is messmer and a part of something that was blended into marika goes into him, marika is of course horrified by that and resents the hornsent people for what they turn her into and what they did to her people, so she calls godfrey back from his war just making sure the giants surrendered and then turns her consort and his army against the hornsent people, she gets pregnant once more and gives birth to melina (and she might have some geq quality after marika was made to absorb her empyrean qualities as well to perfect herself? or maybe she absorbed a part of the geq rune? i'm not sure on this one)As godfrey's army massacred the hornsent and create the wall where marika's ascension occurs, marika starts (cont in next post)

Exclusively use piss coloured lightning, red lightning and some fire spells that help emulate. A similar build also works for black flame blade themed invader too. Can anyone add to this or provide some extra tech? And speaking of hybrid builds. Now that we have a staff that can cast int+faith and we have all these natural faith scaling weapons I feel like capped int + minimum faith is a more possible build. At the end ranni was there being guided through the eternal city in her proper doll body by the tarnished, instead of the assassin at the end it was blaidd being summoned by the power of the fingers, he had succumbed to his programing and attacked ranni, all the while flipping between being hostile and friendly begging you to put him down and when he eventually died ranni commented on it trying to play it off but her ghost face looked like it was about to cry. There also a weird cut to the dlc where I had metyr low on health and the "black eye quivers" like message from ds1 showed up but for miniature ranni and when I talked to her it triggered a cutscene where metyr tried to teleport away, ranni blocked it, and I was able to actually kill metyr. Man, second playthrough, attempting to beat it "the right way" just made it all the more apparent that I just can't physically dodge roll at the level the DLC requires from you.I can't visibly parse the attacks through the visual clutter, too many attacks have instant wind ups and delays so that you have to identify which combo he's doing and remember the sequence...
